“You’ll find out in a moment.” Su Yuqing didn’t even look up, her hands moving so fast they seemed to leave afterimages.

He Suyan gave Su Yuqing a deep look and leaned in closer.

About five or six minutes later, the corner of her mouth lifted, and her slender, fair fingers pressed the final key. “Done.”Full novel: Truth System: I Became the Top Star of Reverse Talent Scouting — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

She took a data cable, plugged it into the computer, and connected it to her phone.

Beep…

Fu Jin looked at her phone, his eyes widening involuntarily. “This… this…”

“How did you do that?” He suddenly turned to look at Su Yuqing, his gaze filled with astonishment. Did she have such high-tech skills?

“Just like that. You saw it, didn’t you?” Su Yuqing raised an eyebrow.

“…”

He Suyan chuckled softly. “What do you plan to do? Release these photos and videos?”

Su Yuqing had just used hacking skills to steal photos and videos from Jiang Chenan’s phone, along with some chat records, though she hadn’t looked at them in detail.

“Naturally. Didn’t they say I was lying? I’ll give them some evidence.”

“Thanks for the computer. See you tomorrow.” She stood up, waved her phone, raised her beautiful eyes, and gracefully walked away.

“Need help? My PR team can lend you a hand.” A glint flashed in He Suyan’s eyes.

“Lend it to me?” Su Yuqing stopped in her tracks and silently looked at He Suyan. “Conditions.”

There’s no such thing as a free lunch, and even if there were, it wouldn’t land on her.

“Care to sit down and discuss?”

Su Yuqing pondered for a moment before sitting down on the nearby sofa.

Fu Jin exchanged glances, opened his mouth, but swallowed his words under He Suyan’s gaze.

He Suyan took a bottle of milk from the nearby fridge and handed it to Su Yuqing. “Have something to drink first.”

Su Yuqing: “…”

Fu Jin was taken aback, only then remembering that Su Yuqing was just a girl under eighteen.

So, who taught her that skill just now?

“You go out first.”

Fu Jin was confused. “Me?”

He Suyan nodded. “Yes, you go out first. We have something to discuss.”

Fu Jin, “…” Do you even know who the outsider is here?

Besides, his room is right here. Where is he supposed to go?

This was a suite with three rooms. Fu Jin and He Suyan’s assistant also lived here, though his assistant had taken leave for family matters the past two days.

In the end, Fu Jin was still kicked out.

He Suyan sat down opposite Su Yuqing. The girl looked calm, her eyes clear and without a trace of panic.

Her slightly moist gaze fell on him, waiting for him to continue.

“What you did just now… was impressive.” His eyes held sincerity.

“Thanks for the compliment.” Su Yuqing unscrewed the bottle cap and took a sip of milk.

He Suyan was taken aback, then cleared his throat and chuckled softly. “Huatai isn’t suitable for you. If you stay there, you’ll never have a chance to shine.”

“Yeah, the next step is to get kicked out of the entertainment industry.”

“You’re not someone who gives up easily.”

Su Yuqing raised an eyebrow. “So, you’re willing to sign me?”

He Suyan owned an entertainment company, which could be considered a leader in the industry. Everyone in the entertainment world was eager to join, and the signing conditions were strict, but the top-tier resources made it highly sought after.

“Alright.” He Suyan nodded without hesitation. “I’ll cover Huatai’s penalty fee, and I’ll handle the Su family too.”

If it were anyone else, the Su family would never let Su Yuqing off so easily.

“Paying such a high price—I don’t think I’m worth that much to you, He Shen.” Su Yuqing was clear-headed.

For an eighteen-year-old girl to maintain such clarity of mind made He Suyan look at her with renewed admiration.

“Of course, it’s because you have value. From now on, you’ll be my person.”

“Ahem, you shouldn’t say things like that carelessly.”

“My apologies for not explaining clearly. From now on, you’ll be working for me. Don’t worry, I won’t make things difficult for you. At most, I’ll ask for your help once a month. The agreement will last for three years. After three years, I’ll set you free.” He Suyan curled his lips, the corners of his eyes slightly upturned with a captivating charm.

Su Yuqing calmly averted her gaze and remained silent for a moment.

Three years…

Considering she currently lacked the ability to confront the Su and Jiang families—both of whom would never let her go—finding a powerful ally to shelter under for now wasn’t a bad idea.

“Host, agreeing to this won’t harm you,” the long-absent mechanical voice chimed in.

“Shut up,” Su Yuqing retorted inwardly, annoyed.

She then turned to He Suyan. “Fine. The contract expires in three years.”

He Suyan suddenly broke into a genuine smile, his eyes lighting up. The first step was a success.

“I’ll have Fu Jin handle the Huatai matter. The Su family won’t interfere.”

Su Yuqing didn’t ask how he planned to deal with it. She nodded and stood up. “Alright, then I’ll wait for the contract.”

“Oh, there’s one more thing…” He Suyan thought for a moment before speaking again. “Never mind, we can talk about it later.”

They hadn’t signed the contract yet. What if she ran away?

Su Yuqing felt something was off, but considering she had nothing to her name now, she didn’t dwell on it.

“If this gets leaked, it’ll definitely cause an uproar,” she said, shaking her phone.

“You can hand it over to Fu Jin to handle, but I want half the fee.”

Fu Jin would never let his own people leak it; he’d definitely keep himself clean. So, selling the videos and photos to Jiang Chenan’s rivals was the best option.

“You can have it all,” He Suyan chuckled.

“Then I won’t stand on ceremony,” Su Yuqing replied with a smile. “I’ll take my leave now. See you tomorrow.”

“See you tomorrow.”

He Suyan saw her out. At the door, Fu Jin looked at them with resentment.

“…Have you been waiting here the whole time?”

“Where else could I go? Are you done talking?” Fu Jin grumbled, curious about what the two had discussed.

He Suyan didn’t respond. If he had known earlier that he wouldn’t mention the last part, it wouldn’t have mattered if Fu Jin was present.

Su Yuqing bid farewell to the two and returned to her room. Not long after, the hotel delivered food.

She swiped through her phone and sent the photos and videos to He Suyan—they had already exchanged WeChat contacts earlier.

The next day, Su Yuqing woke up at 6:30 a.m. She washed her face, applied a bit of moisturizer, didn’t put on makeup, tied her hair into a high ponytail, and wore a loose T-shirt and sweatpants.

Then she went to the fifth floor for a quick bite.

When she arrived at the practice room, Gu Zhan and He Suyan hadn’t arrived yet.

“You’re quite diligent, coming so early,” the assistant director monitoring the camera rubbed his eyes.

Huh?

He widened his eyes suspiciously. Su Yuqing was walking on the ice as if it were solid ground.

After taking a closer look, he twitched his lips but didn’t say anything more.

With towels tied to their shoes, they could only walk on the ice—dancing was impossible.

Su Yuqing had been practicing for half an hour when Gu Zhan and He Suyan arrived one after the other.

“You came so early?” He Suyan’s tone was much more familiar than yesterday, which puzzled Gu Zhan.

“Yeah, I had to… What else could I do? Director Lin is such a dog. I don’t want to be pointed at and kicked out of the entertainment industry.”

Su Yuqing gritted her teeth. “System, you’re asking for it!”
