5 If you have no other business here, please leave.
Either way, I am not joining you guys.
A person should know his own limits and act according to his actual capabilities.
Even the top game companies in the industry with all their resources can’t guarantee they will make a masterpiece.
Yet you think you can just pull it off?
No, you can’t, right?
So, you guys should really stop dreaming.
Akira Fūju spoke rapidly, cutting off Tomoya Aki before the boy could even open his mouth.
Furthermore, I don’t see how a combination of a second-rate writer who just barely crawled out of a slump and an adult content illustrator like you two could ever create the ultimate galge you keep talking about.
Fūju added that final sentence just to hammer his point home.
How do you know about that!
Hearing Fūju’s words, Utaha Kasumigaoka and Eriri Spencer Sawamura didn’t even have time to process the actual insult.
Instead, they were completely thrown off by something else entirely.
Fūju actually knew their secret identities.
Well, obviously, because I watched the anime!
Fūju really wanted to say that out loud in his head.
Even though that was the absolute truth, there was no way he could actually voice it out loud to them.
Back when you guys were having a loud discussion at the family restaurant a while ago, I happened to be sitting nearby and overheard everything.
So, I found out automatically, Fūju said, weaving a perfectly reasonable lie on the spot.
So that’s what happened.
Utaha Kasumigaoka and the others didn’t question it any further.
After all, they really had held meetings at family restaurants outside of school countless times.
Because of that, the possibility of someone accidentally spotting them wasn’t far-fetched at all.
In the next second, right under their startled gazes, Fūju pulled a laptop out of his school bag and powered it on.
Then, they watched as a highly specific webpage displayed clearly across the screen.
Ah…
The moment her eyes landed on the screen, Eriri Spencer Sawamura froze instantly before letting out a loud shriek.
That was because she was looking directly at her own personal website.
It was the exact platform where she uploaded and published her self-published adult manga.
The page currently open didn’t just display her prominent pen name, Eri Kashiwagi, but it also clearly featured the adult comics she had personally drawn.
If the people looking at the screen were just acquaintances who already knew her secret, it wouldn’t have been a huge issue.
But right now, there were other people in the room who were completely in the dark about her secret identity.
Those people were Shizuka Hiratsuka, Yukino Yukinoshita, and a random student with the eyes of a dead fish whom she didn’t even know.
Among them, the presence of Shizuka Hiratsuka and the dead-fish-eyed student posed the absolute biggest threat to her secret.
Shizuka Hiratsuka was a teacher right here at Toyogasaki Academy, while the dead-fish-eyed boy was a member of the opposite sex who looked incredibly shady at a glance.
Now that her massive secret was laid bare right in front of them, Eriri felt as if her entire reputation and dignity as a human being had completely collapsed.
So, how does it feel, Eri Kashiwagi-sensei?
How does it feel to see your own work displayed out in the open like this?
Seeing Eriri panic so hysterically, Fūju found the entire situation pretty amusing.
You jerk…
Don’t you dare call me by that name!
Eriri’s face flushed a deep crimson as she screamed at the top of her lungs.
Immediately after, she whipped her blonde twin-tails forward, aiming to strike Fūju with a heavy blow.
It was Eriri’s signature move, the Twin-Tail Hurricane.
However, Fūju wasn’t bothered by that kind of attack in the slightest.
Fūju simply reached out with both hands, catching both of Eriri’s twin-tails mid-swing.
He then spun Eriri’s body around, wrapped the long strands of hair around her own arms a few times, and finally tied them together securely.
Once he finished the swift maneuver, Eriri found herself completely bound tightly by her own hair.
Witnessing the scene, everyone present stood completely dumbfounded.
They hadn’t expected Fūju to act so boldly in public, let alone execute it with such terrifying speed.
Ugh…
ugh…
Her failed attack had resulted in her locking herself up.
Due to the overwhelming wave of sheer embarrassment, tears began to well up in Eriri’s eyes, leaving her right on the verge of crying.
Hey, bullying a girl right in front of me is going way too far!
Seeing the situation, Shizuka Hiratsuka initially threw a sharp, disciplinary glare at him.
She then stepped forward to quickly untie Eriri’s hair.
The moment her twin-tail seal was undone and her freedom returned, Eriri immediately scrambled backward to maintain a safe distance.
She glared at Fūju as if she were looking at a complete deviant, utterly terrified that she might get tied up by her own hair again.
She was the one who attacked first, I was simply acting in self-defense.
Just like earlier when Sensei ambushed me out of nowhere, I merely retaliated, Fūju said casually, completely ignoring the sharp stares coming from both Shizuka Hiratsuka and Eriri.
Even though before crossing over to this world he used to cheer in front of his screen that two-dimensional characters were the absolute best, when it actually became a reality, things weren’t nearly as perfect as he had imagined.
If they were, he wouldn’t be showing such a blunt, rigid attitude and physically shutting them down.
It seemed that some things really were better left in the ideal realm of imagination.
Even though I really don’t want to waste any more breath talking to you guys, I’ll leave you with a few final words.
Someone once offered me thirty million yen for my song, and I turned them down flat.
If you guys came here intending to convince me to join just so you could use it for free, you are absolutely out of your minds.
Setting aside the question of whether you can even afford that price tag, even if you could, I still wouldn’t be interested.
Furthermore, using my music for your galge just makes me dislike the idea even more, Fūju stated without a shred of hesitation.
Shizuka Hiratsuka and the others standing on the sidelines felt the corners of their mouths twitch upon hearing such incredibly sharp words.
But on the flip side, after hearing Fūju’s declaration, they found themselves becoming even more fascinated by the boy.
Particularly regarding the piece of information that someone was willing to offer thirty million yen for Fūju’s music.
They didn’t doubt the truth of his statement for a second.
Based on the performance Fūju had just displayed through his playing and singing earlier, that piece of music easily possessed a value of thirty million yen in the industry, and some companies might even be willing to pay higher.
As long as Fūju wanted it, becoming a millionaire could happen in a matter of minutes, and reaching the absolute peak of the music industry would be an absolute walk in the park.
But for now, Fūju clearly had zero intention of moving in that direction.
Alright, our conversation ends here.
Time is almost up, and I’m too lazy to keep talking to you guys.
I’m leaving, so please clear out as well.
After all, this room is my territory, not yours.
Fūju jingled the set of keys he pulled out from his pants pocket.
His attitude made it crystal clear that he was about to kick everyone out and lock up the room, showing absolutely no intention of being polite.
Tch.
Seeing Fūju’s thoroughly unfriendly attitude, the corners of everyone’s mouths twitched yet again.
However, since the master of the room had put it that way, they didn’t push their luck by staying any longer.
One by one, they filed out of the music room used by the Light Music Club.
On her way out, Shizuka Hiratsuka managed to throw one last sentence over her shoulder: Listen here, brat, before the club registration period ends next week, you better find some new members.
If your club membership doesn’t reach at least five people by the deadline, this club will be officially disbanded!
Yeah, yeah, I get it!
Fūju waved his hand with an entirely indifferent shrug.
Even if it gets disbanded, it’s fine by me.
Don’t think for a second I’m going to make some backroom deal with you and let you pull my strings, Fūju replied, his tone dripping with mock disdain.
Hearing Fūju’s parting shot, Shizuka Hiratsuka’s stride stumbled slightly, nearly causing her to trip over her own feet.
Even the Snow Girl and the dead-fish-eyed boy walking ahead of her paused their steps for a brief moment.
