“Bang.” “Bang.”
Simon shot his gun at the locks, but to no avail.
The loud noise alerted the mutated species in the orphanage, and they all headed in the direction of the sound.
Simon was about to throw a bomb at the door when he felt an attack coming from behind, followed by a loud hiss.
He dodged the attack and turned to his attackers, only to see mutated species.
Immediately, he called out his spirit body.
A long, thick white snake with green eyes appeared.
If Hazel were here, she would have been surprised by its size, as it was nothing like the thick, short snake she had seen before.
Immediately, the fight began, with Simon throwing the bomb at the group of mutated species.
Halfway through the fight, some of his team members arrived, and the fierce battle continued.
Gunshots sounded throughout the orphanage.
Seeing that the battle was already one-sided, with his team winning, Simon turned towards the laboratory door and threw a bomb at it.
This time, the door was blasted open, and he entered the basement.

Alan’s blood loss had increased severely.
Hazel even began to wonder how it was possible for that amount of blood to come out of the little boy’s body.
But she soon found out that it was because of the drugs they were giving him.
Ever since returning from his sister’s place and hearing that his sister would die if he refused to cooperate, he had stayed on his bed while they increased the amount of blood collected from him and the dosage of drugs they gave him.
Now, the scent of decay he had tried to cover up was becoming prominent, and his body had begun to ache.
But the thought that his sister would die made him continue gritting his teeth as he endured the pain.
As several days passed, he would ask about his sister.
One night, he suddenly felt a pain he had only felt when he lost his parents.
Thinking about his sister that night, he kept banging on the glass door and asking for her.
One of the researchers, irritated by his behaviour, finally gave him the news.
“Your sister is dead.”
Those words made something click in his head.
Accompanied by the pain from the machine that was still attached to his body and continued collecting his blood, he screamed.
The glass wall shattered.
Then he began to kill every single person in sight.
As he searched for his sister’s body, he eventually got to the place where her body had already been covered.
He hugged her bony body.
Hot tears rushed down his face.
The little sister he had promised to protect had died.
He had failed his promise.
Everyone had to pay for this.
Everyone.
After killing everyone in the lab, he left the basement and headed to the orphanage, only to see that no one was there any longer.
He had been abandoned.
Who would want him?
After all, he was already a monster.
He had failed his parents’ trust.
He went down on his knees as he cried.
Hazel walked up to him and touched his shoulder.
Surprisingly, this time, her hand was able to touch him.
Then he turned to her.
“Sister, everyone deserves to die.
Every one of them.
I killed them.
I am a monster.
I failed to protect my sister.”
Simon entered the lab, only to see Hazel holding the black-haired boy’s hands.
He had just walked into the glass room when Hazel suddenly opened her eyes.
The boy opened his eyes too.
His entire eyes were black.
“Everyone must die.”
His voice was hoarse, not sounding like a voice someone his age should have.
[Not good, Boss.
Mutated species are coming from outside.
It seems like they are trying to besiege the orphanage.]
Simon, who was connected to the communication group, heard all this.
He immediately pushed Hazel behind him while pointing his gun at Alan.
“Don’t shoot,” Hazel said.
Then she rushed to look for his sister’s room, hoping that her instinct was right.
She quickly found the room.
Then she began to search, and just as she had thought, the torn pages from the diary were under the bed.
Without reading their contents, Hazel rushed back to Alan.
Then she handed him the pages.
He turned his black eyes towards the papers, which gave him a familiar feeling.
His sister.
I know about the smell and how your body aches.
Brother, you have protected Ayan as you promised Mum and Dad.”
“Alan, I wanted you to grow up safe, and I tried to fight these people to let you go because of this.
They are planning to kill everyone off to keep their illegal activities a secret.
Alan, you are a blessed man who has made your Director Mum always proud.”
Tears fell from his eyes.
So, after all, he was someone they loved.
His sister had seen his pain and sacrifices.
“Boss, the mutated species are currently in a frenzy.
They are all rushing towards the basement.”
Then Hazel heard the voices of team members rushing into the basement.
The team continued fighting while a bright light slowly began to envelop Alan.
The more the light enveloped him, the more fiercely the mutated species attacked, pushing Simon and his team backwards.
Hazel had no choice but to release her tendrils, which also joined the fight.
“Sister.”
Alan, who was currently enveloped in white light, held out his hands to Hazel again.
Then she placed her hands on his.
He smiled as he gripped her hands.
The light enveloping him gradually turned into tiny dots, and they all moved in the direction of her spirit domain, the space between her brows.
The mutated species hissed even more at this, as they would also disappear if the pollution source dissipated.
As the light completely entered her spirit domain, Hazel’s white hair flashed, her entire eyes turned purple, and she floated in the air.
A powerful, ancient aura radiated from her, accompanied by countless whispers.
Her tendrils all came to her.
Then they flashed towards the mutated species that were overwhelming Simon and his team.
Upon touching them, the mutated species hissed and turned to dust.
The spirit bodies of every member of Simon’s team shook as they looked at Hazel before flashing back into their owners’ spirit domains.
While their owners stared at Hazel in awe, Simon’s snake stared at her with faint obsession.
“She smells so nice,” were its thoughts as it flicked its tongue.
After the nearby mutated species turned to dust, her tendrils returned to her.
Then a blinding white light flashed from Hazel, covering the entire contamination zone.
Simon and his team members had no choice but to cover their eyes with their hands.
When the blinding light finally disappeared, Hazel’s eyes had lost their lustre.
Then she fell towards the ground…..
