There were at least 17 white diamonds inside, with several types of gems and other colored diamonds mixed in the jewelry box. The gems’ clarity was good, and they could fetch a good price if she sold them later.

Bai Yingxia closed the box and opened another box. Inside the box, there was only one jade bangle placed at the center of the box.

The jade bangle was made of ice blue jade. From what she knew, ice blue jade was very rare, and it was found in Burma’s jade mines. Based on the look alone, this jade bangle would cost at least a few hundred million at an auction.Full novel: Transmigrated To The Apocalypse As A Mob Character — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

This was the first time she had seen a real ice blue jade bangle. In her previous life, she had only seen it once in the news. A tycoon from a foreign country bought it for 380 million at a charity auction.

Touching the cool, smooth surface, she couldn’t help but let out a sigh. It would be a pity to sell this beautiful bangle. But compared to a piece of beautiful accessory, hoarding more food was the wiser choice in the apocalypse.

The moment this thought flashed through her mind, she felt a sharp pain in her forefinger. Her fingertip was bleeding, and the blood had stained the jade bangle.

Fearing that the price of the bangle would drop if it was stained, she put it down and went to get a tissue. But the next second, she suddenly felt dizzy and closed her eyes.

When the dizziness subsided, and she opened her eyes, she was no longer inside her study room but standing in a strange place.

Her surroundings were covered with thick, white fog. In front of her, there was a plot of soil with an area of around 20 square meters, which was divided into 10 smaller plots. Behind her, there was a one-story house surrounded by white wooden fences around 1,5 meters tall.

Feeling curious, she walked into the house. The house had a front yard around 20 square meters in size. Since the door was unlocked, she pushed it open and walked in.

The house was neither big nor small. There was a living room, dining room, kitchen with complete kitchen appliances, a small bathroom near the laundry room, and two bedrooms.

The bedrooms were of different sizes. The one with a bigger area had a bathroom inside, complete with a bathtub and a walk-in closet. The smaller bedroom didn’t have a bathroom inside.

The house was fully furnished and ready for living. After she toured the house, she went to check the back of the house.

The moment Bai Yingxia opened the sliding door, she saw the thick fog 2 meters away.

Reaching out, she touched the fog, and the sensation was similar to touching jelly. As she pushed the fog, her hand bounced back. There was no way she could walk past the fog.

Bai Yingxia went to the plot of soil located on the left side, across from the house, and noticed a small boulder not far from it.

The boulder was a little bit taller than she was, around 175 centimeters. A stone bowl was carved at the bottom of the boulder with a diameter of around 30 centimeters and a depth of 20 centimeters.

From the boulder, a small stream of water flowed out and gathered into the stone bowl. The water was clean, and there was a faint minty, sweet scent coming from it.

Logically speaking, the water should have spilled out since the bowl was not big enough to collect the continuous stream of water. But no matter how much water went into the stone bowl, the surface level stayed the same.

Since she didn’t know what this place was, she didn’t dare to drink the water like those heroines in novels. Her current status was a no-name character.

Although she knew that this world was a fantasy novel world, she didn’t have the protagonist’s halo at all. What if she drank the water and ended up losing her life?

She wouldn’t take the risk.

With this thought in mind, she ignored the spring water and crouched beside the black soil.

She grabbed a handful and realized that the soil was not really black. Its color was actually a rich, dark brown. She squeezed the soil, and it held together. When she crushed it, it easily crumbled. It felt granular and loose.

Taking a sniff, it smelled fresh despite the earthy scent. It was also moist and looked wet. Although there were no weeds or earthworms on the black soil, she was sure that this patch of soil was very fertile.

Not far from the black soil area was a building that looked like a warehouse, which was located on the right side across from the house.

Since she didn’t feel any danger, she walked over and pushed the sliding door open.

The building was indeed a warehouse. Although it was only one story, the area inside was so vast that she felt dizzy. She didn’t know how big the warehouse was, but the ceiling was high and should be more than 10 meters.

After she checked everything, Bai Yingxia stood with her arms crossed and muttered softly, "Now, how do I get out of this place?"

As soon as she finished her words, her vision blurred, and she reappeared in the study room.

She looked around and raised her hands. If not for the soil inside her fingernails, she would have thought that she had been daydreaming just now.

Now that she had suddenly obtained a space, she needed to find out the space’s situation. Since she planned to hoard supplies, she needed to see if the warehouse could keep the items fresh.

Bai Yingxia went to the kitchen and poured three glasses of hot water. She stared at the water and thought about how to put them inside the space. The next moment, the glasses disappeared.

In less than a second, an image appeared in her mind. She saw the glasses appear in the area between the house and the black soil.

"Can this space be controlled with just my thoughts?"
