In the endless silence of space, a meteor drifted through the cosmos at a speed just below the speed of light.

At first glance, it appeared no different from the countless giant rocks wandering through the universe.

Yet, in the distance, upon a lonely rock floating through the endless void, stood a strange being with a large head and two small eyes without pupils.Full novel: Waestor- The First Emperor of the Universe — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

He silently watched the meteor.

His expression never changed.

Those empty eyes revealed nothing, making it impossible to know what he was thinking.

Yet there was something about his presence that made even the surrounding silence feel heavier.

Standing behind him were two beings who looked almost identical.

“So, Sage…

why have you brought us here to watch a meteor?” The first follower asked respectfully, careful not to offend the Sage.

“Yes,” the second added.

“I was in the middle of researching the laws of the universe when you summoned me.” His voice carried a hint of irritation.

“Why are we wasting our time here?

Is there something special about that meteor?” The Sage remained silent.

His eyes never left the drifting meteor.

After a long pause, he finally spoke.

“Do either of you know anything about this meteor?” The two followers exchanged confused glances before answering together.

“No, Sage.” The first follower lowered his head.

“This is the first time we have ever seen it.” The Sage nodded.

“I expected as much.” “You know nothing about it.” “But what I am about to tell you will change the way you view mortals…

gods…

and even the universe itself.” Both followers became serious.

“The secrets of the universe are nothing compared to the history hidden within this meteor.” The second follower’s pupils narrowed.

He had devoted his entire life to uncovering the mysteries of the Universe.

Countless years of research…

yet the Sage had declared that all of it was insignificant compared to this meteor Disbelief filled his heart but he remained silent.

Not because he agreed because he, along with his entire race, knew one absolute truth.

The Sage never lied.

And he never wasted his time on something unimportant.

“This meteor is not an ordinary rock born from the universe.” “It is not a wandering piece of stone drifting without purpose.” “It carries a history the universe itself tried to erase.” The Sage’s voice slowly changed.

He was no longer telling a story.

He was speaking with admiration.

With every word, the respect in his voice became more obvious.

Both followers stared at him in disbelief.

Never before had they seen the Sage praise anything with such sincerity.

To them, it was only a meteor.

Why would someone like the Sage admire it?

Before either of them could ask another question, the Sage quietly continued.

“Do you know what this meteor carries?” Both followers instinctively leaned forward.

Their race existed for only one purpose.

To uncover the hidden truths of existence.

Their hunger for knowledge could never be satisfied.

“A forgotten chapter…” “A chapter erased so completely that even time refused to remember it.” “A saga that reshaped the universe.” Silence followed.

“What kind of being could accomplish something like that?” The first follower finally asked.

His thirst for knowledge grew stronger with every passing second.

The Sage answered without hesitation.

“A mortal.” Both followers frowned.

They could not believe what they had just heard.

“A…

mortal?” “Yes.” “A mortal.” And with that single word…

Everything they believed about the universe began to crumble.

“This was not a tale of revenge.” “Nor was it a tale of sacrifice, punishment, justice, freedom, peace, or love.” “It was a tale of absolute dominance.” “The story of a mortal who became someone every god feared.” “A being who achieved the impossible and ruled the universe through nothing but overwhelming power.” “He did not obey the laws of the universe.” “The universe itself bent to his will.” Neither of the followers spoke.

The more they listened, the more impossible the story became.

Yet they never doubted the Sage.

For them, his words were absolute truth.

For the first time in their lives, they saw genuine excitement in the Sage’s eyes.

They could both feel it.The Sage was truly happy.

Not the faint satisfaction of discovering hidden knowledge.

Not the calm pride of solving another mystery.

This was joy.

A side of him that no one had ever witnessed before.

After all…

He was one of the Seven Sages.

Beings born alongside the universe itself, long before the first god had taken its first breath.

Yet now…

The emotionless Sage smiled.

“Do you know that once ten thousand gods stood before him to stop his advance?” “But not one of them dared take a single step.” Both followers instinctively asked, “Why?” Their voices trembled.

Their faces had already turned pale.

The Sage slowly turned toward them.

For the first time…

Sadness appeared within those empty eyes.

“Fear.” That single word sent chills through both followers.

“His path of dominance ended only with his downfall.” “And with it…” “A chapter of the universe disappeared.” Both followers lowered their heads.

“So…” The Sage asked quietly.

“Do you understand now?” “Y…

Yes, Sage.” They answered with trembling voices.

It was the first time the Sage had ever asked them about their opinion.

He continued.

“The gods tried everything to erase him from existence.” “They failed.” “His existence was too great to disappear.” “In the end…” “They succeeded only because another entity intervened.” “An Entity who hated him more than anyone else.” “That Entity once swore before the universe that he would kill him with his own hands.” “But he never got the chance.” “Or, in simple words, he had no power to kill him.” “So he chose another way.” “He erased him from history and destroyed his entire legacy, ensuring that no one in the Universe would ever remember his name again.” “And left a great void in the Universe’s history.” “Across the Universe, no mortal knew why that piece of history had been erased.” “All they knew was that something was missing.” “A strange void existed in the records of the Universe, a gap no one could explain.” “But we mortals did not care.” “To us, the distant past meant nothing.” As long as our lives remained unchanged, we had no reason to question it.” “We believed that forgotten history had no power over the present.” “But we were wrong.” “There was one truth even the gods could not deny.” “If that lost history were ever revealed, the Universe would change once again.” “And this time, it would give birth to a power far greater than the gods themselves, a power they would never be able to control.” Both followers stared at the meteor.

Cold sweat slowly ran down their faces.

“S…

Sage…” “So this is the missing history our entire race has searched for?” “And…

you already knew?” The Sage silently nodded.

“If the seal were ever broken and the truth returned, their greatest nightmare would come to life.” “A history powerful enough to turn the Universe upside down.” “The gods who knew history were constantly stressed.” “Constantly remembering how dangerous and fearsome he looked.” “A memory they could never forget, no matter how hard they tried.” “A scene carved deep into their hearts.” “How merciless he was.” The Sage slowly raised his hand.

A small portal appeared before them.

Inside it was a scene from the past.

Both followers stared into the portal.

The moment the scene appeared, their bodies stiffened.

And for the first time in their entire lives, they felt fear and saw what death looked like.

A lone man stood beneath a crimson sky.

Blood rained from the sky.

It was as if the sky itself mourned.

His entire body was drenched in blood.

His once white hair had turned crimson.

His clothes were also soaked in blood, which slowly dripped onto the ground.

Tip…

Tip… His face remained expressionless.

His eyes were red, with small tears coming from them.

In his arms rested the lifeless body of a woman.

She was also covered in blood.

A massive hole pierced through her stomach.

Her long blue hair was stained red.

Surrounding him were countless corpses.

Corpse of dead gods, who once stood at the top of the Universe, now lying lifeless on the ground.

The same gods who had once ruled the universe .

Neither follower dared breathe.

The Sage slowly pointed toward the woman.

“She…” “Was the reason this massacre happened” “What…

happened?” Both followers asked at the same time.

The Sage remained silent for several moments before replying.

“No one knows.” “Not even I.” “Those who knew are either dead…” “…or too afraid to speak.” His gaze returned to the drifting meteor.

“That single scene is enough to terrify every god in existence.” “So they made a silent pact.” “No one would speak of the meteor.” “No one would search for it.” “To the gods…” “It became a forbidden existence.” “A taboo.” “Across countless ages, many gods attempted to destroy it.” “In the end, they could only watch as it drifted endlessly through the Universe, carrying the being they feared most.” “And they hated it.” “Yet they could do nothing.” “It traveled for billions of years through space without searching for anything, aimlessly floating in the vast Universe.” “It crossed many galaxies, stars, and planets, but no one could stop this meteor.” “It witnessed how stars were born and how they were destroyed, how civilizations rose, and how civilizations fell.” “Once he was released, he was going to change the whole Universe once again, and no one could stop him.” “He was destined to stand above everything.” “The one born to rule all existence.” “A…” Before the name could leave the Sage’s lips…

Both followers collapsed.

Their minds failed to withstand it.

The Sage had unknowingly spoken his true name.

A name cursed by the gods…

Envied by the laws of the universe…

And hidden by the one who stood above both immortals and mortals.

The Sage never noticed.

His eyes remained fixed on the meteor.

Inside it…

Countless chains wrapped around the body of a man.

They covered every inch of him.

Each chain moved endlessly, refusing to release its prisoner.

The Sage smiled faintly.

He had waited billions of years for this moment.

At last…

It had arrived.

“He was sealed not because of some betrayal, not because of some punishment, not because of a mistake.

It was to protect him.” “He was on the brink of death.” “So the one who hated him most saved him from death by sealing him within this endless prison, allowing him time to recover.” Inside the meteor, all was still.

And then, for the first time in billions of years, his fingers moved.

This is a story of forgotten Universe history, cosmic mysteries, Wars beyond Universe, betrayal, regret, and redemption.

While the protagonist was once the strongest existence in the universe, this is not a story where overwhelming power solves every problem.

At its heart, this novel asks a single question: Can someone who once conquered everything choose a different path when given a second chance?

The opening chapters focus heavily on worldbuilding and mystery.

Many questions will remain unanswered at first, but each mystery has a purpose and will be revealed as the story progresses.
