The Yasakani no Magatama (Eight Jewels Magatama) unique to the Susanoo has power roughly equivalent to an S-rank ninjutsu.

In the original history, during the Fourth Shinobi War, the combined efforts of Itachi, Naruto, and Killer Bee were needed to counter Nagato’s Chibaku Tensei using magatama, Rasenshuriken, and a miniature Tailed Beast Bomb, respectively.

Fanma knew that if he took the full brunt of the magatama, he would fall into a disadvantageous spiral from which he might never recover.Full novel: Uchiha Clan’s Supreme Master — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Setsuna was forcing his Susanoo to its limits, spraying the saturation-bombing magatama from his katana’s sweep, his vision now almost entirely blurred.

Fanma took a casual glance at the black hawk circling in the sky, calculating the distance and timing.

As another wave of magatama surged toward him, Fanma feigned exhaustion.

He intentionally allowed himself to be struck by a string of them, triggering violent explosions that masked his figure in smoke.

Tsunade, seeing Fanma struck, didn’t hesitate for a second.

She used a Body Flicker to charge into the smoke, giving him no room to breathe.

Fanma looked slightly disheveled—the chest guard of his blood-armor was cracked; the Susanoo’s attack power was, without question, among the best in the “Kage” tier.

Seeing Tsunade charging toward him, Fanma smiled.

To protect his hawk, he retreated with long, deliberate strides, choosing not to strike back at Setsuna.

Tsunade stuck to him like a shadow, unleashing a “Strength of a Hundred” punch aimed straight at Fanma.

The irony was that in this battle, Fanma was only forced into a corner—and susceptible to Tsunade’s pincer attacks—when he had to dodge the magatama to close in on Setsuna.

If Fanma simply refused to engage the Susanoo, his speed made him untouchable to Tsunade.

Fanma began to “kite” her with subtle, calculated speed.

Utilizing his superior mobility, he landed sharp, quick strikes to wear down her stamina.

While light punches weren’t lethal, and Tsunade’s healing made “winning by attrition” impossible, the psychological toll was immense!

Fanma dodged her hook, landed a punch on her shoulder, and immediately retreated with a casual smile.

He flicked in close, landed a jab to her chest, and apologized with a grin before backing away again.

Tsunade was burning with frustration.

This wasn’t combat; it was harassment.

Her face darkened; she was reaching her breaking point.

“Summoning Jutsu!” Three giant slugs appeared on the field.

This was the current Tsunade—backed by the Mangekyo’s power and her own Senju heritage, she could burn chakra recklessly, summoning three massive creatures at once.

“Lady Katsuyu, please use your acid to seal off this training ground!” Because both parties were elite Konoha powerhouses, no formal rules had been set for this selection—everything was left to their discretion.

But it was unspoken that if Tsunade sealed the entire arena, Fanma couldn’t simply retreat out of bounds.

As the giant slugs sprayed thick, corrosive mucus, the ground began to hiss and melt.

The arena was slowly being blanketed in yellow-green liquid.

Fanma looked at the sludge under his feet and chuckled—to limit his speed, Tsunade was willing to ignore the consequences.

He moved forward, initiating a straight punch toward Tsunade.

Her eyes lit up; she had been waiting for this.

After being buffed by the Mangekyo and the slugs, she felt she finally held the edge in raw power.

“BOOM!” The collision of their fists sounded like a thunderclap.

Fanma smiled, looking at the distant Setsuna—who was shielding his eyes—and the black hawk circling 200 meters above, carrying a massive stone slab.

It was time for his winning tactic!

The hawk spread its wings, dragging the massive stone slab, and began a steep dive toward Setsuna.

Setsuna, clutching his eyes which were bleeding out tears of blood, found maintaining Tsunade’s buffs a heavy burden.

He squinted at the hawk, dismissive.

Is this stupid summon trying to crush me with a rock?

He simply manipulated the Susanoo to lift the katana slightly, waiting for the bird to deliver itself to its death.

The blood-red lightning armor on Fanma’s body dimmed significantly.

He intentionally surrendered his momentum, taking a punch from Tsunade head-on to launch himself backward.

Tsunade looked on, surprised and exhilarated—The Mangekyo’s boost to me is truly immense!

She flicked toward him in pursuit, leaving her position further and further away from Setsuna.

Fanma, flying backward, wore a triumphant grin.

His plan was complete.

He called this move the “Budget, Manual, Slow-Motion Flying Raijin!” As the hawk and the stone slab fell, the hawk’s wings folded in a humanoid motion, mimicking the hand seals of a ninja.

“Ninjutsu: Summoning Jutsu!” A puff of smoke erupted, and Fanma appeared on the back of the hawk.

At that moment, he was only 100 meters from Setsuna!

Fanma looked at the Uchiha, gathered his remaining chakra, braced his feet against the stone slab, and launched himself like a railgun projectile toward his opponent!

Tsunade watched in stunned silence.

Summons capable of swapping places with their masters weren’t uncommon—any Uchiha ninja cat could perform a reverse summoning if the contract allowed.

But no one used it as a combat technique because, limited by the summon’s chakra and quality, the success rate for distances over a few kilometers was zero.

It was a game children played.

But now, Fanma only needed one chance to face Setsuna head-on to seal his victory!

Setsuna saw the projectile hurtling toward him.

His right eye whirled frantically; the Mangekyo surged with chakra, forcing his Susanoo to evolve further.

He ignored the blood streaming into his mouth and laughed aloud.

“Come!

Junior!

This is a real battle!” The blood-armor on Fanma’s body melted and reshaped into a magnificent blood-axe.

His muscles coiled like steel, his spine arched in a predatory curve—terrifying power was being concentrated into a single point.

“—BOOM!!!” Before the Susanoo could armor itself in the Crow Tengu mantle, Fanma descended from the heavens.

The snowy-white katana and the blood-axe collided.

Unfortunately, the Second Form of the Susanoo could not halt Fanma’s momentum for a microsecond.

The white Susanoo was like melting ice cream, cleaved clean through by the blood-drenched axe!

The axe reverted to armor, covering Fanma.

He landed a front-kick that sent Setsuna flying, pursued him instantly, and delivered a vicious hook to the old man’s temple!

“—Swish.” The wind from the punch blew back Setsuna’s hair, transforming his disheveled bangs into a comical slicked-back hairstyle.

The two stood in silence.

Fanma patted Setsuna on the shoulder.

“Clan Head, the Third Hokage said it best: the appearance of talented young people is a sign of prosperity.” He gathered medical chakra in his palm, gently repairing the bones and meridians he had just fractured—as a taijutsu master, setting bones was his specialty.

Looking at Setsuna’s tattered robes and face drenched in blood, Fanma sighed.

“Clan Head, I understand.

I understand the power of the Uchiha’s ocular jutsu.

I will go back and study it.

You should step down now.” Setsuna didn’t answer, his gaze locked onto Fanma’s physical form.

After a long pause, he said, powerlessly, “I understand.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS dead_soul19 Want More Chapters?
