The car door closed, and the man’s lips pressed into a thin line.

Outside the window, traffic flowed like a river.

Skyscrapers flashed by in rapid succession as the woman watched the Anxin Society gradually disappear in the rearview mirror, a faint smile curling her red lips.Full novel: Wild Desire! Rose’s Seduction — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

She opened her palm, revealing a crystal-clear sapphire necklace resting in its center.

No music played in the car, only the faint scent of cool sandalwood lingered in the air.

Whether it was an illusion or not, the air seemed to carry a hint of refreshing sweetness.

Qi Yan focused on the traffic lights ahead, his expression indifferent.

Behind his glasses, his eyes were dark and inscrutable, as if he cared about nothing.

This man exuded a cold, alluring magnetism.

In the flickering light and shadows, Wanqing tilted her head, brushing aside her dark, wavy hair.

Meeting his cool gaze, she smiled brightly.

“Thank you, Second Master, for helping me retrieve the necklace.”

She had secretly slipped this necklace into his pocket last night.

She couldn’t guarantee that sleeping with him would grant her the right to negotiate a deal, but she could create another opportunity to meet.

Qi Yan remained silent, his gaze sweeping over her, his glasses reflecting her radiantly smiling face.

Her makeup today was exceptionally light, yet her lips were strikingly vivid, exuding a refined, cold allure that was almost aggressive—so beautiful it was impossible to look away.

Like a wild rose blooming in the night, she radiated an intoxicating softness and charm.

A natural-born temptress.

In the dim darkness, his eyes grew even more profound, carrying a hint of danger within their depths.

“You have quite the nerve.”

The woman lowered her lashes, her mind swirling with thoughts.

If I didn’t have the nerve, how would I have gotten the chance to ride in your car, Second Master?

Her red lips curved upward as she rested her chin on one hand, staring intently at him.

Her captivating fox-like eyes shimmered in the dim light, like a tranquil lake reflecting a pool of moonlight, capable of ensnaring souls.

“Second Master, don’t you like those with nerve?”

The car stopped at a red light. Qi Yan lowered his head, casually unfastening his cuff.

“Oh? What makes you think I like those with nerve?”

He rested his arm on the car window, locking eyes with her, his gaze roaming over her face with a hint of mockery.

“Care to elaborate, Miss Wan?”

The simple words took on an entirely different tone when spoken by him.

She blinked at him playfully. “I can’t say for sure whether Second Master likes those with nerve.”

As she spoke, she suddenly leaned in, pressing close to his ear.

“But I know you definitely like them big.”

Her bewitching red lips, like a vibrant crimson rose, bloomed slowly before him, exuding a seductive and enchanting allure.

Her warm breath brushed against his ear. He tilted his head slightly, catching a glimpse of the pale, deep curve of her chest.

Qi Yan leaned back, the corners of his slender eyes lifting slightly as he met her gaze, his voice low and decadent.

“They are quite big.”

“…”

Meeting his intense gaze, Wanqing felt a momentary daze.

So handsome.

Truly a man favored by the gods.

Qi Yan tapped his fingers on the steering wheel. “Miss Wan?”

She hurriedly changed the subject. “I think we’re blocking the cars behind us.”

Horns blared from behind. Qi Yan withdrew his gaze, turned the steering wheel, and drove into another side road.

Outside the window, traffic sped by, but inside the car, silence settled in.

Wanqing shook her head, sighed quietly to herself, took the agreement out of her bag, signed her name, and placed it in the center console.

“Thank you, Second Master, for thinking highly of me. Rest assured, I am a person of great integrity when it comes to contracts. I guarantee I’ll be available whenever you call.”

After saying this, she turned to look out the window.

It was strange, really. Yesterday, when she was about to sign the agreement, the pen ran out of ink.

It was fate—they were destined to meet again today.

Passing through an intersection, the high-end office building at the corner was brightly lit. The giant billboard, once dazzling under the neon lights, now stood dark and empty.

Her poster had been taken down.

Fu Si Yu’s actions were truly swift.

She quickly sent a WeChat message to Su Sili.

“Little Susu, is Xingxing really willing to terminate my contract?”
