Here.

Wanqing had removed her makeup and was preparing to leave the set when, at a corner, someone suddenly grabbed her wrist.

Immediately afterward, a tall figure embraced her from behind.Full novel: Wild Desire! Rose’s Seduction — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

She was all too familiar with this person’s presence and instinctively wanted to call out.

But then it occurred to her—if Qi Yan found out about this, would he think she still had some unclear entanglement with Fu Si Yu?

Wanqing stopped struggling. Instead, she looked up at this important figure dressed in an exquisite suit, her tone devoid of any emotion.

“Why isn’t Boss Fu spending time with your little lover? What brings you here?”

Fu Si Yu stared at her. “You are my only lover.”

His handsome, sharp eyebrows were tightly furrowed, making anyone who saw them uneasy.

She gritted her teeth and said, “Boss Fu has worked so hard to reach your position today. Are you really going to offend the Qi family for an insignificant outsider like me? Uncle Fu and Old Tang would probably be furious with you, wouldn’t they?”

The man sighed, as if helpless or perhaps mocking, and released her. His gloomy eyes remained utterly cold.

“Those stubborn old fools should have died long ago. I’ve kept them alive only because they still have some use to me.”

His tone was like that of someone persuading a wayward, mischievous child to return to the right path. “Xiao Wan, come home with me. You shouldn’t get too close to the Qi family.”

Wanqing smiled self-deprecatingly. “Home? I haven’t had a home since I was nine.”

“Fu Si Yu, I’m very grateful that you took me in for ten years. That’s why I won’t accept anything Uncle Fu offers me—because I’m grateful to you. I’ll never compete with you for anything in this lifetime.”

“You said you wanted to become the leader of Anxin Society, so I played along with your act in front of Uncle Fu, making him willingly hand over the Dark Dragon Gang to you. Now that you’ve gotten everything you wanted, can you let me go?”

She spoke clearly enough, but Fu Si Yu’s expression barely changed. He reached out and gently tucked her slightly disheveled hair behind her ear.

“Little lover, be good.”

She forcefully pushed his hand away. A conditioned physical memory made her inexplicably afraid. “Fu Si Yu, don’t touch me again!”

Staggering backward in a daze, she retreated.

“We’re even now. You did me a favor, but I also endured your torment for ten years without a word. Now that you’ve smoothly obtained everything you wanted, just let me go!”

Fu Si Yu stepped closer, gripping her chin firmly. His thumb rubbed the spot he touched, neither lightly nor heavily. “How could I let you go?”

“Xiao Wan… I’ve invested so much effort and energy in you. Do you think I’ll just let you go because you say so? As long as you’re alive in this world, you belong to me. Be good and listen to me.”

Wanqing’s hair stood on end, and her teeth chattered.

Although she was strong, Fu Si Yu had an absolute advantage in both height and build. She couldn’t struggle at all and could only grit her teeth and ask, “Fu Si Yu, what exactly do you want?”

Fu Si Yu narrowed his eyes slightly, gradually increasing the pressure of his grip.

“I want to see the look of agony on your face when you’re on the brink of death. I want to see you cry and shed tears…”

An immense sense of suffocation and pain surged from her neck, and the familiar terror once again consumed her consciousness.

Her blood seemed to freeze in that instant, making it impossible for her to breathe.

Fu Siyu gazed with satisfaction at Wanqing’s current disheveled state.

“Xiao Wan, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen you like this. I miss it.”

“You pervert…” Wanqing lowered her head and bit fiercely into the fleshy part between Fu Siyu’s thumb and index finger on his right hand, sinking her teeth deep and hard as if venting her anger.

Fu Siyu grabbed her hair and pulled it back, but Wanqing clenched her teeth stubbornly, refusing to let go.

A bitter, metallic taste of blood flooded her mouth, and Wanqing finally couldn’t stand it anymore, frowning as she released her bite.

The hand gripping her neck also loosened, and Wanqing slumped to the ground, disgustedly spitting out two mouthfuls of bloody saliva.

“Keep dreaming! I’d rather die than shed a single tear in front of you!”

A ring of bleeding teeth marks appeared on the fleshy part of Fu Siyu’s hand. He didn’t seem to feel any pain, not even letting out a grunt.

His gaze returned to Wanqing, his deep voice filled with coldness.

“Xiao Wan, was that fun?”

Wanqing lifted her sleeve to wipe her mouth and cursed, “You’re sick!”

She knew she shouldn’t provoke him further, but this was just her nature. Bowing her head and submitting meekly was impossible. At most, she’d endure another beating—she was used to it by now and didn’t care if it happened one more time.

Yet, there wasn’t a trace of anger on Fu Siyu’s face. His unreadable eyes stared at her for a long while.

“Xiao Wan, you’ve changed. You’re not like yourself anymore.”

Wanqing was utterly exhausted by now. She glanced around, walked over to a wall covered entirely in mirrors, and sat ungracefully on the floor, leaning her back against the wall. She closed her eyes, refusing to look at him.

“Fu Siyu, that timid little girl who endured all your beatings and insults is dead.”

“Get up!” Fu Siyu roughly yanked her to her feet. “Do you even remember what your status is?”

Wanqing let him drag her up without resistance. “My status? What status? The ‘perfect lover’ of a gang boss? Or the aloof, distant female celebrity?”

Fu Siyu’s hypocritically smiling face instantly darkened.

He coldly stared at the mirror behind her. The smooth surface reflected eyes that were icy, gloomy, and sharp as a hawk’s.

“You think terminating the contract will help? Look at yourself now. You keep saying you’re Qi Yan’s person, but does he even care about you?”

“You think you’ve found a backer? Ridiculous. He hasn’t even publicly acknowledged you as his. How much sincerity do you think he has for you? In his eyes, you’re utterly worthless.”

His tone was mocking, utterly convinced that it wouldn’t be long before she came crawling back to him in tears.

“If you come back to me now, there’s still time.”

Fu Siyu glanced indifferently at the teeth marks on his hand. “Apologize to me, and I can pretend none of this ever happened.”

Wanqing sighed. “Typical arrogant man.”

Just then.

A fist suddenly appeared out of nowhere, landing hard on Fu Siyu’s face.

“Get the hell out of here! You’re nothing but bad luck!”

The newcomer shielded her behind him. “Grandma, did he bully you?”

Su Sili was holding a large bag of ice packs, his eyes filled with intense disgust.

“Fu, you just won’t go away, will you? Can’t you survive without clinging to my grandma?!”

Su Sili was several years younger than Fu Siyu, agile and quick. Not satisfied with just one punch, he swiftly threw another before Fu Siyu could react.

“Consider these two punches as payback for that foolish woman of yours!”
