The manager rushed over, raised his hand, and brought it down in a hard slap across the saleswoman's face. He roared in fury,
"I warned you not to judge people by their appearance, but you dared to let my words go in one ear and out the other! You offended a customer! Now get the fuck out! Get out!"
The curly-haired saleswoman cried out in despair. Her legs gave way, and she crumpled to the floor like a spineless stray.
She knew it was over. She was completely finished.
The manager, however, paid her no further mind. He hurried over to Ye Feng, a servile smile plastered on his face. "Sir, please allow me to personally assist you."
Shen Qing picked out a blue suit for Ye Feng to change into. She then selected several more suits, took out a bank card, and slapped it onto the counter. Looking at the manager, she said calmly,
"Ring it up."
But Ye Feng stopped Shen Qing. "Let me get this."
With that, he took out a black card and placed it on the counter.
The manager took one look, and his eyes practically popped out of his head. He hastily snatched up the black card to examine it more closely. A moment later, his voice trembling, he cried out, "The Supreme Dragon Card! This is actually the Supreme Dragon Card!"
Ye Feng said impatiently, "Hurry up and ring it up. I have things to do!"
The manager finally snapped back to reality. He quickly returned the card to Ye Feng with both hands, his voice shaking. "Ah, sir! My employee offended you earlier. To show our sincerest apologies, please accept these clothes as a gift. We won't charge you a thing. Here, please, take your card back."
Ye Feng tried to insist on paying, but the manager was adamant. Not wanting to waste any more time arguing, Ye Feng simply turned and left.
The moment Ye Feng was out of the main hall, the manager scrambled to make a call. As soon as it connected, he shouted, his voice trembling,
"Boss, I... I saw the Supreme Dragon Card."
An urgent voice immediately shot back from the other end of the line, "You saw the Supreme Dragon Card? Tell me exactly what happened!"
The manager briefly explained the situation, and an enraged roar erupted from the phone. "You dared to offend the owner of a Supreme Dragon Card?! You aren't just courting death, you're trying to drag me down with you!"
The manager's face went pale with fright. He quickly said, "Boss, I already fired the saleswoman, and I gave him over two hundred thousand worth of clothes..."
The man on the other end growled through gritted teeth, "A measly two hundred thousand? Do you think he even gives a damn about that? Do you have any idea how much money is in a Supreme Dragon Card? Any idea? I'll tell you: ten billion.
"Ah, I'm done talking to you. I'll deal with you later. I need to get to Jiangcheng right now. I have to apologize to this gentleman in person... Oh, no, I'll have my granddaughter go. It's easier for young people to communicate, after all."
With a sharp SNAP, he hung up.
The manager slumped to the floor, his eyes staring blankly into space. He never imagined that the card held tens of billions in assets.
He never would have thought that this plainly dressed young man was actually a multi-billionaire!
'Heavens, I actually offended someone like that? I was just courting death! Oh, what am I going to do?'
Just then, the curly-haired saleswoman came downstairs, sobbing. When the manager saw her, his eyes suddenly lit up.
He hurried to block her path. "Miss," he said urgently, "do you want a chance to land a rich husband?"
At his words, the curly-haired saleswoman's eyes lit up. "I do!" she cried excitedly. "I do!"
The manager nodded. "Good. Then you'll do exactly as I say." He then proceeded to explain his plan.
As she listened, the curly-haired saleswoman cried out in astonishment, "That Ye Feng is a multi-billionaire? Okay, okay! I'll do whatever you say!" With that, she turned and left, her heart pounding with excitement.
Watching her go, the manager's face filled with anticipation. "It's all up to you this time," he muttered. "You'd better not let me down!"
...
「By this time, Ye Feng had already driven to the Angel Clothing Group.」
As soon as he arrived at the entrance, he saw two groups of people in a standoff.
One side wore security uniforms and carried rubber batons; they were obviously the corporation's security guards.
The other group was a motley crew. Most had their hair dyed in flashy colors and were dressed in shorts and flip-flops. With cigarettes dangling from their lips, it was clear they were up to no good.
The leader, a man with a braid, pointed at the head of security across from him and said in a cold voice,
"If you know what's good for you, get the hell out of our way. Disobey, and I'll chop every last one of you to bits. Believe it or not."
The head of security looked at the braided man and explained patiently, "Brother Xiong, if we let you in, we'll all lose our jobs.
How about you give President Wang a call? If he says it's okay, I'll let you in. That works out for both of us..."
"Works out my ass!" Before the head of security could finish, the man with the braid cut him off. He pointed his machete at the security chief and snarled,
"You really want to fuck with me, huh? Fine. Today, I'll show you what Master Xiong is capable of."
He brandished the machete in his hand and roared, "Brothers, get them! Chop them up! If anyone dies, it's on me!"
"KILL!"
"KILL!"
"KILL!"
The mob of thugs behind him roared, waving their machetes and steel pipes as they charged toward the security guards.
