Uncle Qin had already left a message saying he would go to the property center early in the morning to handle the transfers, so Nan Mo rested directly inside the space.

The bedroom in the space had already been made with clean bedding. She set an alarm and slept there for ten hours. Outside, only one hour passed.

She needed proper rest to stockpile efficiently. Thinking about the next day’s plans, she soon drifted into sleep.Full novel: Tricked Into Transmigration: She Held the Script and Stockpiled for the 1970s — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

When the alarm rang, she was already awake. She lay in bed for a moment before remembering she had slept in the space.

After washing up, she walked to the warehouse door and opened it to look at the goods stacked inside.

So many supplies filled the Nan family warehouse to the brim before, yet here they occupied only one corner.

Since everything had already been sorted before being stored, she now only needed to separate cooked food from raw food.

After drinking some spirit spring water to refresh herself, she left the space. She glanced at the clock on her bedroom wall. It was only a little past five, and dawn had not fully broken yet.

She decided that until transmigration happened, she would sleep inside the space. Adequate rest was important, but stockpiling time was even more important.

Taking advantage of the time, she placed all her toiletries, skincare products, and cosmetics into the bathroom and vanity inside the space.

Then she moved the clothes, bags, and accessories from her dressing room into the space’s wardrobe, arranging them according to her usual habits.

After two hours of busy work, her room contained little besides furniture.

While tidying, she was surprised to discover her strength had increased significantly. She could even move a safe weighing nearly a hundred jin.

She had no time to dwell on it. It was already eight. She returned to the space to shower and wash her hair again, tossing the clothes she had changed out of into the washing machine there.

When she left her room, she locked the door behind her. Downstairs, she saw Uncle Qin and listened while eating breakfast as he reported the results of the previous day’s purchasing arrangements.

The numbers he listed were even higher than those on her checklist. He had also bought additional grains, oils, and vegetables she had not thought of. Nan Mo was very satisfied.

“Good. You can handle this part of the purchasing however you see fit. If there’s anything I missed, just decide and buy it.”

She added, “By the way, Uncle Qin, please tell the servants they don’t need to clean my room from now on.” She gave him a look that said he understood.

He nodded and passed along the instructions.

Soon the two of them arrived at the property center with the documents. The procedures went quickly. After the transfers were completed and final payments settled, Uncle Qin was about to leave to arrange purchasing.

Nan Mo stopped him. “Uncle Qin, wait.”

She took out two more property certificates from her bag and pulled him to the counter, asking the staff to process the transfers.

“Miss…” Uncle Qin realized her intention and tried to stop her.

“Uncle Qin, the house on Chengxi Road was left by Grandpa. He treated you like his own child when he was alive. Now it’s yours.”

“No. The old master never treated me unfairly. The sir and madam already gave me so much. I can’t…” he refused immediately.

“Uncle Qin, listen to me. The villa in Yueting is where we lived for more than twenty years. It’s our shared home.

“I don’t know when I’ll leave. I’m transferring both properties to you now. Protect them for us. Don’t refuse, alright?”

Before he could answer, she tugged him along and finished the transfer procedures.

As if afraid he might say more, she waved and hurried off in her car.

Before leaving, she stuffed a list into his hand. It was a list of medicines.

She had found it in the study. It had originally been a supply list for a newly opened top tier hospital the previous year.

Aside from certain large specialized medical equipment, it covered nearly everything.

Nan Mo knew this deal had been handled by Uncle Qin before. Giving it to him now was perfect.

Looking at the two freshly issued property certificates and the list in his hand, Uncle Qin silently swore he would protect the master and madam’s home for the rest of his life, and guard the young lady’s unbelievable secret as well.

Meanwhile, Nan Mo had already arrived at the largest shopping center in Shanghai. After parking in the basement, she took the elevator straight to the top floor.

The entire top level was filled with exquisite restaurants. Nearly all of Shanghai’s top ranked establishments were there.

It was still early, and none of the restaurants had opened yet. Only staff were inside cleaning and setting tables, while chefs prepared ingredients in the kitchens.

Using the excuse of a company gathering, she selected several restaurants she often visited from among Chinese, Western, Thai, Japanese, and Korean cuisines, ordering thirty portions of every signature dish from each.

She left her contact information and arranged for delivery to the basement parking lot in three hours. She would tell them the exact location then.

After arranging this, she took the escalator down, calling a car rental company as she walked. She asked them to deliver two cargo capable vans to the parking lot, one to be parked at Elevator No. 1 on Basement Level One and the other at Elevator No. 1 on Basement Level Two. Once parked, the drivers could leave.

If she had known how to drive a truck, she would not have needed such trouble.

With three hours to spare, she decided to sweep through the floors below and shop nonstop.

The eighth floor was the home textiles section. Bedding sets of every pattern and size, four piece, six piece, eight piece, silk, Tencel, cotton, cashmere, buy.

Down quilts, soybean quilts, silk quilts, summer quilts, cashmere blankets, wool blankets, electric blankets, buy.

Cushions, seat pads, pillows of all sizes and kinds, buy.

She told the clerks to let the cashiers tally the receipts slowly and called for the mall manager.

She instructed him to gather all the receipts from each floor at the first floor counter so she could pay the totals floor by floor. Time was precious. Efficiency had to be maximized.

The seventh floor was appliances. Although the space already had many major appliances, they might break someday, so she bought without restraint.

Refrigerators, freezers, steam ovens, ovens, washing machines, dryers, sterilizing cabinets, she bought them all.

Rice cookers, induction stoves, soup makers, mixers, soy milk machines, high speed blenders, air fryers, automatic woks, multi cook pots, coffee machines, and every kind of kitchen appliance went into her cart as well.

Garment steamers, mopping machines, robot vacuums, mite removers, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, and hair dryers, she bought those too.

At two major electronics brand stores, she bought one hundred of the latest phones, fifty large capacity tablets, fifty top capacity laptops, two hundred wired earphones, one hundred Bluetooth earphones, and fifty printers that could operate offline.

For items out of stock, she told the managers to contact other branches in the city. She also bought out all available ink cartridges, pigments, and power banks across every store.

The sixth floor was the children’s section. Although she had already bought plenty at Huatian Department Store a few days earlier, that did not diminish her urge when she saw these adorable items.

Shoes, socks, pants, skirts, innerwear, outerwear, gloves, hats, scarves. She visited seven or eight shops and cleared out all their off season stock.

The fifth floor was sportswear. She selected several simple and comfortable sneakers, buying every size from 35 to 44 before leaving.

The fourth floor was men’s clothing. She chose over a dozen stylish wool coats and suits, and bought out all simple style cashmere and wool sweaters.

Seeing a shop selling men’s underwear, she bought all the unbranded ones in the store, sizes 180 to 190. They would fit her father and brother perfectly.

The third floor was women’s clothing. Nan Mo had always had her own consistent taste in dress.

Anyone who knew her would notice that regardless of season, her clothing styles hardly changed. They were almost always simple, clean, and comfortable.

Both the original Nan Mo and the current Nan Mo shared bright, striking looks, yet their temperament was carefree and relaxed.

Not only that, while organizing the wardrobe that morning, she had realized their tastes were astonishingly identical. So she hardly needed to buy anything more.
