Tong Xiaoqian glanced down at what was beneath her—a washboard-like rib cage, nowhere near as comfortable to hug as Fei Niu.

She intended to jump up with a carp-flip move.

She put plenty of force into it, but the result was a loud cry: “Ow, ow, ow, it hurts! You’re crushing me!”Full novel: Transmigrating to the ’90s: The Crazy Couple’s International Dealer Journey — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Immediately following her cry, physiological tears welled up in her eyes.

With a slightly awkward expression on his face, Lei Yihong sat up; he hadn’t even realized when he had pinned down Tong Xiaoqian’s hair.

Tong Xiaoqian rubbed her intensely painful scalp, turned around, and glared at him with red eyes.

Looking at her reddened eyes, Lei Yihong figured her scalp must indeed hurt.

He turned his face away. “Look at where you ended up!”

Tong Xiaoqian turned her head to look and instantly felt in the wrong. She had slept entirely onto Lei Yihong’s mat, while Lei Yihong had almost been pushed off onto the floor by her.

Outside the door, the couple who were just about to call them up to get out of bed stood completely petrified.

Last night they still felt it was surreal, wondering if it was all a dream.

Their son had truly woken up, and he even had enough energy to go after the cabbage.

Though this green horn had no experience—had he pushed his wife to the point of turning fierce?

Wang Yumei slapped her thigh abruptly. No, that wasn’t right! She hurriedly knocked on the door. “Son, son, you are not allowed to bully Xiaoya! If… if she isn’t willing, don’t force things!”

Inside the room, Lei Yihong was also petrified. What did she mean by forcing things?

What had he even done to be forcing things?

The voice outside didn’t stop and kept going: “Son, stop right now, Mom is coming in!”

Wang Yumei truly pushed the door open and burst inside, rushing straight toward Tong Xiaoqian. Seeing her eyes still red, Wang Yumei immediately pulled her into an embrace with heartache, patting her. “Xiaoya, don’t be afraid, Mom is right here…”

She raised her hand to hit Lei Yihong, but remembering her son had just woken up, she couldn’t bear to do it, ultimately landing a light, painless slap. “All those years of school went to waste! Xiaoya is already married to you, what’s the rush? Besides, you haven’t fully recovered from your illness yet, you need to rest up… give Xiaoya some time to prepare mentally…”

Lei Yihong finally understood what she was talking about—she actually took him for a pervert!

Glimpsing Tong Xiaoqian lying in Wang Yumei’s arms with a gloating smile, he gritted his teeth and said, “I’m not desperate enough to be that indiscriminate!”

When these words came out, Wang Yumei grew even angrier. “What are you saying?”

She thought her son was looking down on having been found a foolish wife.

She originally thought that even if her son woke up, he couldn’t possibly have the stamina to do anything bad right away, but to her surprise, he actually could!

Men really only stay truly well-behaved when they’re hanging on the wall!

“Alright, alright, hurry up and wash up for breakfast…” Lei Wanqiang quickly came up to act as the peacemaker, whispering in his wife’s ear, “I’ll talk to our son in a bit.”

Wang Yumei looked at her son again, and seeing his still pale face, her heart softened. “Son, how are you feeling?”

Lei Yihong took a breath. “Much better.”

Although he had accepted reality, emotionally he had not yet integrated into this family.

For the time being, he couldn’t accept suddenly having another pair of parents.

Wang Yumei continued to ask, “Should I bring your meal into the room? Or will you eat out in the outer room?”

It took Lei Yihong a moment to dig out from the original body’s memories that “outer room” meant the kitchen.

“I won’t eat in the room.”

Wang Yumei nodded and looked at him carefully again. He must indeed be doing much better, if he was already thinking about groping a woman.

The couple went out first and closed the door.
