“Let me tell you, I’ve gained so many followers since I started livestreaming recently!

Everyone here absolutely loves my songs!” Amis excitedly shared her gains over the past week or so with Kather, like a child proudly showing off her achievements to a parent.

Her eyes were slightly red, like a little rabbit’s, but her smile was wide, and she looked incredibly happy.Full novel: Wuthering Waves: When the Sweet Peach Girl Appeared by My Side — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“With my help, Chisaki and the others have integrated really well here, too.

Although the process might not have been that pleasant…

the outcome is good!” “Isn’t that obvious?

Our Flying Snow Velvet is a beloved superstar from Star Torch Academy; becoming a major internet celebrity in this world is basically a piece of cake for you, right?” Kather affectionately pinched Amis’s delicate cheeks.

Heaven knows how heartbroken and guilty Kather felt when he saw Amis.

When playing through the wuthering waves storyline, he had been depressed for half a month because of Amis’s sacrifice.

So, when he saw her again in the real world and saw her eyes brimming with tears upon seeing him, he really wanted to slap himself twice and curse himself for being such a piece of trash.

He should have realized it sooner.

Since Denia could accidentally end up here, then the others definitely would too.

Yet, he had still clung to wishful thinking, right up until he bumped into Chisaki at the department store and learned everything from her.

He was such an idiot for letting Amis face everything alone again.

How could a beautiful girl, alone in a strange land, having lost all her luster, manage to integrate into this world and even build a temporary sanctuary for her companions?

He really felt that Amis should curse him out—no matter how harsh, it would make him feel better.

But she didn’t.

She just buried her little pink head into his neck and sobbed softly.

Perhaps it was because Denia was nearby, or maybe because she didn’t want to disturb the neighbors; she didn’t want to affect them.

(Kather, you jerk, I just…

Minos!

I * * * * *) Returning to the present, Amis nibbled on the slightly cold steamed buns that Kather and the others had brought, while sharing the recent situation of the other three companions with Kather.

Denia very considerately left them to their own time, scrolling through her phone aimlessly on the side.

The pale blue light reflected on her delicate face as she wondered about something.

“When I met Lynae, she had just been caught by a traffic police officer for speeding.

I didn’t expect this world to have someone like Mr.

SIGMA, too,” Amis recounted some interesting anecdotes about the other companions.

“She was just standing there being lectured by the police officer, with a crowd of people around her.

It looked so embarrassing.” “So how did you solve it in the end?” “I just played cute to get by~ I’d helped the police officers catch quite a few thieves before, so they recognized me to some extent, which gave me the chance to negotiate,” Amis said proudly, as if to say, ‘Hurry up and praise me!

Hurry up and praise me!’ “Are you happy living here?” Kather smiled and rubbed her head.

“Before, when I lived alone, although everyone in the alley was very kind to me, I definitely still felt a bit lonely.

Now that Chisaki and the others are living with me, I feel very happy,” Amis said, beaming, her eyes curving into crescents.

“But, without you here, I always feel like something is missing.” “Then have you never thought about taking the initiative to come find me?

You should know I wouldn’t refuse,” Kather asked, feigning seriousness.

“It’s not that I haven’t thought about it, but I felt it wouldn’t be right,” Amis explained.

“Back then, I let you go because I didn’t want to cause trouble for you, the great hero of Solaris.

Even though this world is very peaceful, we’re all quite pretty, and you, an ordinary person with no real strength, would definitely be in big trouble if you were surrounded by so many beautiful girls.” Amis has always been very sensible, thinking of him both in the game and in reality.

This explained why the remaining three hadn’t taken the initiative to find him; it seemed it was Amis’s doing.

“But it seems my worries were unnecessary now?” Amis looked with a smile at Denia, who was quietly scrolling through her phone on the side.

“You know I don’t do things I’m not confident about,” Kather flicked her nose.

“Haven’t you done enough things that you weren’t confident about?” Amis teased, glancing sideways at Kather.

Kather choked, suddenly not knowing how to respond.

You have to admit, she was actually right.

“The one beside you, that’s Denia, right?” Amis shifted the topic to Denia, who had been quietly scrolling through her phone.

“After the decisive battle with Aleph-1, I heard from that shrine maiden that she was controlled by the President of Residual Star Association to resonate with Him at the time, causing you a lot of trouble.” “After that, she suddenly left without saying goodbye.

I thought I wouldn’t have a chance to see her again later; Sigrika was very sad during that time.” “It wasn’t really leaving without saying goodbye…” Denia spoke up, her cherry-pink hair obscuring her eyes, making it impossible to read her emotions.

“I sent everything I wanted to say to her via scheduled emails.” Kather sighed softly and rubbed her head with his slightly rough hand, just like petting a cat.

“Regardless of what joys and sorrows happened in that world, those are just stories from that world.

At least for now, we can start a new chapter.” “Yeah!

That’s right.” Amis completely agreed with Kather’s chicken-soup-for-the-soul words.

“So, Denia, remember to comfort Siggy well when you see her later.

Her grades dropped quite a bit during the time you left, and Principal Losera even gave her special psychological counseling.” “…Yeah.” Denia nodded, her fingertips pausing on the phone screen, as if lost in thought.

…

Half an hour later.

“Thank you for your trouble, junior Lynae, even though it wasn’t on your way, you still went out of your way to take me home,” Sigrika said, feeling a bit embarrassed.

She had spent too long in the bird section of the zoo, and by the time she realized it, she had already missed the bus back to the apartment.

“We’re all classmates, no need to be so polite,” Lynae winked.

“Aemeath said there’s a surprise waiting for us.

I wonder what it could be?” Chisaki, standing to the side carrying shopping bags, smiled without saying a word.

She, of course, knew exactly what kind of surprise was waiting for them.

“Knock, knock, knock.” Three light, rhythmic knocks sounded on the door.

With a click, the apartment door opened.

Sigrika, standing at the doorway, saw the person behind the door, and her eyes widened abruptly.

“Siggy,” Denia said, unusually reserved, but still wearing the gentle smile that Sigrika was familiar with.

“Welcome home.” “Ya…

Nia…” Tears fell faster than the handbag in her hand.

Sigrika hugged her best friend like the wind, and the falling teardrops shone with crystal light under the warm yellow lights.

“I thought I would never see you again, waaaaah—!” Unlike Amis, Sigrika was someone who wore her emotions on her face; even if she wanted to hide them, she couldn’t.

And this long-awaited, warm reunion heralded the grand resurgence of the Star Torch Academy student group in this world.
