## Watching Yu-Gi-Oh!
Shorts, the Old-school Duelists Have a Meltdown!
# Chapter 3: Blue-Eyes Ultimate Fusion Card!
Stupefying Seto Kaiba!
Blue-Eyes White Dragon?
An explosive combo tutorial?
It wasn’t just the people of the VRAINS world.
At that moment, the gazes of countless duelists from all other worlds converged on the short title flashing across the giant screens.
Under a collective stare filled with curiosity, doubt, bewilderment, and excitement, the protagonist of the primary world, Yuuki Hoshi, suppressed his urge to keep scrolling.
He hadn’t been particularly interested in the previous instructional videos, but as a “dragon-addict” player and a die-hard fan of Seto Kaiba, he finally wore an expression of genuine intrigue.
“Blue-Eyes White Dragon, huh?” Yuuki Hoshi murmured to himself.
“Let’s see how this person explains Blue-Eyes. Hopefully, I can actually learn something!”
He settled in, watching the video’s breakdown of the Blue-Eyes explosive combo with rapt attention.
The first few seconds of the video began with an introduction to the main deck’s construction.
Yuuki Hoshi didn’t feel much of a shock at this part; after all, when introducing a deck, one usually starts with the decklist to establish a perspective.
However, for the other dueling worlds—especially the DM World and the legendary Blue-Eyes user, Seto Kaiba—this single scene was enough to leave them slack-jawed!
“What the hell is this? You call this a Blue-Eyes deck? Why are there so many meaningless cards stuffed in there?”
“That’s not even the worst part! Look at the Extra Deck! There are black cards and white cards! What on earth are those?”
“Ridiculous! I’d rate this construction as total garbage! Our President’s Blue-Eyes deck is the strongest!”
“Wait! Maybe it’s not as simple as we think. This broadcast might not even belong to our world!”
The voices of the surrounding duelists and KaibaCorp staff quickly snapped Seto Kaiba out of his daze.
Indeed, this deck construction was difficult to comprehend.
It was, frankly, bizarre.
Setting aside the actual Blue-Eyes cards, the rest of the deck was filled with things like [Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring], [Maxx “C”], and [Bystial Magnamhut].
Even as the President and the world’s foremost master of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Kaiba couldn’t make heads or tails of this enigmatic build.
But that was nothing compared to the Extra Deck, which shattered his entire worldview.
Since when did Duel Monsters have black and white cards?
Shouldn’t the Extra Deck only contain Fusion Monsters?
Ritual Monsters weren’t kept in the Extra Deck, so what were these?
“Kaiba!” Yugi Muto and his friends had made their way to Kaiba’s side.
Looking at the eerie broadcast, they felt a chill run down their spines.
“So, this isn’t a KaibaCorp broadcast, is it?”
“It’s not,” Seto Kaiba replied, his shoulders tense.
“Yugi, we’ll know more if we keep watching.”
The voice of the man in the video soon echoed across the entire KaibaCorp stadium.
**BrideIsMine:** “Now that we’ve seen the decklist, let’s move on to the individual card introductions and combo explanations.”
**BrideIsMine:** “First, the two-piece ‘hand trap’ set: [Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring] and [Maxx ‘C’]. Not much to say there; we’re running three of each.”
**BrideIsMine:** “Next is the main engine. I’ve included a portion of the Blue-Eyes Synchro engine along with the archetype’s Fusion engine.”
**BrideIsMine:** “Of course, the Rank 8 Xyz system is just for support. It’s not the main focus. We’re primarily looking at Fusion and Synchro!”
The video creator, BrideIsMine, spoke with casual confidence.
To Yuuki Hoshi, this was standard terminology.
But to the duelists of the DM, GX, and 5D’s worlds, it sounded like a foreign language.
The ARC-V and VRAINS worlds weren’t quite as far behind, so they could follow along to some degree.
**BrideIsMine:** “Next up is the introduction for the Fusion engine!”
**BrideIsMine:** “Let’s take a look. We’ll start with the relevant cards involved!”
As the words fell, the screen displayed the Fusion Monsters related to the Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
Leading the pack was the [Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon].
[Card Name: Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon (Level 10)]
[Attribute: Light]
[Type: Dragon]
[ATK/DEF: 3000/2500]
It possessed battle destruction resistance!
It could not be destroyed by battle!
It had a double attack!
It could make up to two attacks on monsters during each Battle Phase!
And even if it couldn’t overpower a foe, it could banish them!
An effect that activated at the end of the Damage Step!
What was truly absurd was that the banishing effect didn’t even target!
This single card immediately captivated Kaiba and every other duelist watching, especially the “dragon-addicts.” But the video didn’t linger; it moved quickly to the next Fusion Monster.
[Card Name: Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon (Level 12)]
[Attribute: Light]
[Type: Dragon]
[ATK/DEF: 4500/3800]
“Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon?” Seto Kaiba began with a dismissive smirk.
“If that’s all it is… wait!”
His body shuddered.
His pupils shrank as he focused intensely on the effects of this [Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon].
Other dragon enthusiasts were equally speechless, staring blankly at the card.
What the hell?!
A Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon with *effects*?!
Since when did the three-headed Fusion powerhouse of the Blue-Eyes family have abilities?
Why didn’t they know about this?
Worse yet was the sheer scale of the power described!
As long as there were no other face-up cards on the field, this card could send a “Blue-Eyes” Fusion Monster from the Extra Deck to the Graveyard to attack again!
This could be used up to twice per turn!
A triple attack!
At 4500 ATK each!
Three easy swings?!
Good god!
In an environment with only 4,000 Life Points, who could possibly stand against that?
