With that said, Suho helped Yoona one last time by lifting her massive suitcase into the taxi trunk. There was no way she could drag that thing through another train transfer by herself, so they had already decided that she would take a taxi from here to Soongsil University. Once the suitcase was finally inside, Yoona climbed into the taxi and left. Suho watched it disappear before turning around and walking back into the station.

Their routes had finally split. Yoona needed to head toward Soongsil University, while Suho still had to continue toward SNU. If they had stayed on the trains together, she would’ve needed another transfer with that massive suitcase, so taking a taxi from here was simply easier for her.

Seeing the prompt from the system, Suho smiled and dismissed it before heading to catch his next train toward SNU. The carriage he managed to squeeze into was filled almost entirely with high school students around his age. Nearly ninety percent of the people inside seemed to be students, and the carriage was packed to the brim. Suho barely managed to squeeze himself inside before the doors closed behind him.

As Suho stood squeezed against the side of the carriage, a shorter boy was standing almost directly in front of him, staring up at his face because there was barely any space between them. Their shoulders kept brushing whenever the train moved, making the situation painfully awkward.

Suho turned his face slightly to the side and breathed as lightly as possible, not wanting to make it any more uncomfortable than it already was. With nothing else to do, he silently commanded the system to show him that Wild Card offer from before.

Let’s check my balance first.

Before selling anything, Suho decided to check his account balance. The coat he was wearing had cost him exactly ₩7,600,000 ($5,320), so when he opened his banking app, he saw [Balance: ₩2,150,000] ($1,505).

It still hurts... seeing that many zeros disappear from my balance. But I have two chances to make money now. First, I can sell something with this Wild Card, then I can collect that mission reward and use those two 1000% Crit Cards to buy two clothing items.

With that plan in mind, Suho pressed [Press Here to Sell], then waited. Two seconds later, the entire Wild Card panel disappeared from in front of his eyes, and at that exact moment, his new phone buzzed in his pocket.

As Suho was about to pull out his phone, he noticed the boy standing in front of him suddenly turning red. Suho wasn’t sure what was happening at first, but as the train entered a curve and everyone shifted with the movement, he finally noticed the middle-aged office worker standing directly behind the boy.

The man was pressed far too closely against him, using the packed carriage as an excuse to stay there even when there was enough room to pull back slightly. The boy kept his eyes lowered, his face burning red, but he didn’t try to move forward, and there was nowhere for him to go with Suho standing right in front of him. He saw the middle-aged man dry-humping the boy for a few painfully awkward seconds, and Suho found himself trapped in the middle of the entire situation.

"Should I...?"

"NO~"

Suho was about to ask if the young man needed help, but before he could even finish, the man immediately refused with an almost embarrassingly loud moan. Thankfully, the train was packed and noisy enough that no one seemed to hear it except Suho. Seeing the flushed look on the man’s face, Suho slowly closed his mouth and decided that whatever was happening here was clearly none of his business.

Well, what the fuck! I have to spend forty more minutes with this gay couple?!

Fortunately, Suho’s nightmare didn’t last long. At the very next stop, the doors opened, and a large number of passengers poured out of the carriage, finally giving everyone some room to breathe. The middle-aged office worker also stepped off with the crowd, while the young man stayed behind. Suho watched them separate, then decided he had already seen enough for one morning.

As soon as the train started moving again, Suho walked to the other side of the carriage and dropped into an empty seat, putting as much distance between himself and the young man as possible.

Finally! Sigh!

Suho leaned back against the empty bench, his shoulders sinking into the backrest as the train rattled along. Pale light swept across his face through the window, and his reflection flickered against the passing darkness as he pulled out his phone.

His bank account had received a deposit of ₩255,635,600 ($178,945), bringing his balance to [Balance: ₩257,785,600] ($180,450). His eyes widened. He leaned closer to the screen and counted the digits, then counted them again, carefully checking whether one of those commas was actually a decimal point.

It wasn’t. Every single digit belonged to the amount in won. Suho sat motionless, staring at the screen while the train continued carrying him forward.

How much was that car worth?! Damn, this much money? I’m rich!! I can send some to the kids, but no... no, wait! I can’t. I can’t explain the source of this money to Aunt Eunji. Let’s settle down in Seoul first, then I can slowly start helping the kids. Let me count those numbers one last time.
