The city lights still shone brightly outside.

In a presidential suite of a hotel in Beijing,

two fiery bodies were entwined, clothes scattered on the floor.Full novel: What Should I Do If I Have the Second Male Lead’s Child? — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Si Ruohan raised his desire-filled eyes, looking at the delicate, alluring face before him, his voice slightly restrained:

“You can still regret it now…”

But the person beneath him tightened their embrace, the smooth, soft skin pressing against him, and Si Ruohan’s self-control crumbled instantly.

“Since that’s how it is, then don’t blame me!”

…

It was nearing noon, the sunlight outside the window was brilliant.

On the bed, Pei Xi sat up, frowning. She rubbed her temples, looking around at her unfamiliar surroundings.

Where was she?

The blanket slipped down to her waist, feeling the cool air from the air conditioner.

Pei Xi looked down and saw the mottled marks on her skin, screaming in shock.

“Ah!!!”

Her voice was hoarse!

Pei Xi quickly pulled the blanket over herself, scanning the room to see if the man was still there.

Good heavens! This really wasn’t a dream. Even the slightest movement made her feel incredibly uncomfortable in her private parts.

Pei Xi propped her head up, trying to recall how she’d ended up with that man yesterday.

Yesterday, she’d gone shopping, seen a movie, and had dinner with her best friend. They’d even gone to karaoke together in the evening, both having drunk a little. When they parted, her friend’s boyfriend had picked her up.

As for her, she was staying in her school dormitory and couldn’t get back in, so she found a hotel to stay in for the night.

She usually didn’t drink, and while looking for her room number, she felt dizzy.

Finally finding it, she took out her room card to open the door, but her head was spinning. Once inside, she just threw her shopping spree items on the floor and lay down on the bed.

In her hazy state, Pei Xi noticed a man standing beside her bed.

Pei Xi thought she was dreaming; only in dreams could she see such a stunning man.

This man was damn handsome—his face, his height, everything about him rivaled the male protagonists in her novels.

No, he was even more handsome than the male protagonists in her stories.

This was practically the male lead of her dreams!

Pei Xi thought she was dreaming, incredibly bold, and started taking advantage of him.

Thinking about how she’d been twenty-two years old and hadn’t even touched a man’s hand, she felt incredibly frustrated.

Now that she was dreaming, touching him however she wanted wasn’t unreasonable!

The marks on her body told Pei Xi that she really hadn’t been dreaming last night; she really had slept with a strange man.

And it seemed she’d even initiated it!

Ugh! This whole mess made her unsure whether she should be sad or not.

Her first time was gone so inexplicably, and it was all her own doing.

But how could there be a man in her room?

She’d find out later, when Pei Xi left—that was a story for another time.

Right now, Pei Xi had to go back. She’d graduated, needed to find a place, and then go back to school to move her things!

She’d just finished her graduation ceremony yesterday morning, and then gone out with her best friend in the afternoon—she hadn’t even found a place yet!

Because of school rules, she had to move out within three days. This apartment was hard to find, so she needed to hurry. Graduation was coming, and she couldn’t stay at school forever.

As Pei Xi thought about it, she realized the room was quiet, and there was no sound from the bathroom. She figured she was alone.

Pei Xi looked around and saw her clothes folded on the bedside table. She shifted her position, wanting to get them.

“Ouch!”

Her body ached terribly. While dressing, Pei Xi noticed the marks on her body, especially her breasts, which were heavily soiled.

Pei Xi blushed and quickly put on her clothes. She just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.

These clothes must have been packed by that man and placed on the bedside table; she remembered throwing them on the floor last night…

Hmm? There was something else next to the clothes. Pei Xi picked it up and saw a room key and a piece of paper with a name and phone number written on it.

Si Ruohan!

Pei Xi bit her lip, staring at the paper. This man had that name? It was quite nice.

She looked at the table again and found nothing else besides the paper!

Pei Xi wondered, why was there only a piece of paper left? Why wasn’t there a check or a large stack of cash like in novels?

She was a materialistic person; she preferred real money to flimsy pieces of paper!

What use was her contact information? She was the one who provoked him last night; how could she possibly contact him? Did she have no shame?

Besides, the man looked respectable in his suit, but he didn’t even have a business card; she had to write it by hand.

Could she have really met a young master from a club?

Pei Xi’s mind raced with these thoughts. Whatever! It was already done; there was no use regretting it now.

Pei Xi got dressed, and when she stood up, her legs were still trembling slightly. She had been drunk last night, but she hadn’t lost her memory. Pei Xi remembered the passionate scene from last night.

Pei Xi cursed Si Ruohan inwardly, this bully! She had already said no, no, but he still wouldn’t stop; he was really driving her crazy.

Pei Xi roughly ran her fingers through her hair, picked up her small bag from the floor, and found her phone.

She checked the time and saw a message from her best friend asking her to call her when she woke up.

Pei Xi assumed her friend needed something urgent, so she called. The call

was answered quickly.

“Hey, Xiao Xi, you’re finally awake! Are you at the hotel or back at school?”

“Just woke up, still at the hotel, going back later.” Pei Xi didn’t say much; her voice was a little hoarse, afraid of saying too much and making a mistake.

The person on the other end could tell Pei Xi’s voice was off, but hearing she’d just woken up, they assumed it was because she hadn’t had any water.

“I have something to tell you. Didn’t you want a house? I have one here. My boyfriend mentioned it when he brought breakfast; he happened to see the landlord upstairs putting up a flyer. You’ve been here before; the price is reasonable. Do you want to come and take a look? These are in h  igh demand, so decide quickly if you want one.”

Pei Xi was really anxious about finding a house! Hearing such good news, she certainly wouldn’t miss it.

“Yes, yes, I’ll go this afternoon.”

Pei Xi had originally planned to go now, but it would be lunchtime by then, and she didn’t want to disturb her best friend and boyfriend. She could only go in the afternoon.

Pei Xi hung up the phone and quickly took a shower. Looking at the spots on her neck, she cursed herself inwardly.

Luckily, she had bought a new set of cosmetics with her best friend yesterday, which included concealer; otherwise, she would have been too embarrassed to go out today.

It took her a while to get ready. Pei Xi put away her spoils from yesterday before opening the door to go downstairs. As

soon as she opened the door, Pei Xi scanned the number on the door and froze. She quickly took out her room card to check it again.

That’s right! She definitely hadn’t remembered it wrong! Her room number was 885!

But the door she opened was 886?

Looking at the 885 room next door, Pei Xi’s mind went blank. Had she… gone into the wrong room yesterday?

No wonder, no wonder, she didn’t hear a beep when she opened the door yesterday!

Pei Xi stomped her foot. She wanted to go back to yesterday and hit herself a few times. How could she, a top student, make such a low-level mistake?

Sure enough, alcohol is really not a good thing!

See! The drunken promiscuity in novels really exists.
