Jay Jay finally returned home after another long day at Moonveil Bakery.
The moment she entered the house, she noticed something unusual.

I sat on the edge of my bed.

My gaze shifted toward the photo frame on my table.

Before she could fall, I quickly caught her.
One hand supported her shoulders.
The other held her arm.
For a second, I became scared.
“What happened?”

I carefully helped her sit down.

“Please drink this.”

The moment we entered the car, I fastened my seatbelt.
Keifer started the engine.

As the family left the bakery
Something in my chest felt light
Nobody asked me how i am , am i fine
But when she asked me
It felt so good to me
I got relief
Her family is so caring towards her
The way his son always buys the cookies for her and on a call he came without wasting time.
I hope i too get a good family
I sighed and got back to the work.

The rest of the drive passed quietly.
Yet Mom’s words remained in my mind.
She looked sad.
I remembered Jay Jay’s smile.
The way she helped Mom.
The way she worried about everyone.
Then a question appeared in my mind.
If she cared so much about others…
Who was taking care of her?
And for some reason…
That question stayed with me long after I reached home.
As we reached home
We both sat at the couch
Keigan came running towards us .
“Mom , Kuya dad is coming in some days ” he said and went to mom and hugged her
She really got happy
Even if dad has just went on a trip of 10 days .
After that we ate food
And I was going upstairs in my room
Just then when i was about to

I turned back
“What?

“Dad’s birthday is coming on the day he comes home ” he said
“Okay” i said
” What okay , tell me what should we do ?” He asked
“Listen do whatever you want to, but be in your limits.
Organise the party” i said
And went upstairs
And when I led down on the bed
The bakery seen repeated in my head
