“How could you have pushed your sister, Hazel?

Now she is at the hospital with fractured legs, and you are here, not even feeling remorseful!”

Someone was shouting.Full novel: Wait, I’m only an F-class guide? — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Red Rose felt a strong headache, and she began to rub her temples while wondering who was shouting.

Wait!

Hearing?

Was that possible when she was already dead?

Slowly, she opened her eyes.

The first thing she saw was a middle-aged man who looked enraged.

Beside him sat a beautiful woman with blue hair who was trying to calm him down.

When the woman glanced at her, she glared at her before turning her attention back to the man and continuing to soothe him.

“Hazel, can’t you hear me?

Why are you looking at me in a daze?

Don’t tell me you want to keep denying it.”

“Hazel?”

Red Rose pointed at herself.

“Do you perhaps mean me?”

Her question further increased the man’s anger.

But at that moment, a beep sounded.

The man tapped the wristband on his hand, and a holographic screen appeared in front of him.

Although Red Rose couldn’t see what was displayed on the screen, she was sure of one thing.

This was not her world.

She could still remember the pain she had gone through before dying at the beach.

The man and the woman, whom Red Rose had already guessed was his wife, stood from their seats.

“We will have this conversation when I get back.

And don’t let me remind you again before you apologize to Rosie when she returns.”

With those words, the couple hurried out of the room.

After they left, Hazel was finally able to glance around the room.

A broken cup lay not far from her, and there was a stinging pain at the corner of her head.

Suddenly, a pool of memories seemed to awaken inside her.

Red Rose gasped as a sharp pain assaulted her head.

Although she was sitting, she had to grab the handle of the seat while gritting her teeth.

Scenes flashed before her eyes, memories she had never experienced.

Then, just as suddenly as it had appeared, the pain disappeared as if it had never been there.

Hazel slowly opened her eyes.

She finally realized that something bizarre had happened to her.

Transmigration?

The original owner could be nothing short of a silly girl.

When she was the only daughter of the Xu family, she had been treated like a princess.

Though she was an F-class Guide, which the world viewed as trash, she was still pampered by her parents.

F-class Guide was also a term Red Rose had come to understand after receiving the original owner’s memories.

This world had technological advancements far beyond those of her previous world.

But everything changed when a new girl who looked like her mother was brought back from outside by her parents.

Everyone called her the real heiress.

Because the original owner was simple-minded, she had been happy when she found out she would finally have a sister.

She thought she had gained a family member.

Instead, her new sister’s arrival slowly changed everything.

Her parents began scolding her more and more.

Even worse, she gradually felt their love for her disappearing bit by bit.

And the more she tried to salvage the situation, the worse things became.

Her sister, Rosie, would say things that sounded strange to her, and somehow, her parents would become angry with her again.

What finally made the original owner snap was when she heard that her sister, Rosie, and her fiancé, Noah, were together.

Noah was the same man her parents had told her since she was young would become her husband.

She heard that the engagement between her and Noah would be annulled.

Then she heard her sister making some strange sounds.

She didn’t understand why everyone who had once loved her had suddenly begun to hate her.

She didn’t understand why everything had changed.

Furthermore, she only felt that everything had something to do with Rosie, so she confronted her.

Rosie, knowing her parents would be coming soon, acted as if she wanted to fall, and the original owner tried to grab her, but she still fell down.

The people who had just gotten there, seeing the original owner’s outstretched hand, concluded that she had pushed Rosie.

Hazel clicked her tongue.

“Just to frame her, the real heiress was really ruthless.”

She couldn’t help but feel speechless.

The original owner had been so naive that she hadn’t even realized she was being manipulated until everything was already too late.

Hazel stood from her seat and headed toward her room.

Once inside, she walked over to the window.

The sky outside looked beautiful.

It was pink, with pink clouds, while blue rays of light flashed from the tallest building.

It was strangely peaceful compared to the chaos inside her head.

Hazel raised her wrist and clicked on the strange device attached to it.

Her brain terminal.

It was the same strange device that had beeped when Xu’s father was talking to her earlier.

Although she had received the original owner’s memories, there was still a problem.

Because the original owner had been so simple-minded and sheltered, she knew very little about the world beyond her own family.

Hazel needed more information about this new world.

She spent the whole evening gathering information about the world by browsing through the Star Net.

Hazel sighed.

This world was just as complicated as she had thought.

Hazel stared at the tallest building, whose top contained a large blue sphere that emitted rays of light that shot out, forming a dome around the Imperial City and protecting it against the contamination zones.

Contamination zones.

This term was as strange as it could be.

It turned out that this world had elements similar to those of an apocalyptic world, but instead of zombies, they had mutated species and contamination zones.

Humans here had to fight mutated species in the contamination zones.

In order to survive the contamination zones, everyone would undergo an awakening test at the age of fourteen to determine what they would become.

They could either be an ordinary person, a Guide, or a Sentinel.

Sentinels were individuals with powerful physiques and extremely heightened senses that far surpassed those of ordinary people.

However, because of this, they were easily prone to sensory overload, which could lead to berserking and mutation.

Guides, on the other hand, had weaker physical abilities but powerful mental strength, making them capable of forming mental links with Sentinels.

Their major role was to provide mental guidance to Sentinels, helping prevent them from berserking.

Both Guides and Sentinels had ranks ranging from F to SSS.

However, while SSS-rank Sentinels existed, there were currently no SS-rank or SSS-rank Guides.
