His gaze fell upon the same ceiling once again. He simply stared at it.
Then he tried to get up.
The moment he moved, immense pain spread throughout his entire body.
Every muscle ached, every bone felt heavy.
The pain was so intense that it almost forced a shout out of his mouth.
But Ank clenched his teeth and suppressed it.
He tried once more.
The result was the same.
Pain one again spread in his entire body.
At last, he admitted defeat and fell back onto the bed.
A while later, the old man entered the room and looked at him.
“Ank, you know your body is weak, so why did you train so much?” Ank remained silent.
He could not explain it.
This was the first time he had ever felt so powerless.
The old man sighed.
“Ank, can you tell me what Blessing you have?” “I may not train you, but at least I can give you some advice.” Ank had no answer.
Even he did not know what Blessing he possessed.
Or perhaps…
He did not want him to know about his blessing.
The old man waited for a few moments.
When no answer came, he frowned.
“Ank, do you know what a Blessing is or not?”,he asked in confusion.
Ank lowered his eyes.
Then slowly lifted his head.
“I know what Blessings are.” “But I do not have a Blessing.” “What?!” The old man shouted.
“You don’t?” “But…” “How?” “This is impossible.” “Ank, you must have forgotten because of your memory loss.” “No.” Ank replied immediately.
The old man stared at him.
“Every living being possesses at least one Blessing.” “Without a Blessing, survival itself is impossible.” “And you’re telling me you have none?” “Yes.” Ank admitted calmly.
The old man looked as if his entire understanding of the world had been overturned.
“Then how did you survive for fifteen years?” “This is ridiculous.” After calming himself, he sat down beside the bed.
“Ank, listen carefully.” “I’ll explain what a Blessing is.” “When you focus on your memories, you should be able to sense at least one.” In this world, every living being is born with a Blessing.
A Blessing is a fragment of power that exists within the soul, connecting its bearer to forces far beyond ordinary understanding.
Some Blessings command the elements, some govern weapons and beasts, while others possess powers so mysterious that even gods cannot fully comprehend them.
The path of a Blessing is not fixed.
A Blessing determined only where the journey began, never where it would end.
Two people born with the same Blessing could walk different roads, with one becoming a king, another a saint, and another ascending to godhood Yet hidden beyond the knowledge of gods and mortals alike exists another horizon.
A place where even the highest gods are nothing more than beginners on the path of the Blessing System..
In the end, a Blessing is more than power.
It is the reflection of one’s existence, potential, and destiny.
He raised a finger.
“Blessings are divided into eleven stages, each representing a higher level of potential than the last.” Blessing Mortal Blessing Beast Blessing Spirit Blessing Elemental Blessing Life Blessing Soul Blessing King Blessing Saint Blessing Divine Blessing God Blessing The old man looked at him.
“Do you remember anything now?” “No.” Ank’s answer remained unchanged.
The old man rubbed his forehead.
“Normal Blessings consist of twelve types:” “Normal Blessings.” “And Special Blessings.” “Normal Blessings have twelve types.” Fire Blessing Water Blessing Ice Blessing Earth Blessing Wind Blessing Light Blessing Dark Blessing Lightning Blessing Metal Blessing Nature Blessing Poison Blessing Monster Blessing “Special Blessings are far rarer and are divided into eight types:” Weapon Blessing Creature Blessing Psyche Blessing Mind Blessing Space Blessing Time Blessing Fate Blessing Void Blessing The old man stared at Ank again.
“You still don’t remember?” Ank simply shook his head.
The old man sighed deeply.
“Ank, what am I supposed to do with you now?” He slowly stood up and walked out of the room.
A few minutes later, he returned.
In his hand was a piece of paper.
“Ank.” “I wrote everything down on this paper.” “Read it.” “Try to remember something.” The old man placed the paper beside him.
Then turned toward the door.
“I’ll talk to you again in the evening.” “Think carefully.” “Every being exists with at least one Blessing.” “There is no exception.” After saying that, the old man left the room.
Silence returned once more.
Ank remained lying on the bed.
His eyes slowly shifted toward the destroyed wall.
Toward the book he had thrown away.
The mysterious book remained there silently, as though it were silently waiting, watching, and judging Ank.
Ank closed his eyes.
The old man was not wrong.
He did have a Blessing.
A Blessing he could never reveal.
A Blessing that should not exist.
And now…
He had no choice but to accept the conditions written within that cursed book.
Because if he failed…
He would not survive.
And deep down, Ank knew something even more terrifying.
Death was not the worst outcome waiting for him.
