Ishiyama High.
A battleground shaped by the hierarchy of pure violence.
And in this school, there existed the Tōhōshinki—the four strongest people in Ishiyama High.
Hajime Kanzaki was one of them.
A third-year delinquent who had repeated so many years he practically looked like an adult.
He was known as the man closest to reigning over the entire school, having numerous followers, infamous reputation, and immense confidence.
Until a certain group began ruining everything.
Tsuna and his friends.
Inside an abandoned classroom serving as his headquarters, Kanzaki sat with his gang while several injured delinquents stood before him.
Kanzaki stared at them, his eyes twitching irritably.
“You’re telling me…”
His voice was dangerously sharp.
“…that you lost again?”
The delinquents flinched.
“W-We almost had them, Kanzaki-san!”
“They’re literally freaks!”
“That silver-haired guy fights like a mad dog!”
“The kendo idiot hits too hard!”
“That ninja kid is the same!
“And that muscular freak—”
SMASH!
Kanzaki kicked over a desk.
Everyone instantly closed their mouths as silence filled the room.
Kanzaki had enough.
Across the school, he kept hearing whispers about their recent defeats.
“Kanzaki’s losing control.”
“Maybe he really amounts to nothing.”
“Yuh, damn pathetic.”
“He kept boasting, but this is what he shows?”
Kanzaki heard their words—all of their laughter, insults, and doubts.
His fingers dug into the armrest.
“Those bastards…”
He tapped his knee, pondering over his next action.
After some time, he smirked.
A cruel smile appeared on his face.
“Fine.”
The room grew quiet.
“If strength won’t crush them…”
His grin widened.
“…their weakness will.”
One of his subordinates tilted their head
“Kanzaki-san?”
“Recently, one of you idiots told me something useful.”
The thug blinked.
“The boxer from Namimori.”
“Sasagawa Ryohei?”
“Yeah.”
Kanzaki rested his chin on his hand.
“He interfered when you attacked the group from Namimori High.
It looked like a coincidence.”
His eyes darkened.
“But I don’t care.”
His underlings slowly understood and even swallowed.
“Kanzaki-san… Don’t tell me…”
“I’ve heard that boxer has a sister.”
A cruel light appeared in his eyes.
Sasagawa Kyoko.
She was a perfect weakness to use for their victory.
Several thugs exchanged looks, laughing nervously.
“That’s pretty dirty, Kanzaki-san.”
Kanzaki grabbed him by the collar which made the laughter die instantly.
“You think I care?”
The thug froze.
“I don’t need pride, I need revenge for all the humiliations we received.”
He threw him aside and then stood up from his chair.
“I’ll show them what happens when they interfere with me.”
A cold light flashed in his eyes.

Morning.
Kyoko walked peacefully along the road home while softly humming to herself.
The weather was nice and the streets were quiet.
Ryohei had left earlier for training, leaving her alone to walk home.
She carried her bag while thinking about school.
About her friends, especially about the strange but kind group surrounding Tsuna lately.
“Hm?”
She saw a boy leaning casually against a wall ahead, blocking the way.
Kyoko slowed slightly.
“Excuse m—”
A hand suddenly covered her mouth.
“MMPH!?”
Her eyes widened.
Another arm wrapped around her from behind as two more people emerged from an alley.
“Got her.”
“Hurry up!”
Kyoko struggled desperately.
“Mmph!
Mmph!”
“Tie her up.”
One of them grinned.
“Kanzaki said she must remain unharmed, but he didn’t say we must not traumatize her.”
They laughed.
Kyoko’s heart sank as she was carried into an abandoned storage building before ropes were tightened around her wrists and ankles.
Lastly, they covered her eyes with a blindfold.
“P-Please…”
Kyoko whispered.
“Don’t hurt me…”
They shrugged at her words.
“Depends if you’re a good girl.”
One of them then raised a phone, pointing at her.
“Say cheese.”
His fellow thugs laughed as several photos of her being restrained and blindfolded were taken.
Then they typed a message.
We have the girl.
If you don’t want to see her harmed, come with your gang without doing any tricks.
You have one hour.
The pictures and message were sent to Tsuna and Ryohei.
Modern society was really convenient.
Nowadays, you can easily search for someone’s social media account.

Namimori High School.
BZZZT.
Tsuna’s phone vibrated, causing him to glance down casually.
He froze when he saw what appeared on his screen.
“…”
Rekka immediately noticed.
“What happened?”
Tsuna didn’t answer, his expression going pale.
Rekka look at at Tsuna’s phone, and his eyes instantly sharpened.
“…What is this?”
Gokudera leaned over before cursing after seeing the phone’s content.
“…!”
Yamamoto’s smile also vanished.
The atmosphere around them changed immediately.
Tsuna stared at the photo as his stomach sank.
“I don’t know…
but Kyoko’s in danger.”
His voice was low.
Rekka clenched his fists.
“Those damn Ishiyama High guys!
They’re going extremely low this time!”
“Tch…”
Gokudera cracked his knuckles.
“Kidnapping now?”
His eyes burned with irritation.
“These idiots really wanna die.”
Yamamoto looked at the photo again.
“Kyoko…”
His usual carefree expression was completely gone
Tsuna immediately turned.
“Let’s go.”
Nobody argued nor hesitated.
All four of them took off running.

Kamogawa Gym.
Ryohei silently stared at his phone.
For several seconds, his mind went completely blank before growing alarmed.
“KYOKO!?”
His panicked roar echoed throughout the gym.
Everyone turned to look at him curiously as his hand trembled while holding his phone.
“THIS IS EXTREMELY BAD!!”
Without another word, he sprinted out of the gym.
Ippo barely had time to react at Ryohei’s sudden take off.
“RYOHEI!”
He was too late.
The boxer was already gone.

While racing through the city, Ryohei spotted familiar figures running ahead.
“YOU GUYS!”
“My sister!”
His voice shook.
“Did you see this!?”
Tsuna nodded.
“So they also sent it to you…
we’re going now to save her.”
Rekka stepped forward.
“Kyoko is our friend.
We won’t let her be harmed.”
Tsuna gestured toward the others.
“These are my friends.
Gokudera and Yamamoto.”
Gokudera crossed his arms.
“We’re not leaving Judaime alone for something dangerous like this.”
Yamamoto smiled reassuringly.
“Let’s bring your sister home safe.”
Ryohei stared at them before grinning fiercely.
“…EXTREMELY appreciated!”
He clenched his fist.
“LET’S GO!”
The group ran faster.

Inside the warehouse, Kyoko quietly sobbed.
Kanzaki crouched before her.
“You know…
you’re pretty unlucky.”
Kyoko trembled.
“Your brother got involved with the wrong people.”
Kanzaki chuckled.
“Still.”
He stood up.
“You’re pretty useful for helping me beat them up.”
Kyoko flinched, her body trembling harder upon learning their plan.
Turning around, Kanzaki gestured toward the surrounding thugs.
“Take your positions.”
The delinquents grinned as they cracked their knuckles.
Some even held pipes and iron bars.
Kanzaki smirked.
“Don’t kill them.
Just make it brutal enough for all the humiliation we received.”
The warehouse erupted with cruel laughter.

Tsuna’s group stopped on their tracks as the warehouse stood before them.
“No matter what happens…”
Tsuna’s voice was firm.
“We must save her first.”
Rekka nodded in agreement while cracking his knuckles.
Ryohei clenched his fists.
“For Kyoko…
I’ll go EXTREME!”
Gokudera smirked.
“Heh.
Time to throw some trash away.”
Yamamoto cracked his knuckles.
“Let’s end this fast.”
Together, they stepped inside the dark building.
The moment they stepped into the warehouse, dozens of eyes immediately locked onto them.
Inside, there were many delinquents wielding pipes and other scraps as their weapons.
Ryohei’s eyes immediately found Kyoko next to a pillar, his heart clenched tightly.
“KYOKO!”
“KYOKO!”
Tsuna and Ryohei shouted at the same time.
“Tsuna…?
Brother…?”
Even blindfolded, relief flooded Kyoko as she heard their voices.
A tall figure stepped forward from the crowd, a cruel grin stretched across his face.
“So you actually came.”
Tsuna narrowed his eyes.
“You’re the one behind this?”
The man laughed.
“Damn right.”
Ryohei took a step forward.
“You kidnapped my sister?”
“Yeah.
Got a problem with that?”
When the man answered casually, Ryohei’s fists clenched tightly as his veins bulged.
Rekka stepped beside Tsuna.
“Who are you?”
The man smirked.
“Hajime Kanzaki.”
Several nearby thugs immediately grinned proudly.
“Kanzaki-san!”
“One of the Ishiyama High’s Tōhōshinki!”
“You better know him!”
Kanzaki spread his arms while receiving their praises.
Gokudera clicked his tongue.
“Tch.
Never heard of you.”
Several delinquents became furious.
“The hell did you say!?”
“Watch your mouth!”
Kanzaki raised a hand, stopping them from being too rowdy.
“You should’ve heard of me.”
His smile disappeared.
“After all… you’ve been ruining my life for weeks.”
Tsuna frowned.
“What are you talking about?”
“What am I talking about?”
Kanzaki laughed.
“All the men I sent got beaten, making my reputation drop.
We basically got humiliated badly on our turf.”
He pointed directly at the direction of Tsuna and the others.
“By all of you!”
His eyes narrowed.
“So I decided to have my sweet revenge.”
Ryohei’s expression darkened.
“By kidnapping Kyoko?”
“Exactly.”
Kanzaki grinned.
“If we can’t beat you head-on..”
His gaze became cold.
“We’ll have to resort to dirty tricks.”
The warehouse fell silent.
Even the surrounding thugs looked uncomfortable hearing it out loud.
Tsuna’s expression slowly darkened.
“You dragged an innocent person into this for that?”
“So?”
Kanzaki shrugged.
“She’s useful.
I don’t care about the means to achieve victory.”
Ryohei exploded.
“USEFUL!?”
His voice shook the warehouse.
“THAT’S MY SISTER!”
Kanzaki smirked.
“And so?
Now she’s the reason for why you’ll get all beaten up.”
Several thugs laughed.
That was enough.
All they wanted now was to punch them.
Unfortunately, Kanzaki roughly grabbed Kyoko by her hair which made her scream.
Tsuna and the others froze.
“Ah ah.”
His grin widened.
“No moving.
If you don’t want to see her get hurt.”
Kanzaki maliciously grinned while pulling her hair upward forcefully.
Ryohei’s pupils shrank.
“KYOKO!”
Kyoko trembled while sobbing.
“B-Brother…”
Kanzaki laughed.
“See?
Now we’re finally understanding each other.”
They couldn’t move carelessly.
Even Gokudera could only clench his teeth and remain still.
Fear for Kyoko’s safety chained them down.
Kanzaki snapped his fingers.
“Beat them up.”
The thugs surged forward.
CRASH!
A punch slammed into Tsuna’s stomach.
WHAM!
A pipe struck Yamamoto’s shoulder.
BAM!
Several delinquents piled onto Gokudera.
“TCH!”
Rekka was kicked backward without being able to resist.
Ryohei endured punch after punch, his fists trembling as he held himself back desperately.
He wanted to move.
To fight.
To protect everyone.
But he couldn’t.
Not while Kyoko remained hostage.
“Guys!”
Kyoko’s voice trembled.
“Please don’t worry about me!”
Although she couldn’t see, she could hear the situation around her.
Every groan.
Every sound of their flesh being repeatedly struck heavily and badly.
She could hear how they couldn’t fight back because she was holding them down.
Knowing that, tears streamed beneath her blindfold.
Meanwhile, above them, hiding within the shadows…
Reborn sighed.
“You kids are still too naïve.
If you were more experienced, this rescue operation would have gone more better differently.”
Leon transformed into a gun.
“But your opponent this time is particularly dirty.
You need to learn something.”
A small smirk appeared.
“Cheap tricks only work against people without enough power.” Visit novelping.com for the full chapter.
BANG!
A bullet struck Tsuna directly in the forehead.
THUD.
The thugs beating him up froze after Tsuna suddenly collapsed.
“What the hell?”
“Did he just die?”
“Oi!”
Several delinquents stepped back, completely taken aback.
Even Kanzaki blinked.
“The hell happened?”
He immediately turned toward his men.
“You idiots!
I SAID DON’T KILL THEM!”
Seconds passed.
Suddenly, Tsuna’s eyes snapped open.
Because of us…
Kyoko got dragged into this.
She got scared.
She got hurt.
If I don’t save her….
I’ll regret it for the rest of my life!
WHOOSH!
His clothes exploded away as orange flames erupted from his forehead.
“REBORN!”
Tsuna roared.
“WITH A DYING WILL—”
His eyes locked onto Kyoko before glaring at Kanzaki and his men.
“I WILL SAVE KYOKO!”
“What!?”
The warehouse erupted in panic.
“The hell is that!?”
“His clothes exploded!”
But Reborn wasn’t finished.
BANG!
Another bullet fired, striking Ryohei directly in the forehead, but nothing strange happened to him.
His clothes remained intact.
Rather, only a blazing yellow flame ignited above his forehead.
Reborn raised an eyebrow.
“Oh?
Interesting.
His personality barely changed.”
This just meant Ryohei had the mentality of already living every day pushing himself beyond his limits.
A firm Dying Will as solid as rock.
Kanzaki immediately sensed danger as his Instinct screamed at him to run.
Instead, he grabbed Kyoko and raised her head before the solid pillar.
“I SAID DON’T MOVE!”
At any moment, he could slam her head against the wall.
“OR SHE’LL SUFFER GREATLY.”
That was the trigger.
Tsuna suddenly vanished from his spot.
His speed increased even further after his fight with Hibari.
BOOM!
The ground cracked beneath his feet.
“DON’T TOUCH HER!”
BAM!
Kanzaki was launched across the warehouse before he could even react, losing his grip over Kyoko’s hair.
CLANG!
At the same moment, Ryohei exploded forward like a human cannonball.
“YOU WON’T HURT MY SISTER!!”
Yellow flames surged furiously above his forehead.
“TO THE EXTREME!!”
The atmosphere instantly flipped.
A thug rushed at Tsuna.
WHAM!
The man’s face instantly folded as he flew across the warehouse.
On the other side, Rekka glared at the delinquent who’ve previously kicked him.
Another attacked Rekka.
“Finally.
I’ve been holding back my anger.”
Rekka grinned.
“We can actually fight.”
He sidestepped before delivering a cruel elbow strike at his opponent.
CRASH.
The thug dropped instantly.
Gokudera finally broke free, his veins bulging outward with his face twisting uncontrollably.
“You bastards had fun earlier, huh?”
The delinquents suddenly felt terrified.
“Now it’s my turn.”
BAM!
BAM!
BAM!
One after another collapsed as Gokudera utilized his increased physical strength and improved close combat ability to systematically strike them down.
Yamamoto picked up a metal pipe.
“This feels way easier now.
That Tsuna sure knows how to change the tide.”
CRACK!
A thug dropped with a swing of his metal pipe then another and another.
Within seconds, Yamamoto massacred dozens of thugs around him.
Kanzaki staggered to his feet as blood dripped from his mouth.
“What the hell are you people!?”
His confidence was finally gone.
Fear had completely replaced it.
“THIS ISN’T HOW IT WAS SUPPOSED TO GO!”
“SUPPOSED TO GO!?”
Tsuna’s eyes burned.
“YOU KIDNAPPED KYOKO!
YOU THREATENED AND HURT HER!”
He bellowed.
“I WON’T FORGIVE YOU!”
Kanzaki roared and attacked first.
A powerful Taekwondo roundhouse kick shot toward Tsuna’s head.
WHAM!
Tsuna caught it bare-handedly, freezing Kanzaki in shock.
“You blocked it so easily!?”
Ryohei appeared beside Tsuna like a blazing meteor.
“EXTREME RIGHT STRAIGHT!!”
BOOOOM!
His left punch buried itself deep into Kanzaki’s ribs.
“You liar!”
Kanzaki coughed blood and before he could recover, Tsuna stepped forward.
BAM!
A punch smashed into his jaw, making his vision spin uncontrollably.
Another punch came followed by another endless barrage.
Kanzaki staggered backward as he was completely overwhelmed by the joint attack of Tsuna and Ryohei who double teamed him.
He barely remained conscious when Tsuna appeared before him one final time.
The orange flames burned brightly on his forehead.
“YOU PICKED THE WRONG PERSON TO MESS WITH.”
BAMMMMM!!
The final punch slammed into Kanzaki’s face.
The delinquent crashed through several wooden crates before collapsing unconscious.
All of the thugs were beaten unconscious to the ground just like Kanzaki.
Ryohei quickly untied Kyoko.
The moment the ropes fell, she hugged her brother.
“Ryohei-nii!”
Ryohei caught her immediately and held her tightly.
“I’m here…”
His voice trembled.
“I’m EXTREMELY here.
It’s all okay now!”
Kyoko cried into his chest.
The tension that had been holding her together finally broke.
After several moments, she turned toward Tsuna and the others.
Tears filled her eyes.
“Thank you…”
Her voice shook.
“Thank you everyone.”
Yamamoto smiled.
“Of course.
We’re friends.”
Gokudera crossed his arms.
“Hmph.
Obviously.”
Rekka grinned.
“Friends help friends.”
Ryohei looked toward them and then bowed deeply.
“…Thank you.”
Tsuna shook his head.
“But this happened because of us.”
“No.”
Ryohei immediately answered.
His eyes were firm.
“You guys protected people from trash like them.”
He pointed toward the unconscious Kanzaki.
“They’re the ones at fault.”
Kyoko nodded softly with her eyes drifting toward Tsuna.
It was filled with a gentle warmth and gratefulness.
“You saved me, Tsuna-kun.”
Tsuna awkwardly scratched his cheek.
“…I’m glad you’re okay.”
For a moment, Kyoko smiled tenderly.
With that, the entire terrifying experience finally felt over.
But later that night, Tsuna approached Reborn.
His expression was unusually serious.
“Tell me, Reborn.
What should I do so something like this never happens again?”
Reborn smirked.
“It’s simple.”
Tsuna listened quietly.
“I already told you before.
Cut off the roots.”
Reborn’s eyes narrowed.
“Before, it would’ve been difficult.
But now?”
A grin appeared.
“You already have people willing to fight beside you.”
Tsuna fell silent when Reborn suddenly added.
“And there’s also him.”
Immediately, a certain face appeared in Tsuna’s mind.
Hibari Kyoya.
Yes… if it’s him, he would not let this situation pass.
The next day.
Inside the now-repaired Reception Room, Hibari listened quietly as Tsuna recounted everything.
The room fell silent.
Dangerously silent.
Until Hibari smiled.
A cold smile which was the kind of smile predator showed when a prey trespassed into its territory.
“A student of Namimori…”
His eyes flashed sharply.
“…was kidnapped by Ishiyama trash?”
The temperature in the room seemed to drop.
Kusakabe immediately backed away beside Hibari because he recognized that smile.
Someone was about to have a very bad day.
Hibari stood up, holding his tonfas that glinted dangerously.
“I’ll bite them all until they beg for death.”
…
Next chapters are part of the Ishiyama High Mini Arc.
Wonder who’ll they meet at Ishiyama High….
We are currently at Chapter 34!
