“Eek!” “Trainer…
not like that…
it’s too intense…” “It hurts!
Slow down…
ugh…
it really hurts!” “Eeeek!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Inside Team Lord’s break room, Tokai Teio lay sprawled on the sofa, drenched in sweat, her delicate face flushed red as her slender hands gripped the sofa cushion restlessly.
She let out involuntary gasps, enduring the intense physical soreness and muscle relief in her lower legs while muttering theatrical words of resistance.
“Ah…
but like this…
it’s actually super addictive!” Thanks to Kouki’s skilled, experienced leg massage techniques, Tokai Teio repeatedly lost her composure, until finally, after fifteen intense minutes, she lay completely spent.
Teio panted softly on the sofa, her fragrant sweat soaking through the sports tank top beneath her shirt.
Her eyes looked dazed, a tiny drop of drool lingering at the corner of her mouth, as if she hadn’t quite floated down from the clouds yet.
“Trainer…
my legs can’t live without your massages anymore…” Tokai Teio mumbled with unfocused eyes.
“It was literally just a post-workout leg massage, can you stop acting so dramatic for once?” Kouki threw a sweat-soaked towel right at Tokai Teio’s face, speaking in an annoyed, exasperated tone.
This girl always had the most absurdly exaggerated reactions on the entire team.
Once, a passing track Trainer had even called campus security!
The chaotic scene of Symboli Rudolf bursting through the door with a squad of campus guards was still freshly burned into his memory.
If that door-shattering kick had hit his head instead of the doorframe…
‘Nope!
Can’t think about that, or I’ll lose all hope for my Trainer career.’ With a heavy sigh, Kouki grabbed a change of clean clothes and headed to the bathroom to take a shower.
Today was the day he had promised to go shopping with Tokai Teio, so he had brought a set of casual clothes to the break room this morning.
Normally, weekends were free, but because of the friendly exhibition match Kouki and Rice Shower had hosted at Noboribetsu, several local academies had submitted formal applications to Tracen Central, requesting Trainers to bring their trainees over for exchange visits.
Because of the sudden administrative workload, Kouki had even been thoroughly scolded by Symboli Rudolf earlier today.
One was the Student Council President, the other an A-Rank Certified Trainer—their status was technically equal on paper.
But who told Symboli Rudolf to hold higher seniority and prestige?
In Japanese society, wasn’t it completely natural for a senior like Symboli Rudolf to reprimand a junior who caused unexpected paperwork headaches?
So, after enduring a two-hour lecture, Kouki had been forced to accept weekend overtime duty.
As a result, Kouki had spent half the day processing email applications from local schools under Tokai Teio’s resentful, pouting glare.
In the end, he had to rely on his expert massage skills to soothe Teio’s post-training muscle fatigue and let the restless girl release her pent-up energy.
Sweat is just water after all (lol).
“Hmph…” Tokai Teio rolled back and forth on the sofa, hugging the towel her Trainer had tossed to her.
Hearing the bathroom door handle click open, she quickly shifted into a posture pretending to wipe her face with the towel.
“Do you want to take a shower too?” Kouki, having finished his shower and drying his hair with a towel, asked Tokai Teio as he walked out.
“Me?!
Eh?!
What…
right now?!” Tokai Teio was caught completely off guard by Kouki’s casual question, her eyes widening in total disbelief.
“You’re drenched in sweat, aren’t you?
Are you planning to go out shopping looking like a sweaty mess?” Kouki asked, genuinely confused by her reaction.
What was so weird about telling someone to take a shower after working out?
Seriously.
“Eh…
well, that’s true…
but…” Tokai Teio hesitated, clutching the towel to her chest.
“What’s there to be hesitant about?
You’re usually not this shy.” Kouki rolled his eyes and walked toward his desk on the other side of the break room to grab his charging phone.
“Ugh…
fine, I get it…” Tokai Teio muttered with her eyes cast down, dropping the towel and standing up.
Kouki, walking while drying his hair, suddenly heard a rustling sound behind him.
He turned around in confusion, only to see that Tokai Teio had already unbuttoned her shirt, revealing her petite frame clad in a dark sports bra.
‘Wait!
Is she really taking off her clothes right here?!’ “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Kouki crossed the room in two massive strides, grabbed Tokai Teio’s hands just as she was reaching for her skirt waistband, pushed her back onto the sofa, and hastily threw the towel over her upper body.
However, because his movements were so panicked, Kouki lost his footing on the slick floor tile and fell straight forward on top of Tokai Teio!
Instinctively, Teio wrapped her arms around Kouki’s shoulders, trapping them both in an extremely awkward position!
Tokai Teio lay sprawled on the sofa, her slender white arms extending from beneath the towel.
One arm was hooked around Kouki’s neck, the other around his waist.
Their faces were less than ten centimeters apart, close enough to feel each other’s warm breath.
A classic rom-com disaster like this—if Symboli Rudolf were to walk through the door right now, Kouki could guarantee his head would be severed from his shoulders on the spot, ending his career permanently!
Panicking, Kouki quickly pressed his hands onto the sofa cushions to push himself up, but forgot that Teio’s arms were still locked around him.
As he lurched backward, he dragged Teio up along with him!
Startled, Tokai Teio instinctively hugged Kouki tighter.
The towel sandwiched between them slipped to the floor, leaving Teio pressed directly against Kouki’s chest.
Time seemed to freeze entirely.
Kouki and Tokai Teio stared into each other’s eyes, close enough to feel the rapid pounding of each other’s hearts.
“Teio…
how about you let go of your arms first, then we both get up…
okay?” Kouki whispered carefully.
Tokai Teio didn’t say a word.
After a few agonizing seconds, she slowly unclasped her hands and pulled her arms back.
Kouki watched as Tokai Teio sat up, grabbed her shirt, hastily threw it back on, and bolted out the break room door like a startled kitten.
Kouki let out a massive, trembling sigh of relief.
‘My head is saved…
barely…’ A few minutes later, Kouki stood up, washed the towel that had fallen onto the floor, and hung it up in the bathroom.
When he returned to the break room desk, he noticed a new LINE notification flashing on his phone screen.
Tapping it open, he found a string of frantic messages from Tokai Teio: *[“Trainer…
I’m feeling a bit unwell today…
let’s cancel the shopping trip, sorry!”]* (Symboli Rudolf Apology Sticker) *[“What happened just now was a TOTAL ACCIDENT!
It…
it was because Trainer’s massage was way too relaxing, so I was completely dazed and thought I was back in my dorm room!
It’s TOTALLY Trainer’s fault, you know?!”]* (Symboli Rudolf Nodding Sticker) *[“SO!
THAT!
MEANS!
You must NEVER, EVER tell anyone about this!
Not even the other girls on the team!”]* (Symboli Rudolf Serious Face Sticker) *[Because this was all Trainer’s fault!
So you have to take total responsibility!”]* (Symboli Rudolf Nodding Sticker) “This silly girl…” Kouki couldn’t help but laugh out loud, tapping back a Symboli Rudolf greeting sticker.
*[“Understood!”]*
