"Sometimes, I wish I could stop this amplification."
Liam broke out in a cold sweat as soon as he saw the red panel; he was not sure what this system would do this time around. He didn’t want a single ounce of infatuation from that girl.
[NEW REWARD: Clara Hartmann Infatuation has been increased by 10,000% (Mini Sun Mark (Passive)]
[Explanation: The host doesn’t have to court the women he loves. Clara Hartmann is now totally infatuated with you. {Warning: 100% represents the maximum range for human emotions.}]
[Mini Sun Mark (Passive): When the host is with his lover, it appears on the host’s forehead like a mini sun. Invisible to mortal eyes, this mark will make the host extremely charismatic to any mortal. {Warning: Extremely low-willed mortals can become unconscious in the host’s presence.} (Current Range: 20 meters)]
"Shit...shit."
Seeing the reward, Liam’s palm went damp, and his blue eyes, which were glowing previously, got dimmed for a second, and a small orange dot appeared on his forehead; the glow in his eyes returned with it.
The orange sun on his forehead got deactivated soon, but the blue glow in his eyes remained. Liam was staring at the rearview mirror while all this was happening.
"Fuck, I better get back home and sleep!!"
*BRRM"
*KNOCK* *KNOCK*
As soon as Liam started his car, a sudden knock on his window made his whole body tremble; he was scared he would see Clara again, but when he turned around, to his surprise, it was someone he knew, or you could say he remembered from his past life.
"Of course, it’s a fucking reunion with all my past trauma."
Wearing a purple bandanna, a person stood beside Liam’s car; he was taller than the car itself and looked menacing, with a broad smile showing his white, glistening teeth.

*SLIDE*
"Yo! Roc!"
Liam greeted first with a smile; he was angry at the system mission, and this chap came in, and not even alone as usual. Liam can see the boys standing behind his car and touching it as if it were their own.
"Yo! Homie, nice ride.
Rock didn’t even bother to pretend; for him, this weakling was nothing. He forcefully pushed his head inside through the driver-side window; Liam had to lean back to give him space.
"It’s not mine; it’s the city attorney’s. I am his part-time driver."
Liam lied through his teeth; he just wanted to complete the mission and go on his way. He was way too tired for this kind of bullshit.
"City Attorney? What’s that?"
Rock didn’t care about anything at all; he was ogling the car, touching the interior here and there. Liam could even see a gun at his waist, holstered. A bead of sweat formed on Liam’s forehead as he tried to brainstorm.
This was his area; we might have been classmates once, but after getting expelled, he’s nothing but a gangster now. I have to think of something fast.
"City attorney means there will be thousands of cops here if his car has any scratches."
Rock paused, hearing what Liam said, then looked at Liam with a cold look. Liam gripped his right hand tight, which was resting on his thigh; he was also a regressor, but at any moment he could be a victim.
"Are you trying to scare me? This car might be untouchable, but you’re not."

"Nope, I am not trying to scare you at all."
Liam smiled, but Rock looked like he had seen a ghost; he scratched himself while pulling himself out of the car’s window as fast as he could. There were visible red marks on his arms as his face turned purple with shock.
*BEUGH*
"What happened?"
Liam, with a fake concerned voice, asked when he saw Rock turning around and vomiting on the road. The boys who accompanied Rock came running to him. Liam gently pressed the gas, and it took him exactly six seconds to drive out from in between two parked cars.
"This system is dangerous."
Liam muttered while pulling the window up; he was very confident about scaring the rest of the gang, but in both his side-view mirrors, he could see people wearing purple bandannas. He was not that smart, but he was a moron to face them head-on.
This will be the last time I ever set foot in this neighborhood.
*BRRM*
The Range Rover sped through the traffic like it was nothing; with Liam’s god-tier driving skill, he can see miles ahead and even slow time when in trouble.

"Yeah!! I really wanted to know my gender."
Shaking his head at another absurd reward, Liam drove forward on the freeway; it took him about four hours of driving to finally reach his destination. ’Reliable Carriers’ was written on top of a huge warehouse.
Let’s ship this car first to Princeton so that I can move around there easily. Dad and Mom only need to know about the money I got; I’ll give them the whole amount and choose a nice place for them to buy a house.
It will be a secure investment, and they can stop paying the mortgage for the rundown place.
"Sir, where do you want to ship it?"
"The Princeton, New Jersey, address is not fixed yet, as I am a new student there."
"Got it. Come down with your papers. We provide instant insurance if your car is damaged during transportation. Please follow me to the manager’s office."
As soon as Liam parked his car, a person wearing a blue jumpsuit came to receive him. Liam, nodding his head, took the papers in hand, and soon his car was ready in a covered semi-truck.
"We charge a bit more but make sure your car won’t have any scratches when you get it. It will take around four days to reach the destination."
The manager who walked Liam out with a bright smile pointed at the truck and spoke. Liam nodded his head, then called an Uber; it took him around half an hour to do the paperwork here for his car and almost got twenty calls from his worried mother in the process.
Seated in the backseat, Liam pulled out his phone; it barely had three percent battery. Liam opened his banking app to see how much he had left.
[Total Current Balance: $997,000]
"I had $56 of my own, which I spent eating pizza, and three thousand was to send this car nicely. I’ll keep seven thousand for myself and use the rest to buy a house for my parents; I need to buy one in a nice location for them."
Ah! I forgot the Status Panel.
A glowing red panel appeared in front of Liam as he sat back and looked through his details with a frown, biting his thumb.
