"Hmm, it looks like someone has missed mommy's breast after being neglected for so long. Too bad mommy doesn't have any milk to feed you right now."
Hearing what his mother had just said, Logan's eyes shot open, then he lifted his head slowly to look at her face whilst his own face slowly turned red.
"You're teasing me right now, aren't you?"
"Mm-hm, I am." Rowena nodded with a smile, trying her best not to laugh at how cute he looked right now.
"You're mean." Logan muttered softly, and Rowena playfully raised an eyebrow with an annoyed look on her face.
"Did you just call me mean? So after all those snacks and food I let you have last night, you still call mommy mean, huh? That's it. No more ice cream for you, mister."
"Huh? No, wait. I didn't..." Logan tried to deny what he had said but he stopped himself before manning up to what he had already done.
"I'm sorry. I won't call you mean ever again." Logan apologised honestly and his mother chuckled before pulling him closer to her for yet another round of motherly cuddles.
"It's ok, dear, mommy was only teasing you. Would you like some ice-cream now while we take a look at some of your baby pictures?"
Logan nodded and the two of them spent the rest of the morning going through their old family photo albums.
Then they had breakfast together and talked for a while until Rowena eventually stood up.
"I have some calls to make, dear, so why don't you explore the house a bit on your own. It might help in jogging up your memory as well, so take your time, okay?"
Logan agreed and nodded in understanding.
Then he wandered through the mansion for a while.
Walking around, he noticed the library, the home theatre and the many bedrooms the mansion had.
Eventually, he pulled out the phone Rowena had given him, then he began searching the internet for anything that could teach him about the world he was in.
And it didn't take long for him to realise the world he was in, was similar to his previous world.
Just like Earth, Terra had the same number of continents and countries, with everything having a similar name to it as well, however, unlike Earth, Terra had one more continent that clearly wasn't in his previous world.
And within that continent was the country Logan currently was in.
The name of the country he was in, was called The Rainbow Federation and the city he was in, was called Starlight City.
But aside from all these, Logan also realised that unlike Earth, which was mainly occupied by humans, in Terra, the world was populated by 80% humans and 20% demihumans such as himself and his mother.
This meant that it was extremely rare to see demihumans just walking around the city because of how small they are in numbers, in comparison to that of humans.
Acknowledging all this, Logan smiled as he stared at the ceiling whilst taking it all in that this would be his new reality from now on.
He knew living in this world might not be as easy as he hoped it would be, but he was determined to live his new life to the fullest, especially since he had a stunning hot mom who was actually an elf.
'I love elves.'
Logan smiled warmly as he redirected his gaze back to his phone screen, then he kept reading for a long while as he tried his best to learn everything he could about the history, the government and the strange culture of having humans living with the few demihumans that existed in this world.
Eventually, a notification chimed in the corner of his vision, informing him of how he had completed his first set of quests.

Meanwhile, not too far away from where Logan was, a certain figure could be seen standing from her son's range of sight, watching as he focused deeply on what looked like his phone.
Rowena had been subtly following him and watching what he was doing, and she couldn't help but smile, seeing how determined he was trying to familiarise himself with so many things he had forgotten already.
Her smile widened even more but it slowly turned upside down the moment she realised the killers were still out there in the city, and a murderous intent instantly surged within her as she hoped to repay them a thousand fold for what they did to her baby.
But whilst her mind was preoccupied with some dangerous thoughts, Rowena's phone suddenly began to ring.
Looking at it, she realised it was Odette calling her, so she answered it immediately and her voice became even colder than when Odette had heard it last night.
"Hello, Odette, tell me you have good news."
"I-I found them, ma'am." Odette replied and a dark shadow cast over Rowena's forehead.
"Very good. Where are you now?"
"I'm on my way back to the mansion, ma'am."
"Okay, I'll be expecting you." Rowena replied before staring up at the sky outside which seemed like it was turning dark, indicating that rain was on its way.
