Ji Qingyan turned his head away to avoid his kiss. “I haven’t agreed yet, don’t kiss me randomly.”

They had not only kissed necks but even mouths, yet now he was told not to kiss randomly. Lu Qi felt dissatisfied but could only endure it, since their relationship still required Ji Qingyan’s consent.

“Will we be in a relationship, Ji Qingyan?” Lu Qi patiently asked again.Full novel: Wife, Please Pay Attention to Me! — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“You have a decent appearance.” Ji Qingyan lifted his chin, raised his eyelids, and smiled as he asked, “How long will we be together?”

Lu Qi lowered his head and gently kissed the corner of his mouth, making a promise-like statement, “For a lifetime, okay? I want to be with you forever.”

His gaze was sincere and persistent, Ji Qingyan couldn’t help but be drawn to him.

However, a lifetime promise was too naive; the future held many unknown variables, and no one could guarantee that sincerity would never change. Regarding Lu Qi’s words, Ji Qingyan listened casually, not intending to take them seriously.

“Alright.” Ji Qingyan smiled and softly said.

“You agreed!”

In an instant, Lu Qi was overwhelmed by immense joy, grinning foolishly like a young boy, and whispered, “Boyfriend, can I kiss you?”

Before confirming the relationship, his actions were bold and unrestrained, but now even asking for a kiss was done cautiously—so foolish.

“You’re already mine, why ask.”

Ji Qingyan held his face and kissed him, noticing that the other hadn’t yet regained his senses, teasingly said, “Can’t even kiss anymore?”

Ji Qingyan pushed his shoulders away, “Get up, you’re crushing me.”

Getting up from him, Lu Qi lay on the bed, stretched his arm, and pulled Ji Qingyan back, lowering his head to peck his lips again.

“Your kissing skills are really bad.” Ji Qingyan wiped his lips.

“Then learn and teach me.”

“Alright, I’ll discuss with others, learn, and come back to teach you.”

“If you dare kiss someone else, I’ll throw them into the club.”

“Crazy.” Ji Qingyan smiled and kissed him.

“If you dislike my kissing skills, then we’ll just kiss more; accumulation leads to qualitative leaps.”

Ji Qingyan stretched, picked up the phone under the pillow, glanced at the time—it was already past nine o’clock.

He put down the phone, got off the bed, stood by the bedside, fastened his pajama buttons, and looked at the man still sitting in the middle of the quilt, “Will you go back to your place to wash up or…”

“I’ll wash up here, how can I go back looking like this.”

Following his gaze to his abdomen, Ji Qingyan glanced briefly then shifted his gaze, coughing lightly, “I’ll find a spare toothbrush for you.”

The bathroom was filled with steam, Lu Qi stood under the shower washing, hands covered in soap rubbing his shoulders.

He lowered his head and sniffed, speaking to the figure outside, “How much do you like jasmine? Even the soap is jasmine scent.”

The bathroom had a dry-wet separation, separated by a transparent glass. Ji Qingyan stood outside at the sink washing up, brushing his teeth with foam in his mouth, speaking somewhat indistinctly.

“Just bought it randomly at the supermarket, don’t like that scent, there are other soaps on the shelf next to it.”

“It smells quite nice, same as your scent.”

“Boyfriend, want to come in together?”

Ji Qingyan placed his toothbrush into the cup, reached for the towel hanging on the wall, and hastily washed his face. Hearing Lu Qi’s suggestive remark, he firmly declined the invitation.

“Wash yourself.”

After showering, Lu Qi wore Ji Qingyan’s black bathrobe. Their height and build were similar, so the robe fit him perfectly.

As he stepped out of the bathroom, drying his hair, he noticed the previously messy quilt was now neatly spread across the bed. Ji Qingyan, dressed in gray loungewear, sat on the sofa with his back turned.

Hearing footsteps, Ji Qingyan set down his phone and glanced back at him.

Lu Qi strode over, tossed the towel onto the sofa, and stood before him, looking down. He leaned in, cupped Ji Qingyan’s chin, and kissed him.

“Are you hungry?”

Ji Qingyan nodded slightly. “A little.”

“Then I’ll make breakfast.” Lu Qi glanced down at the oversized bathrobe and said, “I think I need to change.”

“The walk-in closet is over there. Pick something yourself.” Ji Qingyan gestured toward the closet.

Lu Qi wrapped an arm around his shoulder and pulled him along into the walk-in closet. “I don’t know how to choose. Help me.”
