Li Yu sat at his desk, solving his practice problems.
Lin Ze had just returned from playing basketball, sweat streaming down his slender neck and his sports jersey already soaked through. He looked at Li Yu and greeted him enthusiastically.
“Still studying so hard? Can you solve it? If not, do you want Ge to teach you?”
“No need, my boyfriend will teach me.” Lin Ze never expected Li Yu to so bluntly expose the relationship between himself and Zhou Lu.
Even though this kind of emotional attachment between two men was already accepted by the general public in this era, Lin Ze wanted to instill his own straight-guy mindset into Li Yu’s head.
He lowered his head and spoke softly in Li Yu’s ear. “Li Yu, actually, I think it would be better for you to date a girlfriend. Girls are much cuter than guys, and they smell nice too, unlike us who sweat all day and smell to death.”
As he spoke, he even brought his sweat-soaked clothes closer to Li Yu.
Li Yu looked at the sweat-drenched shirt coming closer and closer to his nose, his heart feeling a mixture of emotions.
Frowning in disgust, he pushed against Lin Ze’s chest with his hand. “Stop right there! Do you think everyone is like you? If you’re sweating that much, go change your clothes! It smells awful!”
Lin Ze looked helplessly at his good brother’s disgusted expression and could only offer a perfunctory response. “Alright, alright, alright.”
He lifted his shirt and took a deep breath. “It’s not even that smelly. Why are you so disgusted? This is the scent of a real man.”
Watching Lin Ze’s retreating figure as he walked further and further away, Li Yu felt speechless.
Suddenly, a hand draped over his shoulder, and Li Yu jumped in surprise.
Turning his head to see who it was, he sighed and smiled. “What is it? So it’s you, Lu-ge. You’ve been here for a while without making a sound, and I didn’t even know you were standing behind me.”
“Not very long. Just when you were chatting with that brat.” Zhou Lu hummed unhappily at the mention of Lin Ze.
Seeing Zhou Lu’s overflowing jealousy, Li Yu couldn’t help but chuckle. “Aiyah, I already explained to you before, he and I are just brothers! Besides, he likes girls. It’s a pure friendship, Lu-ge, you can rest assured.”

Zhou Lu was still immersed in the tenderness of the kiss he had just shared with Li Yu when suddenly a burlap sack was pulled over his head, and a barrage of heavy punches rained down on his body. The assailant’s strikes grew heavier and heavier with each blow!
He didn’t even have time to put up any resistance!
He roared furiously, “What kind of skill is a sneak attack? You bunch of cowards! If you have the guts, come fight me fair and square!”
Unexpectedly, he heard a sneering laugh nearby, followed by several fists heavily smashing into his waist, abdomen, and face. Every single spot was being ruthlessly battered.
After more than ten minutes, they seemed to receive some kind of instruction and stopped their actions, instead gripping his arms tightly and lifting him up.
The assailant delivered a direct, powerful punch straight to his face!
Compared to the previous blows that landed on him, this punch had far more impact! It was fiercer! Faster! It seemed the attacker had murderous intent, leaving him no path of survival!
Struck by this blow, Zhou Lu’s head buzzed, and his mind went completely blank.
The assailant still seemed unsatisfied and delivered another punch!
Zhou Lu lost consciousness and passed out.
“What kind of trash thinks he’s worthy of kissing Li Yu?”
With a cold, sinister look, the assailant dropped these words before turning around and getting into a car.
