Although Bai Yingxia’s current appearance had some resemblance to her face in the previous life, it was more beautiful, and her skin was so good. The downside was that her lips were swollen as if they had been stung by a poisonous bee.

She had no time to take a closer look at her face and quickly washed up. When she was done, she put on her clothes and tiptoed to get her bag and shoes.

She searched for a while and found a woman’s pouch filled with makeup, a mobile phone, a plane ticket, and a small wallet.Full novel: Transmigrated To The Apocalypse As A Mob Character — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

When she wanted to check the phone, the man on the bed stirred.

She couldn’t bring herself to face a stranger who had spent the night with her. The awkwardness and embarrassment would kill her on the spot. So, she put everything back in the pouch, wore her high heels, and left the room.

Taking the elevator, she reached the hotel’s lobby in a few minutes.

The moment she stepped out of the hotel, her mind went blank. Everything looked familiar yet unfamiliar to her. She walked along the road before she finally reached the bus stop.

Looking at the signboard, her heart skipped a beat.

First Ring Road, Yanjing City.

The name written on the signboard was something she had never heard of. "Where the hell am I right now?" she muttered with a pale face.

Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in her head. Crouching down, she held her head and bit her lips as she endured the pain.

Fifteen minutes later, the pain subsided, but a series of memories appeared in her head. These were not her memories but the memories of this body.

Both of them had similar names but different fates. "I’m fucked," she whispered in disbelief.

Bai Yingxia pushed herself up and sat at the bus stop to process the memories in her head. The memories, combined with her own memories, made her confused but also surprised.

It took her a long time to realize that she had transmigrated into an apocalypse novel she had read a long time ago.

Taking out her phone, she used face recognition to unlock the screen and saw the date. October 2nd, 2250.

It had been a long time since she read the book, and she no longer remembered the details. But she still recalled that the apocalypse happened on Christmas Eve.

She had less than 3 months to prepare before the apocalypse arrived. This was good news for her.

The first bad news was that her current body was just a no-name character, not even a passerby in the story. Her fate was unknown. So, knowing the plot couldn’t help her much besides predicting the main story direction.

The second bad news was that the original soul had squandered most of her parents’ inheritance, leaving her with only two villas in the suburban area, one apartment in the second ring road, two supermarkets, and 37% of the company’s shares.

She checked the money in her bank account and heaved a sigh of relief.

At least, the dividend the original soul received every year was more than enough to support her lavish lifestyle. There was more than 39 million left in her bank account.

She would only receive the dividend next year. But by then, the world would have changed, and that money would be nothing but a number. So, rather than waiting for the dividend, it was better to sell everything and use the money to buy food.

With this thought, she hailed a taxi and went to the hotel where she was staying. Her flight back to Yuegang City was less than three hours away.

The moment she arrived at the hotel, she packed up her luggage and checked out. Using an app similar to Didi, she called a car and went to the airport. As soon as she arrived, she checked in and waited in the waiting lounge.

At the same time, the man she had abandoned had finally woken up. Opening his eyes, he touched the spot beside him and frowned when he felt the coolness coming from the bed.

Sitting up, he looked around but didn’t see anyone else in the room besides himself. Thinking about the woman he spent the night with, he rubbed his face before getting out of bed.

As the blanket fell to the ground, his firm muscles and perfect figure were exposed to the sunlight. He was wearing nothing at all.

Picking up his underwear and pants from the floor, he put them on expressionlessly and went to the bathroom. After washing up, he finally put on his clothes and took his wallet and phone.

Before he left the room, something glistening under the bed caught his attention. He walked over and picked up the delicate anklet.

His fingers traced the anklet slowly as he recalled the woman’s soft, slender calf on his shoulder. He even kissed those cute little toes last night.

Just thinking about the feelings made a part of his body turn hard, and his blood boiled. He remembered her soul-stirring moans, soft body, and misty eyes as he pinned her beneath him.

He wondered if he would be able to meet her again and be intimate with her again.

When he was lost in his thoughts, his phone suddenly rang, startling him. He accepted the call and asked hoarsely, "Hello?"

After he said this, there was a long silence before a man’s voice was heard. "Captain, what happened to you? Are you sick? Your voice..."

Si Xuyan coughed to hide his embarrassment and replied calmly, "I caught a cold."

Hearing this, the other party stopped asking and said, "Captain, you need to come to the base as soon as possible."

"Did something happen?" Si Xuyan asked with a frown.

"I don’t know. The coach only told me to call you back."

After a moment of hesitation, Si Xuyan said, "I understand."

As he left the hotel room, he put the anklet in his wallet.

Although he was attracted to her, the possibility of them meeting again was almost zero. Since she left without a word, this was probably just a one-night stand for them.

What a pity.
