After leaving the South Central Sea conference room, Qian Yingxi immediately ordered the Capital Military Region to mobilize aircraft to head to Jinling.
On the plane to Jinling, Qian Yingxi had someone bring him all the known materials regarding Yang Zhiwen.
During this time, Qian Yingxi began carefully reading all the relevant records of Yang Zhiwen from childhood to the present.
From the records, Qian Yingxi discovered that Yang Zhiwen was an extremely ordinary person.
His family conditions were poor, his academic performance was poor, and his social skills were poor; apart from being slightly handsome, he had almost no distinguishing features.
It could be said that such a person wouldn't attract much attention if dropped on the street.
Yet, this very person became the first Superpower User recorded in Huaguo.
However, what truly concerned Qian Yingxi were the State Security Bureau's findings.
It turned out that Yang Zhiwen had been placed on the State Security Bureau's special watch list two months prior.
Huaguo's State Security Bureau does not have a high profile, whether domestically or internationally.
Compared to America's Central Intelligence Agency, Britain's MI6, or South Korea's NIS, the State Security Bureau seems to have little presence, but this does not mean Huaguo's State Security Bureau is ineffective.
It turned out that some of Yang Zhiwen's abnormal behaviors from two months ago had already attracted the attention of the State Security Bureau.
Two months ago, Yang Zhiwen began purchasing various strange items online in large quantities, including 150 one-meter-long Rebar, and armor plates weighing over 1,000 jin.
Although Huaguo has developed rapidly in recent years, sparking a trend of reviving Huaguo's traditional clothing and ancient Armor, purchasing armor plates online is not uncommon.
However, purchasing over 1,000 jin of armor plates at once is still extremely exaggerated, and more importantly, despite purchasing so many armor plates, not a single piece of Armor appeared online or offline.
Furthermore, according to the State Security Bureau's surveillance, Yang Zhiwen was not an expert or enthusiast in Armor research.
The purchases supporting Yang Zhiwen's large expenditures were due to him exchanging large amounts of Gold last year.
The Gold exchange was not through official channels, but through unofficial means.
Of course, these facts alone were not enough to warrant the State Security Bureau placing him on a key watch list; what truly drew the State Security Bureau's intense focus were his online purchase records from one month ago.
One month ago, Yang Zhiwen purchased 60 hollow Steel Pipes, each over one meter long, with one end drilled open and the other end sealed, and a small hole drilled into the sealed end.
A few days ago, he added another one hundred and eighty of them.
Simultaneously, Yang Zhiwen also purchased large amounts of Sulfur online.
These records led the State Security Bureau to suspect he was secretly manufacturing gunpowder and Matchlock Guns.
In addition to these strange online purchase records, the State Security Bureau also hacked into Yang Zhiwen's phone to investigate his browsing history.
Aside from the Adult Websites that most men browse, the rest of his browsing history was quite bizarre.
Excluding the Adult Websites, Yang Zhiwen's browsing history spanned an extremely wide range, from methods for treating and preventing Cholera, to the detailed material ratios and granulation methods for black gunpowder.
Then, to the firing procedures and manufacturing methods for Matchlock Guns, as well as the manufacturing and advantages of Minié balls.
Following that were searches on the weaving process for plated armor, methods for extracting saltpeter from excrement, and various methods for purifying saltpeter, Sulfur, and charcoal.
These widely varied search records indicated Yang Zhiwen's strange behavior, and more importantly, these search records dated back two and a half years.
Two and a half years ago, Yang Zhiwen's search records were still quite normal, including things like game guides, slightly suggestive female streamers, and Adult Websites.
But two and a half years ago, Yang Zhiwen's search records became completely erratic and spanned vast distances.
More importantly, the State Security Bureau also provided Yang Zhiwen's daily living expenses over the last two and a half years.
According to data from the Water and Electricity Bureau, his monthly water and electricity bills began to drop sharply two and a half years ago.
According to the State Security Bureau's calculations, the amount of water and electricity Yang Zhiwen consumed monthly was insufficient to meet the normal living needs of one person for a month.
At the same time, the amount of food Yang Zhiwen consumed monthly also far failed to match normal consumption.
Estimating based on the quantity of food Yang Zhiwen consumed monthly, his normal food consumption was only one-fifth or less of that of an ordinary person.
Furthermore, neighbors and fellow villagers around Yang Zhiwen also reported that his frequency of appearing in the village decreased significantly two and a half years ago; many times, even though he was home, he was never seen all day, and he rarely turned on lights even at night.
This series of abnormal situations and behaviors made the State Security Bureau realize that Yang Zhiwen was not simple.
After seeing these anomalies, Qian Yingxi also understood that Yang Zhiwen definitely had other secrets, they just hadn't been exposed yet.
At noon, Qian Yingxi arrived at the Jinling Military Region. He didn't even have time for lunch before immediately ordering the Jinling Military Region to dispatch Helicopters to head directly to the Anji Mountain Radar Station.
At three in the afternoon, Qian Yingxi arrived at the Anji Mountain Radar Station and met Yang Zhiwen.
"Hello, young comrade!"
Yang Zhiwen looked at the military uniform-clad elder before him. Although he didn't know him, the three golden stars on his shoulder alone made Yang Zhiwen swallow hard.
Yang Zhiwen already knew about the three golden stars on the shoulder; that military rank was Lieutenant General.
Huaguo no longer had the rank of Marshal, so Lieutenant General was arguably the highest rank in the military.
Yang Zhiwen thought the Lieutenant General he met this morning was already high-ranking enough, but he hadn't expected to meet a Lieutenant General in the afternoon.
"Th-th-that..."
Facing such a figure for the first time, Yang Zhiwen couldn't help but stutter slightly.
"Don't be nervous. I only came to meet you, and I have a few questions I'd like to ask."
"Sit down, let's talk slowly."
"O-okay!"
"Can you tell me about things other than the Superpower matter?"
As soon as Yang Zhiwen sat down, he heard the other party ask a question that exceeded his expectations.
From the question, Yang Zhiwen could tell the other party seemed to know something about the Space Gate.
This greatly surprised Yang Zhiwen, as he had only revealed that he was a Superpower User; he hadn't disclosed any information about the Space Gate whatsoever.
Seeing Yang Zhiwen's expression, Qian Yingxi knew his guess was correct—the other party indeed had secrets yet to be revealed.
"Leader, what I am about to say is even more bizarre than the Superpower matter. I hope you are mentally prepared."
"There is a Space Gate in my cellar that leads to another world."
Since the other party already had some understanding, Yang Zhiwen decided not to hide it any longer and directly explained the matter of the Space Gate.
Then, Yang Zhiwen took out a USB drive from his person.
"This contains videos I took of the Otherworld with my phone."
Afterward, Yang Zhiwen took out a box, opened it, and inside were over 100 Awakening Crystals.
"These are items unique to the Otherworld: Awakening Crystals. Using them gives a certain probability of gaining a Superpower, but the chance is only about 1%. I don't know if Awakening Crystals have the same effect on Blue Star, but they can be researched to some extent."
"Also, there are some plant samples in my Basement that do not exist on Blue Star. You can send people to my house to retrieve them; that should also prove I am telling the truth."
Yang Zhiwen immediately dumped out all the evidence he possessed to prove to Qian Yingxi that he was telling the truth.
Although Qian Yingxi already knew Yang Zhiwen was hiding something, he hadn't expected the hidden matter to be even more astonishing than the existence of a Superpower User.
An Otherworld completely separate from Blue Star—this piece of information was even more shocking than a Superpower User.
While Superpower Users were exaggerated, they were at least within the scope that Blue Star could understand and handle.
But a brand new Otherworld—the ability to understand and handle such a matter was beyond the capacity of most countries on Blue Star.
