Lin Sa suddenly approached Qin Lan, her gaze sharper than ever before:

“What am I afraid of? We’re getting a divorce, why would I worry about these things?”

The corner of her lips curled into a sneer, “You can tell Fu Yanci that I, Lin Sa, only ever wanted his money. Now that I’ve had a daughter, I will demand everything that is due to me and my daughter from him, with interest.”Full novel: You Weren't Here During My Postpartum Confinement, Why Are You Crying Now That I'm Divorcing While Raising Our Child? — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Even if he were standing in front of me, I would tell him these exact words.”

Lin Sa let out a cold laugh, her gaze like arrows, shooting directly at Qin Lan.

Qin Lan was completely stunned and couldn’t help but size Lin Sa up.

How could giving birth to a child change someone so much? This… was this still the same Lin Sa who used to grovel before her?

At the doorway, a tall, dark silhouette stood quietly.

He heard every word Lin Sa spoke.

His deep dark eyes were filled with shock.

If he hadn’t heard it with his own ears, he wouldn’t have believed these words came from Lin Sa.

That young woman who, in his eyes, was proud, frugal, and never cared about branded jewelry… how could she say such things?

What could have possibly provoked her?

A string of questions surged in Fu Yanci’s heart.

As he was lost in thought, a sudden exclamation came from the hospital room.

He looked up and saw Qin Lan about to slap Lin Sa’s face, but Lin Sa grabbed her wrist and yanked her so hard that Qin Lan’s head nearly hit the bed frame.

Fu Yanci quickly stepped forward and pulled Qin Lan behind him.

He looked at Lin Sa, anger instinctively rising, but soon, this rage was quelled by the chilling coldness in Lin Sa’s eyes.

“Sa Sa…”

He couldn’t help but call out, full of surprise.

“I won’t delete Su Yurou’s recording. If you want me not to post it online, transfer fifty million to my account, and I’ll delete it.”

Lin Sa looked at Fu Yanci fearlessly, her cool, aloof eyes devoid of any emotion.

Fu Yanci’s face turned cold, his gaze exuding a sharp, fierce pressure:

“Sa Sa, you’ve gone too far!”

Qin Lan immediately straightened her back, her tone filled with anger and a hint of triumph:

“Fifty million? Yanci, listen to her! Is this what you call not being materialistic? You heard all her outrageous words, right? This is her true face! Now that she’s had a child, her true colors are finally showing!”

Fu Yanci’s cold gaze swept over Lin Sa.

They met each other’s eyes; Lin Sa’s gaze was only icy and unyielding, without a trace of timidity.

“You won’t get a single cent, the recording must be deleted, and you have to apologize to Yurou!”

Qin Lan’s attitude was firm, “Otherwise, don’t even think about continuing with Yanci!”

The corner of Lin Sa’s lips curved up: “I never intended to continue anyway.”

“It doesn’t matter if you don’t give it to me, I’ll find someone to expose it right now.”

After speaking, Lin Sa took out her phone and was about to make a call.

“How long are you going to keep this up!”

Fu Yanci lost his patience, stepped forward, snatched Lin Sa’s phone, and smashed it hard on the ground.

With a loud “crack,” the screen instantly shattered into a spiderweb.

Lin Sa looked down, her heart feeling as if it had been violently torn.

Fu Yanci probably forgot that this phone was a wedding gift he had given her five years ago.

For five years, she had cherished it dearly. She had changed the phone case and wallpaper countless times, but it had never been dropped or scratched, and it was still as good as new.

The phone had long since become an outdated model, but no matter how slow its memory became, she couldn’t bear to replace it, all because it was a wedding gift from Fu Yanci.

But now… the dense cracks on the screen seemed to mock her: in this relationship, she was the only one who had valued it from beginning to end.

“Mom, you go out. I need to speak with Lin Sa alone.”

Fu Yanci’s expression was gloomy, and a terrifying aura emanated from him.

A hint of triumph flashed in Qin Lan’s eyes, but she pretended to be magnanimous, patting Fu Yanci’s shoulder: “Son, talk it out properly. Don’t make a scene at the hospital.”

After saying that, she glared fiercely at Lin Sa and turned to elegantly leave the hospital room.

Silence fell upon the hospital room.

During the confrontation with Qin Lan, Lin Sa had accidentally pulled the arm with the IV drip, causing the needle to shift. The injection site had already swollen significantly, but she felt no pain at all.

She lowered her head, not looking at Fu Yanci.

She had clearly loved him desperately before, but now… all the feelings in her heart had changed, and she could no longer find the love she once had.

Fu Yanci noticed her swollen wound, his brow furrowed slightly. He stepped forward and sat on the edge of the bed.

He took her cold hand to examine it, repositioned the shifted needle, and re-secured the tape.

After doing so, he gently blew on the wound, his tone unconsciously softening:

“Does it hurt? You’re always so careless, not being careful with the IV drip.”

He was always like this.

Every time she thought he would get angry, he would suddenly show tenderness, making the emotions accumulated in her chest feel like a punch hitting cotton, with nowhere to go.

She quickly withdrew her hand, her body instinctively leaning back, putting distance between them:

“If you have something to say, say it. There’s no need for this act.”

Fu Yanci sighed, his voice still gentle:

“Sa Sa, we are a couple, and we have a daughter. Why must we be so distant?”

Lin Sa looked up, meeting his deep, expressive eyes.

In the past, she would have been captivated by this tenderness, but now, she felt nothing:

“I am not the one who made everything distant. Things have reached this point, there’s nothing more to say.”

Fu Yanci let out a wry laugh:

“It’s normal for couples to have disagreements. Why has it reached this point? You always like to complicate simple issues.”

He suddenly reached out and forcefully pulled her into his embrace:

“Alright, fifty million, right? I’ll have the finance department transfer it to your salary card later. Can you promise me that everything stops here? No more fussing, okay?”

He patted her shoulder, his deep, magnetic voice clear and precise, like a professional male host.

Once upon a time, Lin Sa was so infatuated with his mature, steady, and doting side.

But now, like a hedgehog with thorns, she abruptly pushed away his arm that was around her:

“Fu Yanci, can you stop avoiding the important issues like this?”

“Let me tell you, I cannot get over this, and I never will!”

Lin Sa’s eyes suddenly reddened, and her gaze towards Fu Yanci was filled with sharp hatred.

Fu Yanci appeared helpless and innocent. He rubbed his temples, wanting to get angry but still restraining himself:

“What is it? Lin Sa, don’t you think you’re being unreasonable right now?”

“I’m being unreasonable?”

Lin Sa instantly trembled all over, like a cat whose tail had been stepped on:

“Fu Yanci, you spent my entire pregnancy accompanying someone else’s wife, staying by her side even when she gave birth and during her postpartum confinement. Your daughter has been full moon for days, do you even know her name?”

Fu Yanci was suddenly stumped. He opened his mouth, but for a long time, he couldn’t utter a sound.

Lin Sa watched his reaction with cold eyes and couldn’t help but laugh: “No, right?”

Her heart sank further into the abyss. She looked up at the lush green expanse outside the window:

“It’s okay, I didn’t have any hope for you anyway. I’ll register her household, her name will be A Li from now on, Li for divorce, and she’ll take my surname, Lin.”

Fu Yanci’s heart skipped a beat. His expression instantly froze, as if he had turned into a motionless puppet.
