Back in the present Billys flashback has ended and he has arrived off the train into the town of St. Mary's a predominantly Catholic community.
He walked all across the town witnessing catholics on their knees praying to saints and Mary saying "blessed be Mary. Please protect us," he saw a Hispanic priest with a young woman with black hair. "Your sins are forgiven my child," said the priest.
The woman fell on the ground in tears. "Thank you Padre. Thank you my father," said the woman. Billy walked up to the priest with a look of confusion on his face.
"Hello young man. How are you?" said the priest. His name was Miguel. "I'm great. How about you?," said Billy. "I'm well. Have you come here to make confession and get your sins absolved?" Asked Miguel.
"Um, no thanks. I was just wondering why you think you can forgive sins when the Bible says only God can forgive sin?" Said Bill.
All the townspeople looked in astonishment. "How dare you talk to the Holy father like this?" said a Townsmen. "Um. I'm not trying to be rude. I'm just saying," said Billy with a shrug.
"Calm down. There's no need to be offended. This young man is simply learning our faith. This is a common question from Protestants. God has given us authority in the Bible to forgive sins," said Miguel.
Bill looked confused. "I haven't seen that in the Bible. What i do know is that taking the place of God is blasphemy and idolatry. Also Jesus said call no man father for one is your Father. Also I'm not a Protestant. I'm just a Christian that believes the Bible," said Billy.
The townsmen looked in rage. People began yelling at him and insulting him. "Get this foolish protestant out of here," they said "but I just told you I'm not a protestant," said Bill.
"Also you guys are worshipping statues and Mary. Thats idolatry. The Bible says idolaters will go to the lake of fire but the good news is that Jesus died for all of you and rose again and if you repent and believe in Him and leave catholicism you can be saved," said Billy with a smile.
Everyone looked in rage. "What? I'm giving you good news," said Billy. "Get out of there!" They said. "Its going to be better on Judgment Day for Sodom and Gomorrah then you guys. I guess i better shake the dust off my feet," said Bill. I pray for all of you," said Bill.
After that Bill went to another town and encountered a beautiful woman with long red hair. "Hey there handsome," she said. She tried seducing him. "I'm not trying any funny business. I'm a Christian and I'm living sexually pure. I'm not married and I'm not interested," said Bill.
Everyone began to laugh. "You're really going to turn down a beautiful woman? Whats wrong with you boy?" They said. Billy looked over at them and said "the sexually immoral don't go to Gods Kingdom and they go to hell if they don't repent but Christ died for them and rose again. They can be saved if they repent and believe in Him," he said.
Bill traveled across various towns and saw people begging for food out on the streets. He went into restaurants and bought them food and water. "Here you go," said Bill. "Thank you so much. You are a kind young man," said the begger.
"Don't mention it. I'm nothing without Gods glory," said Bill. He also prayed for them. "I'm going to tell everyone in the town about how kind of a person you are," said the begger. "Thats not necessary. I would actually prefer if you didn't," Billy as he walked off.
As Billy continued walking around town. He saw an older man on the street. He was stumbling drunk around the street. His name was Tony. "Looks like you've had way too many booze tonight sir," said Bill.
"Sober up and get right with God. There's a judgment day. The Bible says drunkards won't inherit the Kingdom of God" 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 said Bill. The old man began to cry.
"I'm pathetic. I'm a nobody. I'm just an old drunk alcoholic that ruined my whole life with drinks. I'm a nobody," said Tony. "Don't say that about yourself. You're created by God. It's never too late to turn around for the better," said Bill.
"I began to drink after I lost my daughter. She was senselessly killed by outlaws on the street," said Tony. "Ive struggled with severe anxiety and depression for years and I drink to get it off my mind," said Tony.
"This isn't the answer. Jesus can set you free on your pain, your hurt, your addiction. He came on the cross. Let go of those burdens and leave them at the feet of Jesus," said Bill. Tony fell in tears. He repented and turned away his drinking habits and became a devout follower of Christ.
Billy traveled all across the towns preaching everywhere he went calling sinners to repentance, ministering, and taking care of the poor.
He preached against various lifestyles. Fornication, murder, theft preaching the gospel. He even preached against various denominations and churches that allowed loose living and people living in moral sins.
"Denominations cause confusion. In the Bible they were only called Christian. Not catholic, Protestant, or baptist. Your pastors have compromised Gods word. They preach how to be wealthy and happy all the time. You tell everyone that it's ok to sin and do whatever you want. Jesus said to repent of sin and be holy. Jesus said deny yourself. Not be happy," said Billy.
The congregants and the pastors looked at him. Several protestant ministers and pastors looked at the boy in anger. "You're from Pastor Tims non denominational Church. I think that church is a cult. You all think you're better than us. You act like you're the true Christians. The Protestant Evangelical Church is the largest church in all the West," said a pastor.
"Popularity doesn't always mean the truth. The catholics and pharisees during Jesus time were popular. That didn't make them right. Evangelical by definition is a good word but not everyone who claims to be Christian or evangelical is one. You all are supporting sin and you need to repent. Judgment begins in the house of God. Not every non denominational church is a cult," said Billy.
Soon after Billy continued traveling across the towns preaching his messages several townsmen and religious leaders in towns were outraged including catholic and protestant ministers.
"I'm tired of this kid and his big mouth. He's always judging everyone and saying everything we do is wrong. He judges smoking, drinking, he bashes catholics and protestants too. I say this boy needs to learn a lesson the hard way." Several townsmen, catholic priests, methodist, presbyterian ministers, and many of the cowboys from the bars all came out with weapons and guns and started chasing after Billy.
"Get over here you loud mouth brat. We want your head on a stick," they yelled. Bill looked at them in shock. "Uh oh! That's not good. I better get out of this place," said Billy. He began running the townsmen continued chasing after him. He found a place to hide.
As Billy walked through town he ran into a marshal with a badge. "Are you the one that keeps making trouble around here?" Asked the Marshal.
"Well kind of. I'm not trying to though. I'm just preaching the gospel," said Bill. "You've caused an uproar in this whole town but you do have freedom in this country to express whatever beliefs you want. Are you the one who has enrolled in the academy this week?" Asked the marshal
"Yep that's me," said Billy. "Best wishes but I warn you Sheriff Maverick and Lieutenant Coyote have very high standards. Not many people can keep up," said the marshal. Bill smiled. "Don't worry. I'll be just fine," he said.
Bill was in a market and saw natives walking into town. It was Element. Billy smiled. "Greetings. It's nice to see you here. Do you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour?" Said Billy.
Element looked at Billy in anger. "Thanks but no thanks. We are pagans that believes in the gods of nature," said Element. "I dont understand why you guys worship nature. Nature is not a god. It's just a creation of God. My God is so much bigger and greater than a creation. My God is eternal and there's only one God. I encourage you to know Him and follow Him. Idolaters will go to hell but if you repent and follow Jesus Christ you'll be saved because He died for you and rose again," said Billy.
Element and the natives looked in anger. "We are not interested in following your God," they said. As they were walking a group of cowboys came up.
"Why is it that everytime I come into this town I see these ugly native animals? We don't want you here," they said.
Bill looked at them in anger. "Hey you have no right to talk to people like that. You're full of hate. Hatred and prejudice leads people to hell. God has made all nations one blood. I don't agree with their religion and I told them it was wrong but it has nothing to do with their skin or what they are. I judged their beliefs. We're all created by God. We're all Adam's descendants," said Bill.
Element looked over at Bill. "Thank you for standing up for us. We are visitors from Northern Heights. I've always respected the West because our people live here. My brother doesn't like cowboys but Ive seen a lot of good in this place," said Element.
"We have to go but it was nice to meet you," said Element as he left.
In Arrowtown a group of marshal's from Westville County all held a meeting including Sheriff Maverick and Lieutenant Coyote.
"Westville County is investigating the whereabouts of several element crystals in key locations. Our mission is to recover these artifacts. If the outlaws were to get ahold of these devices it could be a disaster for our cities. Especially our county's capital," said Maverick.
As the conference continued Coyote and Maverick had a conversation. "Are you sure you really want to give this boy a chance thats coming to try out in our academy tomorrow? I hear that he's a little weird," said Coyote.
"I dont care who is weird. If he's strong and gets the job done he can join but he has to past the tests first before he joins. There's a criteria," said Maverick.
Billy traveled to a local shooting range and practiced to shoot. He went to a local gun expert named Ted. He showed them the crystal. "I was told this can manipulate elements but I'm not sure I believe it," said Bill.
"I'm going to show you something," said Ted. They went into an isolated area with canyons away from human population. "You can use these for guns or for devices called activators but once you use it you cant use it again unless you get a third type of device but they can still be collected with other crystals.
These are being used as weapons by both marshals and outlaws. This crystal you have is water." said the gunsmith. He got the weapon and a large amount of water came out.
Bill looked amazed. "It looks like what they lady said was true. They can control elements. She said that outlaws are collecting them to control the West. I have to stop them when I become a marshal. It's too dangerous,' said Billy.
