Yin Yanxiu?

Taotao looked at the name on the talisman and tilted her head in confusion. Who was this person?

Rong Yao picked up the talisman, silently recited the Cultivation Mantra in her heart, and with a flash of golden light, the talisman shot out from her hand with a whoosh.Full novel: Yandere Demon King Reveals Fox Tail, Teasing the Darling Until She’s Weak-kneed — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Taotao, I need to go out for a bit. You go to sleep.” As she spoke, Rong Yao picked up the Abyss-Devouring Sword beside her and chased after the streak of golden light.

In her past life, before Yin Yanxiu became the Demon King who shook the Three Realms, he had merely been a lowly disciple of the Immortal Gate Sect.

Rong Yao hadn’t known him personally; she had only heard about his evil deeds from her fellow disciples.

Out of jealousy, he had used despicable tricks to injure his fellow disciples at the Immortal Sword Assembly, and he had colluded with the Demon Race to murder his own master.

After he suffered eighty-eight strikes of the Heavenly Thunder Punishment and was expelled from the Immortal Gate Sect, someone claimed to have seen him in the Land of Ultimate Bliss—he had already fallen into the path of Yao.

Later still, he became the Demon King of the Three Realms and returned to bathe the Immortal Gate Sect in blood.

In Rong Yao’s eyes, Yin Yanxiu was simply born wicked—rotten to the core.

Before he could become that brutal Demon King of the future, tonight she had to kill him!

Rong Yao followed the blue spirit butterfly formed from the talisman for quite a while, until it finally stopped in front of a woodshed door.

Rong Yao reached out and touched the butterfly, and in the next second, it dissolved into a wisp of smoke and vanished.

Rong Yao stood at the woodshed door, stunned. Here? But wasn’t this a woodshed?

Disciples of the Immortal Gate Sect all had their own separate quarters—but it could never possibly be a woodshed!

No matter how puzzled Rong Yao was, the spirit butterfly had indeed dispersed right here.

She carefully pushed the door open. The room was dark, and the smell was unpleasant—a damp, moldy odor mixed with a faint stench of medicinal herbs.

Through the bits of moonlight spilling in from the small window, Rong Yao saw a figure lying on the bed.

The young man lay on the bed with his eyes tightly shut. The cold moonlight fell upon him, illuminating his deathly pale face. If not for the faint rise and fall of his chest, he would have looked like a corpse.

Seeing the young man like this, the hand holding the Abyss-Devouring Sword trembled uncontrollably.

“Don’t blame me for being heartless…”

His existence would only bring calamity to all living beings of the Three Realms. For the sake of all the world, she had to kill him!

Rong Yao gathered her courage, raised the Abyss-Devouring Sword, pressed it against the young man’s chest, and stabbed down fiercely!

The first time—it wouldn’t go in.

The second time—it wouldn’t go in.

The third time—it still wouldn’t go in!

Rong Yao opened her eyes and pressed down harder, but it simply wouldn’t pierce through.

She was beginning to wonder now—had that man from her past life been lying to her when he told her the Abyss-Devouring Sword could kill him?

Rong Yao’s small hand touched the young man’s chest through his clothes. His chest was hard. Her gaze fell on his neck—could it be that the Abyss-Devouring Sword needed to cut his throat instead?

Just as Rong Yao was debating whether or not to slit his throat, an icy-cold hand suddenly clamped around her wrist. The bone-chilling sensation made her shudder violently.

She looked up. The young man, whose eyes had been tightly shut, had opened them at some point. A fleeting flash of red light passed through his cold eyes.

Before Rong Yao could react, a hand suddenly clamped around her throat.

The next second, the young man dragged her, pinned by the neck, onto the bed, and the Abyss-Devouring Sword in her hand clattered to the floor.

“Mmph…”

The world spun before Rong Yao’s eyes as the young man pressed her down onto the bed, his body pinning hers, hot breath spilling across her face.

Rong Yao’s scalp tingled. The familiar sensation of being pinned beneath him in her past life surged up, and she instinctively struggled. “Let… let go of me!”

She thrashed like a fish.

Yin Yanxiu’s eyes were bloodshot. Sensing danger, his grip instinctively tightened.

Until he heard a soft whimper. He shook his head violently, and only then did he clearly see the face of the girl beneath him.

Tears glistened in Rong Yao’s eyes as she stared back at the young man’s blood-red gaze fixed on her.

“Bastard, let go of me!”

His eyes were too terrifying at that moment. Rong Yao instinctively kicked at him, but her legs were pinned down without mercy.

Yin Yanxiu’s head felt dizzyingly heavy, his body as if it had been thrown into a fire to roast. The discomfort made his eyes burn red.

Looking at Rong Yao, he thought he must have gone mad—hallucinating at a time like this.

The fragrance from the girl grew stronger, and his body grew hotter. Almost following pure instinct, he leaned toward the fragrant girl, his moist tongue lightly licking her snow-white neck.

The next second, both of them froze.

Yin Yanxiu was stunned. This wasn’t a hallucination?!

When his wet tongue slid across her neck, Rong Yao’s body went rigid. Realizing what he had done, heat rushed through her entire body, her cheeks burning red.

He… he… he was actually licking her!!

That… that bastard!

“Let go of me!”

“Don’t move.”

The young man’s voice was hoarse, his crimson demon pupils locked on her.

The moment he finished speaking, Rong Yao saw red light suddenly surge around his body. Silver fox ears popped up above his head, followed by nine fox tails bursting out behind him.

Rong Yao: “!”

Her gaze fell on his face as three red fox demon markings of the Nine-Tailed Clan appeared on his left cheek.

Rong Yao was stunned. She had spent nearly ten years by his side in her past life and knew he was a half-demon born from a forbidden union between human and yao—his mother was human, and his father was from the ancient Crimson Snake Clan.

In her past life, she had also heard his subordinates say that in order to obtain the most complete ancient Crimson Serpent Bloodline, he had even entered the Hundred Demon Cave to replace his Evil Bone.

So why did he now have the bloodline of the Nine-Tailed Clan?

“Mmph~”

As Rong Yao puzzled over this, a sudden pain shot through her neck. The young man was leaning against her shoulder, his demonized fangs piercing her tender skin.

Rong Yao curled up, trying to retreat, but his tails were wrapped tightly around her limbs, leaving her unable to move.

Until the pain made everything go black before Rong Yao’s eyes, and she completely lost consciousness…

…

The next morning.

Fragments of sunlight streamed through the broken little window into the room.

The young man on the bed slowly opened his eyes. His whole body ached with an indescribable soreness, as if his bones had been shattered.

His palm felt something soft. Looking down, the first thing he saw was the girl’s beautiful face, mere inches from his own. His ink-black eyes widened instantly, and he shoved the girl out of his arms.

“Mmph~”

Rong Yao had been sleeping soundly when she was suddenly shoved hard in her sleep, her soft shoulder slamming into the wall. It hurt quite badly.

The young man shot upright as if electrocuted, staring at the stunningly beautiful girl in the corner of the bed. When he saw her collar slipping down to reveal the purple bite mark on her snow-white neck, his expression turned exceptionally grim.

Rong Yao, half-asleep from the pain, opened her eyes. She was still a bit dazed and hadn’t fully come to her senses.

Seeing the familiar man before her, she thought she was back in the palace in the Ghost Realm. Instinctively, she opened her arms and leaned toward the young man.

“Husband, hug me~”
