Now Slaughter!
this walk was to find anyone willing to sell any kind of plant that is nutrient dense and could provide a quick start to my martial journey.
and wouldn’t you know, Beans!
they were an unknown species to him, as he was a bean enthusiast.
you heard that right, you might be thinking, why beans?
well, I am a prankster at heart~ one time, I loaded an entire locker with beans, filled someone’s bathtub with beans, loaded a shampoo bottle with mushed up beans, anything to make everyone angry, and question why, revolved around beans.
to the point where I got curious and went on a goose chase, and rabbit hole on what beans are, and how to cultivate them.
that resulted in me planting beans in everyone’s backyard, with them not knowing until it was too late.
so, I know beans.
and this Bean plant on the ground is no bean plant i have seen.
so, he opened it up, inspected it, it being a bush bean rather than a pole bean.
it somehow resembled black turtle and Jacobs Cattle beans.
you uproot it, and take it home, where I start farming it.
and the bean continued to grow, and at a visible speed??
it got me confused but I let it be.
and after that, he decided to go back into the caves for another 4 hours.
there is a toll fee for entering the cave, which was 5 copper, which is a cart of stone.
and this time, with my new understanding, being almost double, last time, I started progressing and mining at a faster rate!

‘perfect!’ not only was it exactly what he needed, the Fungal nature of the plant made it spread its spores around, growing more and more Beans, filling up his entire Courtyard!
“what is that?” Ma Ying asked, pretty confused at what I was eating.
“its food that is good for you.
we’ll have it everyday with rice now ok~” “wait really!!” Ma Yan jumped out of somewhere hanging up side down on the roof.
“of course dears~” I pull him down and start harvesting the original plant.
the original plant had more than 30 pods, and after cooking them, we mixed it with the rice and started eating.
it was one of the better meals he had in this world, and the looks on his siblings faces made it seem like they really enjoyed it~ not to mention that he splurged today as well, buying pork knuckles for them to eat!
‘why you might ask?

after a while longer, a few of the men decided to head back home, after being drunk for a while, they had some axes and some swords, but were slurring words, and stumbling around the place.
and fortunately for Ma Qing and unfortunately for them, they were about to go through the area of the slums he lived in~ they walked through the long roads, each window and door shut completely, so that no one would have any thieves or see something they shouldn’t see.
than SHLICK a saber stabbed in a back, and through one of the drunks!
immediately the others sobered up, but the saber was immediately ripped out and was swung to another man!
that man dodged, pulling out his sword, but than- CRACK a pickaxe went straight through his head!
than it was violently ripped out, parrying a strike the last axe wielder had with the chisel side of the pick!
“YOU GONNA PA-” but before he could finish those words, the saber was thrown at his face, but as he dodged, FRISCH the Pickaxe’s pointed end went through his throat, as he slowly, lost his life..
this time, he only searched them for money and took their weapons.
leaving in a hurry.
the next day, people were screaming and shouting, a few gang members wanted people to fess up, but no one could.
Ma Qing covered his face, and lobbed off peoples head with different weapons for each one.
and the prizes he got were worth while!
a Sword, Axe, and 2 Sabers!
not to mention at least 5 Taels of silver!
