They even dragged Tsunade, one of the Sannin, into the Main God Space?!
While Shu was still trying to process the situation, Tsunade had already risen to her feet.
Her fist clenched as she prepared to smash a Chakra-Enhanced Strength punch straight into his face.
“Tsunade-sama!
Please show mercy!
It was an accident!
We’re on the same side—I’m a Konoha shinobi too!” Shu immediately dropped to his knees.
No joke.
With his flimsy body, taking one punch from Tsunade would save everyone the trouble of trying to resuscitate him.
Whoosh!
The violent gust from her fist stung Shu’s cheeks, but her knuckles stopped barely an inch from his face.
Tsunade studied the man in front of her.
He looked to be in his twenties and was fairly handsome.
There was an Uchiha fan on his clothes and a Konoha forehead protector on his head.
‘Tch.
One of those damn Uchiha brats?’ She snorted and withdrew her fist, then quickly circulated chakra through her body, purging the lingering effects of the alcohol.
Shu finally exhaled.
‘I nearly died before my first mission even started!
That damn Main God’s teleportation almost sent me straight to the afterlife!’ He hurriedly changed the subject.
“Tsunade-sama, what happened just now really was an accident.
Take a look around first.
Something about this place is very wrong.” “Hm?” Tsunade glanced around.
They were inside an unfamiliar room, and the furnishings looked nothing like the hot spring inn where she had stayed the previous night.
Three other people were lying unconscious on the floor—two men and one woman.
Two of them carried ninja tools but wore no forehead protectors, making them most likely wandering shinobi.
The other wore plain clothes like a farmer and was probably an ordinary civilian.
‘Kidnapping?’ Tsunade sneered inwardly.
Even if she had been completely drunk, there were hardly any people in the shinobi world capable of abducting her without making a sound.
Shizune had been nearby as well.
If this wasn’t kidnapping, then there was only one other possibility.
Genjutsu.
Tsunade’s expression tightened as she immediately formed a hand seal.
“Release!” Nothing happened.
Her chakra flowed smoothly through her body without the slightest sign of interference.
She clearly wasn’t trapped in a genjutsu.
Then there was the strange watch around her wrist…
Her expression darkened.
‘Don’t tell me this really is kidnapping.’ At that moment, the other three people began waking one after another.
“Hiss…
My head…” One of the wandering shinobi was the first to climb to his feet.
He stared around in confusion before spotting Shu’s forehead protector, then his gaze froze on Tsunade.
“K-Konoha shinobi?!
Wait, that blonde hair…
that figure…” He stumbled backward in fright.
“You’re Princess Tsunade, one of the Sannin?!” The second wandering shinobi jolted awake and immediately reached for the kunai at his waist.
“Damn it!
Did you Konoha bastards kidnap us?!
Where are we?
If you’re going to kill us, then get it over with!
Don’t think you’ll torture any information out of me!” The civilian woman woke as well, trembling from head to toe.
“N-Ninja-sama…” Her voice quivered with tears.
“I really don’t have any money, and I don’t know anything!
Please, just let me go home…” The three of them began talking over one another, instantly filling the room with enough noise to make anyone’s head ache.
“Shut up!” Tsunade was already in a terrible mood.
Hearing them babble nonstop made a vein twitch at her temple.
She suddenly raised her right leg and stomped down.
Heavenly Foot of Pain!
BOOM!
The entire room shook violently.
The floor shattered outward from beneath Tsunade’s heel, and a terrifying crack tore across the room until it stopped directly in front of the two wandering shinobi.
Silence instantly fell.
Cold sweat rolled down both men’s foreheads.
The civilian woman nearly fainted on the spot.
At that moment, a voice suddenly echoed directly inside everyone’s mind.
[Mission begins.] [Current World: Uzumaki] [Introduction: Kurouzu-cho is an isolated town shrouded in mystery.
Strange changes are already beginning, and everyone has their own spiral…] [Main Mission: Survive in Kurouzu-cho for 5 days.
Completion Reward: 1,000 Reward Points.] [Note: Leaving the boundaries of Kurouzu-cho is forbidden.
Violators will be erased!] Tsunade’s expression changed sharply.
“Who the hell is playing tricks?!
Show yourself!” No one answered.
The room remained so quiet that even a dropped needle could have been heard.
Meanwhile, Shu’s face had already turned pitch-black.
‘Uzumaki?
My very first mission world is actually Uzumaki?!’ He had read Junji Ito’s famous horror manga in his previous life and remembered the plot far too clearly.
Kurouzu-cho was practically a death trap.
Under the influence of the curse, flowing water, plants, buildings, and even human beings would eventually twist into horrifying spiral monstrosities.
By the end of the story, every single person in Kurouzu-cho…
No exceptions.
No survivors.
Everyone died!
‘Starting me off in a nightmare like this?
The Main God really doesn’t want anyone surviving, does it?!’ Shu had expected his first mission to be some ordinary zombie world where he could simply slaughter a few walking corpses.
Instead, the Main God had thrown him straight into a supernatural survival horror scenario.
He forced himself to calm down and once again examined everyone in the room.
Tsunade was an absurdly powerful outlier, but aside from her, there were only two wandering shinobi and one completely ordinary civilian.
Apparently, the Main God Space recruited people from a very broad range.
It definitely wasn’t limited to Konoha.
At this point, all Shu could do was look at the bright side.
Fortunately, the Main God had only issued a survival mission.
They weren’t being ordered to destroy the source of the curse.
If they only needed to endure the next few days, there might still be a way out.
He remembered that the events of Uzumaki unfolded over quite a long period.
More than ten days passed between the first strange incidents and Kurouzu-cho’s complete destruction.
‘As long as I don’t go looking for trouble, surviving here for five days shouldn’t be impossible…’ More importantly, there was a Kage-level powerhouse standing right beside him.
‘With Tsunade taking the front line, our chances of surviving should be pretty damn good.’ ‘Maybe I can even farm some Reward Points along the way…’ “Hey, Uchiha brat.” Tsunade had noticed the changes in his expression.
She narrowed her eyes at him.
“Judging by that face of yours, you know where we are, don’t you?
And what the hell was that voice inside my head just now?” Facing Tsunade, Shu knew he needed to establish some influence over the conversation first.
He nodded solemnly.
“Tsunade-sama, I know you’re in a hurry, but first, don’t be in a hurry.” A vein immediately bulged on Tsunade’s forehead.
“Cut the crap!” Shu decided not to push his luck.
“I do know a little.
Think carefully.
The existence that brought us here should’ve already placed some basic information directly into your mind.” Tsunade stared suspiciously at Shu for several seconds.
After confirming that the brat probably wasn’t stupid enough to joke around at a time like this, she finally closed her eyes and searched through the unfamiliar memories that had suddenly appeared inside her head.
As she gradually digested the information, her expression changed again and again.
Countless worlds?
The Main God Space?
Completing missions earned something called Reward Points?
And those Reward Points could supposedly be exchanged for all kinds of bloodlines, ninjutsu, abilities, and treasures.
It could even grant enough power for someone to become a god?!
Yet none of that was what shocked Tsunade the most.
When she finally reached the last part of the information, her eyes snapped open.
Her pupils contracted violently, and her breathing suddenly grew rapid.
Most importantly…
This place could resurrect the dead!
Even if someone’s body had been completely destroyed and their soul had vanished, as long as you possessed enough Reward Points, the Main God could bring the person you wished to revive back into the world.
‘Something this unbelievable…
actually exists?’ …
