The battle between Roya and the Ork Warboss reached its climax.
The massive Ork was a walking engine of destruction.
Its oversized Power Klaw roared through the air while the massive Kustom Shoota mounted on its other arm continued pouring out explosive fire.
Roya met the attack head-on.
Gripping his Iron Sword with both hands, he swung upward toward the descending Power Klaw.
CLANG!
Steel collided with crackling force-field technology.
The shockwave blasted outward, knocking several nearby Ork Boyz off their feet.
The metal floor beneath Roya’s boots sank several centimeters.
The Warboss’s raw strength far exceeded that of the ordinary Ork Bosses he had fought before.
For nearly half a second…
Neither side yielded.
The Warboss roared.
Twisting its enormous waist, it abandoned its gun and smashed the heavy scrap armor covering its left arm directly into Roya’s side.
Roya refused to retreat.
Instead, he chose to trade blows.
The armor plate slammed into him.
Bang!
The Mk VII Aquila Power Armor remained undamaged.
But the final three hearts in Roya’s health bar instantly vanished.
His body froze.
His Iron Sword stopped only inches from the Warboss’s throat.
The next instant— White particles erupted around him.
Roya…
His armor…
His Iron Sword…
Everything dissolved into white smoke.
Nothing remained.
No blood.
No corpse.
No broken armor.
He simply disappeared.
The Ork Warboss froze.
Its crude mind struggled to process what had just happened.
The humie hadn’t exploded.
Hadn’t been crushed.
He had simply…
Vanished.
The confusion lasted only a moment.
“WAAAGH!!!” The Warboss raised its crackling Power Klaw triumphantly.
“I’z da strongest!” “Da humie’s dead!” The surrounding Orks erupted into deafening cheers.
Behind the Imperial lines…
Phoros watched in stunned silence.
The man who had effortlessly crafted more than four hundred suits of power armor…
Had simply disappeared.
For the first time in years…
The Chapter Master’s heart skipped a beat.
“My lord…” Kahn’s calm voice came over the vox.
“Maintain fire discipline.” “The line must not collapse.” Phoros blinked.
“…You’re not worried?” Kahn calmly bisected another Ork Boy with his chainsword.
Without even turning around, he answered, “Lord Roya will be back.” Phoros looked utterly bewildered.
“Back?” “He just ceased to exist!” At that very moment— A familiar golden glow caught the corner of his eye.
Near the respawn bed…
Roya stood once more.
Perfectly healthy.
His armor looked brand new.
Another Iron Sword rested casually in his hand.
He rolled his neck before bending his knees.
The steel floor shattered beneath his feet.
Like a blue meteor, he launched himself back toward the Warboss.
Phoros stared blankly.
Death…
Respawn…
Full health…
He slowly turned toward Chief Librarian Karkullis.
This miracle reminded him far too much of the Warp’s unnatural manipulation of life and death.
Without opening his eyes, Karkullis raised one hand.
Brilliant psychic lightning erupted outward.
Several sneaking Gretchin hiding among the ruins instantly became blackened corpses.
Only then did the Librarian speak.
“Chapter Master.” “There is still no trace of Chaos.” “No Warp corruption.” “What Lord Roya possesses…” “…is something entirely different.” Phoros slowly exhaled.
“As long as it is not Chaos…” “…then it is the Emperor’s blessing.” He immediately raised his boltgun and fired.
An Ork Boy’s head exploded.
At the center of the battlefield…
Roya charged the Warboss once again.
“Round two.” His Iron Sword slammed directly into the Warboss’s Power Klaw.
Bang!
The Warboss nearly popped both eyes out.
“You!” “You’z alive?!” It roared in disbelief.
Then the duel resumed.
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
Neither side retreated.
But unlike before…
The Warboss had already exhausted much of its stamina.
Its crude armor had become a burden.
Sweat poured down its thick green skin.
Meanwhile…
Roya had respawned completely refreshed.
Every swing carried the full force of Minecraft’s mechanics.
His attacks became faster and faster.
The Warboss was steadily forced backward.
Deep footprints appeared in the metal floor beneath its boots.
“You little humie…” “You got some strength!” The Warboss growled.
Its Power Klaw remained locked defensively before its chest.
Bloodshot eyes searched desperately for an opening.
“I’m gonna rip off yer head…” “…and wear it on me belt!” It gathered itself for one final counterattack.
Roya gave it no opportunity.
His right hand maintained pressure with the Iron Sword.
His left hand flickered.
A Grenade Launcher suddenly appeared.
The muzzle pressed directly against the Warboss’s chest.
The Ork’s expression finally changed.
“You sneaky humie—” Roya smiled.
“You talk too much.” He pulled the trigger.
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
Explosive rounds detonated almost point-blank.
The Warboss’s scrap armor shattered instantly.
Heavy explosive shells tore through flesh and muscle before detonating inside its chest.
Blood…
Bone…
Organs…
Everything erupted from its back.
Even after the magazine should have emptied…
The weapon continued firing.
Roya merely smiled.
“A proper Minecraft grenade launcher never worries about ammunition.” “The inventory handles that.” The Warboss’s screams were completely drowned out by the explosions.
Unable to resist the relentless barrage…
The giant’s body finally stopped moving.
Its lifeless corpse crashed backward.
Boom!
The battlefield trembled.
A red flash spread across its body.
Then— The corpse disappeared.
With the Warboss dead…
The local Waaagh!
immediately collapsed.
Every nearby Ork Boy lost the fanaticism burning in its eyes.
They screamed in panic before fleeing into the depths of the underhive.
Roya lowered the Grenade Launcher.
Above the spot where the Warboss had died…
Two dark green fragments floated quietly.
Each fragment resembled part of a tracked vehicle.
Purple rarity particles drifted around them.
Roya reached out.
Pop.
The fragments entered his inventory.
Obtained: Damaged Chimera Armoured Transport Fragment ×2 Opening the Knowledge Book, Roya read the new notification.
[Collect five Damaged Chimera Armoured Transport Fragments to synthesize the Chimera Manufacturing Blueprint.] [Once unlocked, Chimeras can be mass-produced through the Crafting Table using the required materials.] Roya smiled.
Just a few more powerful Orks…
And he’d unlock the Chimera blueprint.
After that…
Perhaps the Leman Russ Battle Tank.
Or eventually…
Even the mighty Titans.
The Adeptus Mechanicus required centuries to manufacture such war machines.
He only needed…
A few Crafting Tables.
And enough raw materials.
The battlefield had become completely one-sided.
The four hundred Lamenters, now equipped with pristine Mk VII Aquila Power Armor, swept through the retreating Orks like an unstoppable avalanche.
For centuries they had fought cautiously.
Every damaged suit of armor had been irreplaceable.
Now…
They no longer cared.
Chainswords screamed.
Boltguns thundered.
The Nobz were cut down one after another.
Behind them…
The Imperial Guardsmen advanced in disciplined ranks.
Their newly crafted M36 Kantrael Lasguns formed a solid wall of crimson laser fire.
Wave after wave of Ork Boyz collapsed.
Kahn led the assault personally.
His chainsword carved through three Orks in a single charge.
Listening to the endless explosions and disciplined lasgun volleys behind him…
The veteran burst into laughter.
“I’ve fought for over a hundred years…” “…and this is the richest battle I’ve ever fought!” Still laughing, Kahn charged once more into the collapsing Ork horde.
Just as the battle finally came to an end…
Hurried footsteps echoed from the tunnels behind the Imperial lines.
Commissar Silas rushed forward.
His face had turned deathly pale.
Behind him stumbled two communications operators, both covered in mud and grime.
Their eyes were filled with unmistakable terror.
“My lord!” Silas didn’t waste time on formalities.
“The situation has changed.” Roya stopped walking.
Kahn also approached, chainsword still dripping with green blood.
In the distance, Phoros noticed the commotion, ordered his companies to continue the pursuit, and returned to the command post.
“Report.” Roya’s expression became serious.
Silas swallowed hard.
“Our three outer reconnaissance patrols…” “…have all disappeared.” “Their final transmissions contained no Ork war cries.” “The scouts managed to recover part of the last pict-recording…” Silas’s voice grew noticeably heavier.
“My lord…” “I don’t think the Orks killed them.”
