“…What?”

Using the money from selling someone’s younger siblings to buy poison and murder their brother…

Only the original Su Wan could do something so utterly despicable.Full novel: Transmigrated into the Farmhouse Favorite: The Supporting Character Is Max Level — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Su Wan! Get your ass out here!”

Growing impatient, the trafficker pounded on the courtyard gate with loud bangs.

With a cold expression, Su Wan prepared to go outside.

“Don’t go!”

Mother Gu came to her senses and glanced at Su Wan’s slender arms and legs.

“I’ll handle it.” Her face darkened as she grabbed the hoe leaning behind the door. Raising her brows fiercely, she declared, “How dare they try to swindle me! If I don’t teach them a lesson, they’ll forget that even the King of Hell has three eyes!”

“They’re here for me. I’ll go.”

Now that she had taken over the original Su Wan’s body, she should also clean up the mess she’d left behind.

Although she’d inherited a mountain of trouble, surviving was better than dying. No matter how she looked at it, she’d already gotten the better end of the bargain by being alive.

Taking the hoe from Mother Gu’s hands, Su Wan said, “Stay out of this.”

“But—”

Mother Gu stared at Su Wan’s thin arms, which looked skinnier than the hoe’s handle.

Can she even swing that thing?

Worried, she hurried after her.

Gu Huaizhi’s face darkened. After coughing several times, he also walked outside.

Summoning their courage, Gu Jingyun and Gu Baozhu peeked out from behind the doorway, two little heads poking around the frame, their large black eyes fixed on the scene outside.

Leaning on the hoe, Su Wan narrowed her phoenix eyes coldly at the group of burly men before her.

“Su Wan, are you screwing with me?”

The leader, Liu Lao Liu, had a face full of coarse flesh and fierce tiger-like eyes.

His gaze swept greedily over Su Wan’s face.

She truly was a breathtaking beauty.

She possessed the refined grace that only noble young ladies raised in the capital could cultivate. Her waist was slender, her legs long, her figure tall and striking. Her glossy black hair framed her bright, exquisite features.

When she looked at someone, the corners of her eyes lifted slightly, making her appear proud, aloof, and captivating.

A beauty like this could beckon with a single finger, and men would throw themselves at her feet.

“If you don’t hand over those children today, you’ll pay off the debt with your own body!”

Liu Lao Liu licked the corner of his mouth with his thumb.

A beauty like her married to a sickly cripple like Gu Huaizhi…

What a waste.

If he took her back today, he’d have his fill of her first, then sell her to a brothel.

A freezing glint flashed through Su Wan’s eyes.

Without warning, she drove a kick straight into his stomach.

At the same time, the hoe smashed squarely into his face.

Liu Lao Liu let out a miserable scream, clutching his bleeding nose. Before he could recover, another blow struck his neck, knocking him heavily to the ground.

“Look at me like that again, and I’ll gouge your filthy eyes out.”

The head of the hoe came down three inches below his navel.

Liu Lao Liu howled in agony.

Su Wan sneered.

“Don’t think I don’t know what you’re planning. You lied to me, saying the children would be sold as servants to wealthy families, when all along you intended to sell them into brothels.”

“No! No! I didn’t!”

His face twisted in pain as beads of cold sweat poured down.

The devastating blow to his groin had nearly cost him half his life.

After finally catching his breath, he roared at the men behind him,

“Are you all dead? Get over here and help me!”

The others felt their scalps go numb.

Su Wan looked delicate enough, but every one of her strikes had been merciless.

Just hearing Liu Lao Liu’s screams made their own lower bodies ache in sympathy.

They instinctively squeezed their legs together.

Exchanging glances to bolster each other’s courage, they thought,

There’s no way a bunch of grown men can’t beat one woman… right?

Su Wan curled her red lips into a smile and shot them a sidelong glance.

The moment their eyes met hers, a chill crept into their hearts.

Their resolve instantly crumbled.

Each man discreetly covered his crotch before trying to reason with her.

“Madam Gu… how can you go back on your word? You’re the one who came to us wanting to sell the children. You took our money, and now you won’t hand them over. You’ve even beaten our boss half to death. That’s no way to do business!”

“Let’s… let’s just talk this over.”

“No need to resort to violence every time.”

“I’m not selling them anymore.”

Seeing that her display had successfully cowed the rest of them, Su Wan let out a cold laugh.

“I’ve got a bad temper.”

“I prefer using my fists instead of my words.”

She loosened her grip on the hoe and, borrowing the momentum, delivered a vicious kick from an impossible angle.

Liu Lao Liu was sent flying through the air.

He slammed into the wall before crashing onto the ground.

The impact felt as though every bone in his body had shattered.

He nearly blacked out, lying there unable to move.

The other men twitched visibly.

They swallowed hard in unison.

“We… we’re not buying them anymore!” they stammered together.
