So they’d just end up arguing afterwards, and he wasn’t taught a lesson in obedience or behaving at all because of those; his knowledge about things just increased.
“Why do I need to behave? I’m already well-behaved as it is.”
“You? Well-behaved? Who are you trying to fool? How many times have I cleaned up after your mess before? Don’t tell me you’ve already forgotten about those.”
“I’m behaving well enough. As for those you mentioned, those aren’t my fault at all. Never mind those; I just learned that you have a lot of fangirls and fanboys here. You should be careful.”
“They’re just kids; no need to worry about them too much. In no time, they’ll have more people to admire, as there are still a lot of great people out there. Okay, let’s stop talking about that. In our meeting, we just discussed the upcoming science competition which will be held next month.”
“That doesn’t have anything to do with me. You can just talk about it with your students later.”
“Can’t you just let me finish?” Ren said, and then continued, “Because of the competition next month, the students who will be participating will need time to learn and make up some of the knowledge points that would be included in the competition. Every Saturday starting from this week, they’ll be coming to the school to do their preparation, and you and your other science-major classmate will also be present to assist those students.”
Before Eli could even complain that they weren’t obliged to do so, Ren said, “We already talked about it with your professors, and the two of you only need to attend three days of observation on weekdays, as both of you will be at school the whole day every Saturday.”
“Okay, that’s acceptable,” Eli said.
Having two days of break time was certainly better for him, as he could completely sleep in for two days, and he also wouldn’t have to face Ren for two days and avoid working for him.
However, since it was already Thursday, he only had the next day off and had to go to his assigned school again on Saturday.
When they were going home, he left the key to his car with Glen and asked him to return them in the afternoon, as he and Sean wouldn’t be going to the school the next day.
They also didn’t have any afternoon classes on Friday, as they only had to submit something online, so Eli was able to relax for the whole day.
So, when he and Sean drove to the school on Saturday, he was still filled with energy and wasn’t grumpy about having to wake up early on a Saturday. Visit g.com for the full chapter.
When they arrived, the school was obviously quieter as they couldn’t see a lot of students.
He and Sean only saw a few students and were mostly students going to the gym, certainly students from various sports clubs that were having their practices.
Afterwards, they only saw a few students when they were finally near the classrooms which were near Ren’s office.
He and Sean separated, as the CT of Sean was already in one of the classrooms and was already preparing some review materials for the students.
As for him, he only greeted the teacher, and continued to Ren’s office where he saw him printing some forms for the students.
“Huh? Aren’t those the forms that you’ve already printed before?” Eli asked after glancing at the forms that were being printed as he saw that it was the one that Ren printed last Thursday.
“There’s a slight change of rules, number 9 and 10, and they only sent the change yesterday afternoon so we have to reprint the forms again.”
“Tsk, they gave it in such a late notice.”
“The organizers this year were actually faster, at least it wasn’t like last year where the confirmed competition rules were only distributed after 2 weeks, so the students had to make some changes on how they’re going to compete and had more things to review.”
Eli didn’t disturb Ren and just sat for a while before going to the classroom that Ren was in charge of.
When he entered, he saw that the students that Ren mentioned were already present and were already browsing the review materials on the table.
Ren was in charge of the individual category which was like a quiz bee to test the knowledge of the science students and it’s also divided by grade levels. Read this novel at g.com for the best experience.
But even though it’s divided by grade levels, the knowledge that they would be testing in the science competition would be more advanced than usual.
They had only sent the scope of the things that they will be covering so the students needed to review a lot.
Of course, the teachers would also prepare the books or materials that the students would need to review.
There were currently 20 students in the classroom as they were the ones who signed up for it, but there would only be 8 students who will be participating as the school could only send 2 people per grade level.
So after two weeks of review, they will have a mock test and those that got the highest scores would be the ones who’s going to participate and continue their review for the next two weeks.
“Good morning everyone! Did you guys have an easy time waking up early?”
“Good morning to you too, Mr. Arne!”
Then they answered his questions differently.
“Of course, I had a great morning since I’m already used to waking up early even on Saturdays.”
“No, I’m still sleepy.”
“It’s also a no for me, I spent 20 minutes in my bed before I fully woke up.”
“Yes, I woke up early but now I’m already sleepy.”
“Then, those who were still sleepy or getting sleepy, you should wake yourselves up already, since Mr. Randel would probably be here after a few minutes then you guys would begin reviewing. Ok, get a copy of each reviewer and books here,” Eli said while tapping the books that were on the table.
