Ji Leyu: !!!

“I wanted to see you wear it, not to wear it myself,” he retorted.

“Well, it just so happens,” Lin Fei said with a slight nod, “I want to see you wear it too.”Full novel: Zi Fei Yu — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Ji Leyu didn’t expect Lin Fei to use his own words against him and snorted.

But soon, he seemed to think of something and smiled, “Do you really want to see me wear it?”

Lin Fei teased him deliberately, “I didn’t want to at first, but now I do.”

Ji Leyu, with his crescent-shaped eyes, leaned closer and said, “If I wear it, then in the future, when you go out to play such games, you’re not allowed to pair up with anyone else or act as a couple with anyone else.”

Lin Fei: …

How does he manage to be so unique and original every time when it comes to hitting the key points?

Seeing that Lin Fei didn’t respond, Ji Leyu took it as agreement.

He looked at the wedding dress in his hands, placed the phoenix crown back on the stand, and draped the wedding dress again. Crossing his arms, he pinched the hem of his clothes and lifted it slightly, revealing a glimpse of his white and lean waist.

Seeing that he was really going to change, Lin Fei quickly stopped him, pulling the hem back.

“You really are going to wear it.”

Ji Leyu nodded, completely unembarrassed. “Didn’t you want to see?”

Lin Fei was amused by his obedient expression—he was being quite well-behaved at the moment.

“I was just teasing you,” Lin Fei said with a hint of helplessness.

“Then about what I just said.”

Lin Fei reached out and pinched his face. “When have I ever been out without you? And when you’re around, is there anyone else?”

Ji Leyu understood from Lin Fei’s words that he had agreed.

He smiled with satisfaction, his face, recently pinched by Lin Fei, flushed and radiant like the evening tide.

“So, I don’t need to look up the customs of the past dynasties? No need to write a reflection?”

Lin Fei nodded, walking over to the rack to help arrange the wedding dress draped over it.

Ji Leyu watched his movements, his eyes following Lin Fei’s white jade-like fingers as they glided over the red fabric, as delicate and beautiful as snow-laden peach blossoms.

“But I really do want to see you wear it,” Ji Leyu said softly.

Lin Fei paused his actions and turned to look at Ji Leyu.

Ji Leyu spoke with sincerity, “Really, you’d look great in red.”

He blinked and added earnestly, “Or you could try the men’s outfit. That one should suit you well.”

Lin Fei glanced at the clothes in front of him, slightly pensive.

Although the clothes were clean, they had been worn before. He had a mild obsession with cleanliness and, even though he knew they had been washed, he still felt uneasy.

But Ji Leyu seemed really eager to see it.

“Do you really want to see it that much?” he asked Ji Leyu.

Ji Leyu nodded eagerly, his gaze sincere and earnest.

Lin Fei thought for a moment, then suddenly seemed to come to a decision.

“You will see it,” he said, hanging the clothes back up as they were.

Ji Leyu’s eyes lit up with surprise. “Really?”

Lin Fei simply nodded, not saying much more.

Lin Fei had always been reliable with Ji Leyu. Even a brief “mm” from him, with no time or place specified, assured Ji Leyu that he would definitely make it happen.

Ji Leyu immediately smiled, his heart feeling like it was bathed in honey—his brother is really wonderful.

So good to him.

Ji Leyu quietly hugged Lin Fei from behind, nuzzling against his shoulder like a small animal, playfully expressing his joy.

“Don’t you really want to see it?” Ji Leyu paused, peeking out with soft eyes and asking gently.

His bangs had become a bit disheveled from being nuzzled, giving him a youthful, innocent appearance, pure and unblemished. “I can wear it for you, just for you alone.”

Lin Fei turned to him, and Ji Leyu’s eyes sparkled like a galaxy.

“No need,” Lin Fei said.

“Why not?” Ji Leyu asked, puzzled. “Do you think I wouldn’t look good in it?”

How could that be? Lin Fei looked at Ji Leyu’s delicate and radiant face. The red wedding attire for men still wasn’t put away, and the red fabric contrasted with Ji Leyu’s face, glowing like the springtime sun—beautiful and striking. Even if he wears women’s clothing, he would likely look just as good.

But Lin Fei couldn’t bear it.

Empathizing with Ji Leyu, Lin Fei couldn’t bring himself to let Ji Leyu do it.

Perhaps Ji Leyu didn’t mind, as he had brought it up voluntarily and didn’t seem to consider it a big deal, even showing a hint of childish anticipation.

Yet Lin Fei always had a soft spot for him, and even if Ji Leyu didn’t care, he himself couldn’t bear to let him.

He was indifferent and aloof towards everyone, treating them like stones or flowers by the roadside. Even when others were heartbroken and had cried all their tears, he remained silent and unmoved.

Yet, with Ji Leyu, his tenderness seemed to be a bit more.

Although he was not a particularly sentimental person, feelings always arose when it came to Ji Leyu.

“There’s no need for that,” Lin Fei said gently.

“Why?” Ji Leyu persisted, “Do you want to see girls in it?”

Lin Fei: …

Lin Fei turned around and hung the red wedding dress back up. “You’re a boy, there’s no need for you to wear girls’ clothes.”

“I don’t mind.” Ji Leyu rested his chin on Lin Fei’s shoulder, his voice soft. “Besides, I’m only wearing it for you.”

He blinked his eyes and said with a hint of grievance, “You don’t want to see it?”

Hearing the dissatisfaction and grievance in his tone, Lin Fei turned and pinched his face, his voice both helpless and affectionate. “You look very good.”

He added, “You look great just like this.”

“Good boy.” Lin Fei patted his head.

Ji Leyu heard Lin Fei’s “good boy” and stopped insisting, instead sweetly asking him, “Do you think I’m good-looking?”

Lin Fei nodded. It was an undeniable fact. Ever since he was young, Ji Leyu had been able to deceive others and make them spin around, thanks to his beautiful and innocent-looking face that was always endearing.

Ji Leyu tilted his head, his smile soft and faint.

“Then you can look at me more,” he said softly.

Xiaoyu’s new rule: No couple books or acting as a couple with others.

Feifei: Don’t worry, you won’t give others that chance.

Xiaoyu: …That does seem to be the case.
