"So you’re finally leaving us behind?"
"I am, yes, Aunt Eunji."
Suho was seated with Director Eunji alone in her office. The atmosphere felt heavy to Suho for some reason. Although there was this mission and Gunwo telling him what to do, he was an awkward person and didn’t know how to ask for a hug.
Gunwo already took Mina home in his car and left Suho to deal with Eunji. Gunwo also promised Mina that he would bring her to Seoul to meet him in a week, and then she stopped crying.
"Are you going to come as well with Mina and Uncle Gunwo?"
"Do you want me to come?"
"I...I mean, if you are free, you can...take Mina together, that will be good for her."
"And what will be good for you?"
"Me?...Yes...I guess, I would love to see you."
Eunji stood up and looked outside, but this time before she could take a tissue in hand, her eyes betrayed her and two teardrops fell onto the ground, followed by a continuous downpour.
"Why?"
Suho couldn’t understand why Director Eunji would cry when he was going away. Sure, he was close with her and she helped him out, but she should be happy, right? He was finally going away, one less mouth to feed.
"Why? Well...Sniff...it’s been tough on you, being under my care. You were so little when a church nun delivered you here in a plastic basket. I was the caregiver that picked you up. That nun always felt somewhat weird, so I rarely let her meet you."
"Back then I was newly married to Gunwo, feels like an eternity has passed. You grew up to be a fine young man. I hope you find more goodness in people and love yourself more."
Suho walked up to her and was not sure what to say. She was someone who he rarely cared for, but she was always there for him, from when he didn’t understand anything to when he ranked first in the Olympiad. Eunji was the person who asked what he wanted as a present.
"I... I feel like it’s hard for me to breathe, is it a condition I’ve developed?"
Suho’s choking voice and weird question made Eunji smile, and as she smiled, Suho wrapped his arms around her gently. Her whole body trembled a little, but she patted his back lightly.
"When you feel tired or need someone to talk to, come back home, not here. There’s a Suho’s room in our house."
"I...Snifff...Yeah, I will. My nose is a little runny these days."
Suho took a step back and wiped the tears from her face, then smiled at her. She smiled and finally nodded her head as if she gave him permission to move out.
"Go, you will miss your train, and you’re such a big boy and still crying."
Eunji sat back on her chair while Suho went to the door and, after bowing deeply once, left her sight as an orphanage resident. Then he went to the caregiver’s corner and met everyone who was available for the final time.
Then he wrote a note with the Universal coupon book for Eunji and handed it to Minjun. Minjun thought it was a color book for Mina, so he happily accepted it. Suho wrote down Park Jiho’s number and also told her to use it exactly as it should be used. There was no explanation of how he got it though.
Then he went to the children’s wing. There were exactly eighteen little kids, seven or younger, in it, and he gave each one fifty thousand ₩ ($35) as a parting gift, which he got from Gunwo. He had enough money, so the kids could eat something nice for once.
"Oppa, you’re leaving?"
When he turned around, he saw the two people he didn’t want to, two girls, almost the same looking, fourteen-year-old twins. He had helped them out before, but they were what he would call ’Too mature for their age’.
"Yes, I am leaving."
"Without a hug?"

"Here, take a hundred thousand and concentrate on studying. If we ever meet, I hope to see you two do well. I don’t say this to everyone, but both of you are very good at studying, so keep at it."
Suho placed the last two notes he had in their hands and walked back to his room. He understood he had gotten ten new phones, so he could give one to Daji and one to Minjun.
They can notify me if they need something, System.

I only need three pieces now, what do I do? And I don’t even know what that Genesis is.
System’s screen refreshed as soon as he thought about that. It went from [Tap here to get rewards.] to [Tap here only to get partial rewards.]
It’s...rather convenient.
He pressed on the new button and three extremely slim rectangular boxes appeared in his hand. Seeing the thin boxes, he remembered a YouTube video where such expensive phones don’t come with chargers anymore.
Damn! They will buy one, right? Or am I burdening them with these phones?
Suho, seeing there were two white and one silver, decided to keep the silver one for himself and gave out the white ones.
"Silver Shadow? Why not only Silver?"
Suho shook his head at the naming sense of this company, then looked at the room he had stayed in for years and left only half an hour ago. There was already a sticker on his half-burnt cabinet.
So, someone is already moving in? Sigh!
Suho didn’t have anything to take as he walked to the caregiver’s corner for one last time before heading out without looking back. There were no clothes in his hands, nor was there any bag, just three boxes.
...
"Thess...these phones are too expensive, Suho."
"I earned a bit of money, just take care of the kids and call me if you ever need anything, and give this one to Daji. Although I was hoping he would personally take care of Mina, that won’t be necessary. Tell him to take care of Bomi and the other kids in my place instead."
With a wave of his hand, he exited the orphanage gate. The morning sun was reminding him how today was a new day and a new Chapter of his life was beginning.
There he goes.
From the window, Eunji, seeing Suho’s back, smiled, then silently texted [He’s going now-Gunwo Oppa].
Today I literally lost a Biology competition to a boy wearing clothes that were either the weirdest things I have ever seen or just straight up the cheapest—I honestly cannot even tell. To think everyone called me a genius back in the United States, but here? This guy actually looked bored while facing me.
Yeah, I am absolutely not going home now. I am staying right here in Korea and going to the exact same university as him. He wants to go to Seoul National University and become a doctor? Fine. I will defeat that skinny bastard even if I have to become a doctor too.
