Hearing Nate’s words, Oga Ryo was first stunned for a moment, then, as if he’d heard the biggest joke in the world, he threw his head back and roared with laughter.

“Hahahaha!

Quite the mouth on you, but this world has never been short of dead ducks too stubborn to stop quacking, worthless trash to the end!Full novel: Yu-Gi-Oh: I Can Print My Whole Extra Deck! — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Since you’re in such a rush to reincarnate, I’ll oblige you!” He cut off his laughter abruptly, eyes fixed on Nate with a sinister glare.

“I’ll grind you into shreds with this 4,100-attack [Transcendosaurus Gigantozowler]!

Here’s hoping you can still stand and say things like that once the Duel ends next turn!” At that, Nate didn’t even bother lifting an eyelid.

“Next turn?

You won’t get that chance.

This turn, the Duel ends.” “What did you say?!” Through Oga Ryo’s bewilderment, Nate swept a card cleanly off the top of his Deck.

“My turn.

Draw!” His fingertips brushed the card’s edge as he glanced over the six cards in his hand.

[Goddess with the Third Eye], [Reinforcement of the Army], [Elemental HERO Sparkman], [Elemental HERO Clayman], [Instant Fusion].

And the one he’d just drawn: [Polymerization].

To an ordinary person this hand might look like a pile of vanilla bones and scrap paper, but in Nate’s eyes, this hand couldn’t be better.

“First, I pay 1,000 Life Points to activate the Spell from my hand, [Instant Fusion]!” [Nate, LP: 8000 → 7000] “This card lets me Special Summon a Level 5 or lower Fusion monster from my Extra Deck, treated as a Fusion Summon!

Descend, [Millennium-Eyes Restrict]!” Vmmm!

On the open ground before the buses, the earth suddenly caved in around a mass of writhing, dark-purple flesh.

Then a massive golden eyeball snapped open atop the flesh, countless tendrils thrashing wildly in the air, exuding a suffocating aura of malice.

[Millennium-Eyes Restrict, Level 1, ATK: 0] Once Oga Ryo made out the stats, he first shrank his neck at that aura of malice, but the moment he saw the glaring “0” attack, he couldn’t help sneering.

“My eyes aren’t deceiving me, are they?

You burned a whole 1,000 LP just to call out a piece of garbage with 0 attack?!

Kid!

Don’t tell me you were so nervous you Summoned the wrong monster!” In the Class 1 ranks not far off, Rio Kastle’s beautiful eyes took in the monster that had appeared on the field, and her brows knit faintly.

A Fusion monster with 0 attack…

such an extreme stat usually meant a terrifying effect…

This Class 10 student didn’t seem so simple after all.

Nate paid no attention to Oga Ryo’s words, drawing a card and playing on.

“Next, I activate the Spell [Reinforcement of the Army]!

I add [Elemental HERO Solid Soldier] from my Deck to my hand, then Normal Summon it!” “When [Solid Soldier] is Summoned successfully, I can Special Summon one ‘HERO’ monster from my hand!

Come forth, [Elemental HERO Sparkman]!” Solid Soldier, clad head to toe in silver heavy armor, and Sparkman, wreathed in golden lightning, both burst up from the earth and lined up before Nate.

[Elemental HERO Solid Soldier, ATK: 1300] [Elemental HERO Sparkman, ATK: 1600] Looking at the two monsters that had appeared on the field, Oga Ryo reined in his smile, curled his lip in contempt, and even dug carelessly at his ear.

“What good does calling out a swarm of small fry do?

The highest attack is a mere 1,600.

No matter how many small fry you have, they’re still small fry!” He flung out a hand, pointing at the mountainous dragon towering on his field, and snarled with a grin.

“Face reality!

You can’t even get past my [Sabersaurus]!” Nate lifted his head, his gaze cold as a blade, the chill radiating from it actually making Oga Ryo take half a step back without meaning to.

“You really do talk an unusual amount of crap.” “You…!” Before Oga Ryo could blow up, Nate had already slammed a card hard into the Duel Disk’s card slot!

“I activate the Spell, [Polymerization]!!” “I use [Solid Soldier] on the field, plus [Clayman] and [Goddess with the Third Eye] in my hand, three monsters in total, as Fusion materials!” Boom!!

Three beams of light shot to the heavens, and a massive Fusion vortex tore open in the sky like a black hole, thunder rolling across the firmament.

“Ancient phantom beast awakening within the earth, become the raging gale that rends all things!

Fusion Summon, [Guardian Chimera]!!!” Roar!!!

A peerlessly violent shriek shattered the clamor of the whole scene!

A terrifying monster with three heads and vast sky-blotting wings burst forth through the air, a surge of dark-purple magic instantly sweeping across the entire clearing!

[Guardian Chimera] [Level 9 / Beast / Fusion / Effect] [ATK: 3300] “3,300 attack?” Oga Ryo reined in the smile at the corner of his mouth, frowning slightly.

“And that’s not all!” Nate raised his hand and called out.

“I activate [Guardian Chimera]’s effect!

When this card is Fusion Summoned successfully using a Spell card, I draw and destroy the opponent’s card based on where the materials came from!

I used 2 materials from my hand and 1 from the field, so I draw 2 cards from my Deck and destroy 1 card on your field!” “Continuing the chain, I activate the effect of [Solid Soldier], which was sent to the Graveyard as material!

I Special Summon [Clayman] from my Graveyard in Defense Position!” “Effect resolution!” Nate’s eyes blazed.

“First, [Clayman] revives!

Then…

[Guardian Chimera]’s effect activates, shattering your [Transcendosaurus Gigantozowler]!!” The instant the words landed, Chimera’s three heads opened their bloody maws all at once, and a devastating pillar of magic light erupted with a roar!

Amid a piercing scream, Oga Ryo’s ace, with its full 4,100 attack, was ripped to pieces within the terrible thunder!

As the smoke and dust cleared, Nate calmly and unhurriedly drew two cards from his Deck.

By now, on the field, Nate had not only gained a monster with 3,300 attack, he’d also pocketed an extra monster to hold the line, and his hand still stood at three cards!

Dead silence.

A single simple Fusion had not only pulled out a 3,300 monster, but blown up the opponent’s strongest ace, set up an additional Summon along the way, and even replenished two cards in hand?!

What kind of godlike play was this?!

“This…

what kind of build is this?” A trace of genuine emotion surfaced on Rio Kastle’s exquisite face.

She couldn’t quite read Nate’s Deck.

She knew the monster Guardian Chimera.

A generic Fusion monster, but Hero Decks almost never ran it.

And they certainly wouldn’t use materials like those to Summon it.

But what baffled her most wasn’t the materials used to Summon the monster.

It was that this bottom-class Class 10 boy actually understood how to maximize the use of card effects to generate resources.

A single Fusion had not only Summoned a high-attack monster…

but, in the very act of performing an advanced Summon, had completely offset the hand cards spent on the Fusion through chains in the Graveyard and on the field, and even cleared out the opponent’s core in the same breath!

Such a fluent flow of resources, wringing every last drop of synergy out of each scrap card…

there was no way a student from a bottom-feeder class could pull this off.

The look in Rio Kastle’s eyes toward Nate changed completely.

It was now utterly filled with an intensely strong curiosity.

In an environment where most people cared only about raw attack stats and rarity, the dueling mindset Nate had displayed was simply on a different dimension from everyone else!

This guy…

was rather interesting.

Watching Nate out on the field, the corner of the girl’s mouth curved up in a faint, almost imperceptible arc.
