The steady drum of the Tokyo rain against the cheap windowpane did little to wash away the heavy, charged silence in the dark apartment.

Kenji lay completely rigid on his side, his back pressed flush against the icy wallpaper. The contrast couldn't have been more extreme. Pressed against his chest and stomach was the blistering, intoxicating heat of the Fifth Hokage. Even lying on her back, the sheer, cursed mass of her permanently engorged breasts spilled outward, the heavy, flush-pink flesh brushing directly against his uniform shirt with every breath she took.

He couldn't sleep. His body was physically exhausted, drained from the intense climax earlier, but his mind was racing at a million miles an hour.Full novel: Tsunade Senju Is My Stepmom — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Near the edge of the pillow, the sleek black phone pulsed with a faint, rhythmic golden glow, like a sleeping heartbeat.

Kenji carefully reached out, his knuckles brushing against Tsunade’s bare, milk-scented shoulder. She let out a soft murmur but didn't pull away. He grabbed the phone and brought it between them, the screen illuminating their faces in the cramped darkness.

"I can't stop thinking about it," Kenji whispered, his voice trembling slightly in the quiet room.

Tsunade cracked one amber eye open. She looked at the glowing device, her golden eyebrows knitting together. The exhaustion in her face was evident, but her Kage-level instincts were still razor-sharp.

"It's a terrifying piece of hardware," she agreed, her voice a low, raspy rumble that vibrated through the tatami mats directly into Kenji’s bones.

"It's not just hardware," Kenji swallowed hard, scrolling aimlessly through the [Task Board]. "Tsunade-san... I'm scared. I really am. I thought it was just a degenerate gacha game. But it pulled you out of an entirely different universe. It prints flawlessly minted legal tender out of thin air. It gave you back fifteen percent of a mystical energy that doesn't even exist on this planet."

He paused, his eyes darting down to the colossal, pale mounds of flesh resting heavily against her ribs.

"And... it completely rewrote your biology," Kenji added, his voice dropping to a whisper. "It bypassed your immune system, your chakra, everything, just to force a physical curse on you. What kind of machine has that kind of power?"

Tsunade shifted slightly. The heavy, fluid movement of her cursed chest brushed agonizingly against his arm. She reached out, placing her warm, slender hand directly over his on the phone.

"I've fought demigods, Kenji," Tsunade said quietly, her amber eyes locking onto his with absolute, deadly seriousness. "I've seen jutsu that can level mountains and revive the dead. But you're right. This isn't chakra. This is absolute, reality-warping authority. It dictates the rules of the universe, and we are just pieces on its board."

"Should we... should we destroy it?" Kenji asked, his thumb hovering over the sleek, port-less edge of the device. "If we smash the screen, or throw it in the river... maybe it breaks the tether. Maybe you go home, and I just go back to being broke."

Tsunade’s grip on his hand tightened instantly. It wasn't enough to hurt him, but the sheer, titanium-crushing potential behind her fingers made Kenji freeze.

"Absolutely not," Tsunade commanded, her voice dropping into a dangerous, authoritative hiss. "Listen to me, brat. When you are dealing with a sealing tag or an artifact of unknown, god-level power, the last thing you do is hit it with a hammer."

She moved closer, her massive, bare chest squishing heavily against his side, forcing him to focus entirely on her words.

"We don't know the parameters of the tether," she explained, her breath hot against his cheek. "If the phone is the anchor keeping me in this dimension, smashing it might not send me home. It might rip my atoms apart. It might throw me into a void. Or worse—it might kill you, since your life force is tied to the system as the 'User'. If this thing has the power to permanently alter my anatomy in seconds, we do not test its self-destruct mechanism."

Kenji shuddered. The thought of Tsunade being ripped apart, or himself just ceasing to exist in this tiny apartment, sent a spike of ice water through his veins.

"So we just... play its game?" Kenji asked, sounding incredibly small.

"For now. We play the game, we farm the points, and we survive," Tsunade said fiercely. "Until we have enough power to flip the board."

Kenji looked back down at the screen. He tapped the [User Profile] tab.

At the top, it read: [Current Status: Level 2 - Novice].

Driven by a sudden, morbid curiosity about how deep this rabbit hole went, Kenji placed his thumb on the glass and started scrolling down the progression tree.

Level 10... Level 25... Level 50.

The screen blurred as he scrolled faster and faster, bypassing hundreds of locked skills, mysterious empty silhouettes of other women, and redacted system features. The deeper he went, the darker the interface became, shifting from pink and gold to a deep, abyssal black.

He hit the absolute bottom of the screen.

For a fraction of a second, a line of text flickered in blood-red font.

[Level 100: DEVELOPER ACCESS - OVERRIDE C——]

Kenji blinked. The screen violently glitched, a sharp burst of static tearing across the glass.

When his eyes refocused, the text was completely gone. The screen had forced itself back to the top of the page: [Current Status: Level 2 - Novice].

"Did you see that?" Kenji gasped, his heart leaping into his throat.

"See what?" Tsunade frowned, her eyes heavy with exhaustion. "The screen just glitched."

Kenji stared at the glass. Developer. The word echoed in his mind. It meant someone made this. Someone was watching. But the sheer weight of the day, the adrenaline crash, and the intoxicating warmth of the woman pressed against him made it impossible to process. His brain simply refused to compute the existential dread.

"Never mind," Kenji muttered, clicking the phone off and tossing it onto the floorboards. "It was just a glitch."

He let his head fall back onto the thin pillow. The darkness of the room swallowed them once more, save for the faint neon glow from the window.

Tsunade didn't question it. She was too tired. Instead, she shifted her weight, rolling completely onto her side to face him. The movement caused her colossal, cursed breasts to spill heavily onto his chest, the blistering heat and soft, heavy mass acting like a weighted blanket. She draped her powerful arm over his waist, pulling him securely against her wide hips.

"Stop worrying, brat," Tsunade whispered, her maternal instincts completely taking over as she rested her chin on his shoulder. "Whatever this system is, whoever made it... they have to get through me first. Just go to sleep."

Kenji closed his eyes. Buried in the terrifyingly heavy, warm embrace of the Fifth Hokage, the fear of the system slowly faded, replaced by the rhythm of her heartbeat.
