Fake-Card-Tier Ultimate Dragon Magia and Alternative Ultimate!

Kaiba was stunned.

The dragon-addicted players were equally dumbfounded.

It was one thing for Blue-Eyes to have a Twin Burst Fusion, but this [Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon] that followed was simply on another level.

Just as Kaiba, Yugi, Joey, and the others were leaning in, eager for the uploader “BrideIsMine” to explain further, his next words turned them to stone.

**BrideIsMine:** “You can just glance at these cards. They’re basically ‘trash cards’—low power ceiling. Just running one copy in the deck is plenty.”

**BrideIsMine:** “Twin Burst’s non-targeting banish is okay to look at, but as for Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon… my assessment is that it can’t even hold a candle to the next card.”

As BrideIsMine’s voice faded, the images of Twin Burst and Neo Blue-Eyes vanished from the screen.

It was as if, in the eyes of this person, those two cards were mere garbage.

Kaiba nearly choked on his own breath.

*You call that a low power ceiling?* If those two cards were added to his current Blue-Eyes deck, he couldn’t even imagine the heights of power he would reach!

Yugi Muto, however, managed to regain his composure.

He was beginning to understand.

The world this video was connected to clearly exceeded their current reality’s logic.

Joey Wheeler swallowed hard, his eyes wide.

“Is there really a Blue-Eyes Fusion stronger than that?”

As if in response to his thought, the video progress bar advanced, revealing the information for the next set of Fusion Monsters.

[Card Name: Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon (Level 12)]

[Attribute: Light]

[Type: Dragon]

[ATK/DEF: 4500/3800]

The moment another Blue-Eyes Fusion monster appeared—one distinct from Neo Blue-Eyes but still requiring three Blue-Eyes White Dragons as material—the DM World went absolutely wild.

This card’s power was even more terrifyingly absurd than the last!

“What is this? There’s an even bigger boss? This card can’t be targeted or destroyed by the opponent’s card effects?!”

“That resistance… it’s on par with the Egyptian Gods! And it has a board-clearing destruction effect! Even if it is once per turn!”

“Wait, what the hell is a [Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon]? I’ve never heard of it! Apparently, if you use that for the Fusion, this card gets even stronger!”

“Yeah, if you use that ‘Alternative’ dragon, the destruction effect can hit two or even three cards! This is ridiculous!”

In an instant, the duelists surrounding Kaiba were swept up in a cacophony of heated discussion.

Kaiba clenched his fist.

How could he not see the sheer terror of this card?

It had built-in protection and removal.

Looking back at Twin Burst and Neo Blue-Eyes, *this* was the true ace!

Those first two were nothing compared to this.

Even with its own restrictions, its raw resistance made it a definitive win condition.

“So, the core of Blue-Eyes revolves around summoning this monster?” Kaiba muttered to himself.

“Hmph. Interesting. And I assume that ‘Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon’ is the effect-monster version of Blue-Eyes I saw in the decklist earlier.”

He quickly pieced together why he had seen “Blue-Eyes with effects” earlier.

That had to be the Alternative version!

“Kaiba! This Blue-Eyes construction has gone far beyond our understanding,” Yugi said, wiping cold sweat from his brow.

“Stay alert. It seems… this is only the beginning.”

Even as the “King of Games” known for top-decking and “creating” cards in the heat of battle, Yugi couldn’t help but feel a sense of unease seeing cards with such overwhelming power.

And reality proved Yugi right.

Next to that card appeared an even mightier Fusion!

[Card Name: Dragon Master Magia (Level 12)]

[Attribute: Light]

[Type: Dragon]

[ATK/DEF: 5000/4000]

5000 Attack Points?!

What kind of god-tier stats were those?

And 4000 Defense—it could block an attack from [Obelisk the Tormentor]!

“What in the world is…” Kaiba and Yugi stared at each other, unable to believe the “True Boss” Fusion card that had just appeared.

What shocked them even more was the artwork.

The card featured a combination of [Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon] and [Magician of Black Chaos]!

A fusion of their two signature aces?

Was such a thing even possible?

“Holy crap!” Joey shouted, jumping back.

“Kaiba’s Blue-Eyes can actually do that? Let me see those effects…”

Joey’s eyes darted to the effect description.

**Effect 1:** When the opponent activates an effect, you can activate this effect (you can only respond to Spell, Trap, or Monster effects each once per turn).

Negate the activation and destroy it.

**Effect 2:** If this face-up card leaves the field because of the opponent: You can Special Summon 1 “Blue-Eyes” monster or 1 “Chaos” Ritual Monster from your Extra Deck or Graveyard.

Two simple, elegant effects.

Yet, they radiated an unspoken majesty and power!

It was a literal “Triple Negate”!

Against Spells, Traps, and Monsters—it could negate each once per turn!

And its “floating effect” allowed it to summon a Blue-Eyes or a Chaos Ritual monster upon leaving the field!

It was pure, unadulterated power-creep.

Joey took a deep breath, unable to calm his racing heart.

Why was Seto Kaiba’s Blue-Eyes so ridiculously strong in that unknown world?

Kaiba, meanwhile, had fallen into a stunned silence after seeing this Fusion engine.

In less than a minute, this short video had completely upended his entire perception of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon.

He looked back at his own “vanilla” Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon.

Kaiba couldn’t help but ask himself: *The deck I’ve been playing all this time…

is it even really a Blue-Eyes deck?*
