“I’ve actually been going more into thought about that, I stayed up all night combing through those documents captain Aria gave us yesterday.

One of the files mentioned how innate personality can direct one’s path of growth.

Like me, you tell me something, cool I remember it hear it and know it, but when you hear something you say it doesn’t make since because I’m giving you all of these terms with no references to realistically make sense with them.Full novel: Aevum: The Birth Of Everything — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

It’s almost how a child learns to speak, read and write…” Jason began after a brief moment of thought.

“First they learn to speak associating combinations of sounds with real world things, then they are able to learn reading through associationing those sounds with letters, words and numbers.

And also associating those combinations of sounds with real world things and objects.

At higher levels of learning that ability to learn and understand becomes disconnected because the human minds inability to see itself and its world through a different perspective…” “The way our abilities develop is highly dependent on our ability to understand things like emotions, thoughts, senses, and other things that are in the realm of difficult things to understand and learn.” Jason said before he continued to think in silence.

Ethan listened attentively as he stood from the bed and began his morning stretch.

“That sure is a lot to take in even though I wouldn’t bet against there being far more intense and in depth information within the documentation.” Ethan mused as he moved from stretch to stretch.

Seeing this Jason allowed himself to join in the stretch.

“And you are exactly right, I didn’t get through much of it honestly, but what I understand from what I have read so far is that what we’re doing is indeed correct, but we should give a glance at all of the anatomy information because I think it is very interesting when that is included despite humans having almost duplicate anatomy.” He said following Ethan’s movements.

“That is interesting, were you able to upload any of the documents onto the phone?” Ethan asked as he finished stretching and began to put on his shoes.

“Yea I got most of them uploaded on the cloud storage.

Both you and your parents should have access to them, they gave me some computers in my room so it was pretty simple.” Jason said as he wrapped up and begin pulling up the anatomy documents on his phone.

Ethan was also pulling up the documents on his phone as they began to exit the room to go eat and prepare to leave.

They both read for about thirty minutes in the combing through information about the movement of blood through the body and a substance that it refers to as ‘subtle energy’.

It described the idea and sensation of sensation traveling from nerve to nerve creating what we know as our understanding of the experience called life.

Pain, joy, sadness, hope, despair, happiness, it’s what we see.

What we hear and the things we touch, all of these things signals from our mind and our body are trying to communicate something to us so that we can experience a correctly shared reality.

The anatomy section wasn’t large but the end of it, it connected all of the human anatomy to some functioning part of the universe and living organisms almost like the Christian god being everything that is.

The section even mentioned how in a way to respond to your own body’s prayer is to listen to the feeling, sensation, and thought honestly, openly and diligently you could gain better understanding on the things your body may or may not need.

‘Humans are everything that their body is as God is everything that is.

Emotions, thoughts feelings and sensations are something to be observed deeply and truthfully because they are your deepest connection to this real world and the world of the invisible monsters, angels and demons.

The same light that reflects through everything in the universe radiates through this world and radiates through us.

Will we destroy it as we destroy ourselves and our world ignorantly or will we see what it truly means to be limitless.’ Ethan finished reading as he began to ask himself if his actions were truly necessary, he could have stopped when the project had been closed out.

After reading he informed his parents about the interesting anatomy chapter as they sat down to eat.

They both immediately began to look through the document while discussing their thoughts and understanding of it as they ate.

Seeing this Jason began to understand why Ethan could have possibly thought completing the time travel machine was a good idea in any way.

He and his family seemingly communicated telepathically, or at least they were on the same wave length.

“So you’re basically saying rather than trying to consciously move the ‘subtle energy’ we should observe it’s natural movement and strengthen it as necessary while also optimizing at certain points, and during certain activities the observations should be more precise and detailed for better a understanding of how to functionally accomplish a task?” Jack asked as he had one hand holding his phone and the other feeding food to his face.

“I never understood why you guys just kind of understood what I would explain sometimes but I think I am starting to get it now.

You guys have protected yourselves by living below your potential.” Ethan said after his father’s question causing both of his parents to blink a few times in shock.

“Remember he traveled back in time honey he’s a big boy inside now, I am glad we read those notes, but you shouldn’t look down on your parents how do you think you got so sharp?.” Jason’s dad said remembering him and Anne discussing the nights over the past couple nights.

Hearing this Ethan’s expression dropped to sadness, “How could you guys read them without adding notes of your own perspective isn’t that important in helping a continued and diversified growth in ideas and thought.” Hearing this his parents began to understand why Ethan may have taken that perspective.

“That may be true to a certain extent.

I understand what you guys were talking about in your notes as we followed the internal movements, some of the movements actually didn’t seem to go well for it’s like the stuck feeling you get when your not flexible enough to continue a stretch.” Jack began to explain and Anne nodded along.

“Interesting, has it changed at all?” Jason asked.

“A little bit but still not enough to complete the first cycle, I think it has to do with our proprioception maybe, I think we are headed in the right direction though.” Anne responded promptly before taking another bite of her waffle.

“Remember in the anatomy section also mentioned how physical health can affect how smoothly subtle energy can move.

Maybe we should start exercising as well.” Ethan posed as he remembered the escort team that protected hanging onto the side of the truck and fighting for what seemed to be hours.

Just as Ethan said that there was knocking at the front door of the house.

Hearing this Jack got up, the house was fairly new in its design.

The dining area, the living room, and kitchen were in the upper hut portion of the house with a fairly elaborate design.

The upper level was about 18ft by 18ft separated into a kitchen area and a dining area with two islands that slid to connect.

There was a single large window that went alongside the top half of all four walls.

And the roof was fitted with a sky light that offered an additional view of the sky.

The stairway leading to the living areas downstairs was in the southwestern part of the room separating the kitchen area and the living room.

Down the stairs led directly to the front door while there were 5 additional doors in each corner about 10m apart.

To the left of the stairs and the front door was the fifth door leading to the garage.

The front door had large glass exterior door, and the interior door was made of wood with a designed stain glass cut out placed at its center.

As Jack approached the door he could see Ace standing there with 2 people next to him.

“Hey Ace you’re a bit early aren’t you, Anne and I just finished making breakfast you guys can come get a plate if you want.” Jack said as he opened the door and gestured them to come inside.

As he opened the door he could see that the two people standing with Ace were both girls that looked to be around the same age as Ethan and Jason give or take.

“Early is the new on time, and we will definitely take you guys up on that offer plus I need to give you guys my first lecture as your mentor before we go deal with the riff raff.” Ace said as he walked inside removing his shoes at the door.

“You mean signing the contracts with the kings?” Jack asked suprised Ace would consider something like that riff raff.

“Precisely.” Ace said as he and the two girls followed behind Jack upstairs.

“Hey everyone these are the two that will be joining your team for now.” Ace said as he gestured to the two girls.

“Hi, my name is Lucille I look forward to working with you all.” The girl closest to Ace said.

She had smooth jet black hair, and violet eyes with a light complexion.

She stood about 1.6m tall with a gentle face and athletic figure.

“My name is Amanda, I also look forward to being on the team, thank you for having me!” The second girl said with a slight bow.

She had curly brown hair with deep black eyes that held the clearest reflection.

She also sported an athletic figure albeit slightly more curvaceous while being slightly taller than Lucille.

Her complexion was also a bit darker.

As soon as they had walked in Jason’s eyes hadn’t left Amanda as he scrutinized every visible portion of her existence.

Ethan had been looking back and forward between Amanda and Jason which caused the others in the room to also eventually notice Jason’s disturbing focus.

“Uh uh em, hi hello.

Do you speak or just stare?” Lucille coughed and spoke up seeing the awkward situation.

“Ahh my apologies.

Hi I am Jason, uh I just thought Amanda looked familiar.” Jason said as he scratched his head and slumped back into his seat in embarrassment.

“Wasn’t your wife’s name Amanda?” Ethan couldn’t help but ask causing Jason embarrassment to reach a new level, while for Jack and Anne they immediately understood they were talking about the future they traveled back from.

“How could a kid like you have had a wife, are you sure we are at the right place?” Lucille asked expressing her disdain for their behavior.

“You still have a lot to learn, this is Ethan, Jason, Jack, and Anne.

You 6 have been placed on this team based on a deep character analysis conducted by the kings.” Ace said not interested in waiting for them to get through this botched introduction.

Anne had already began making plates for the 3 who had just arrived and sat their plates down in front of them.

“Thank you for the food Anne, I want to give you guys my first small lecture now because I think it is possibly the most important thing to keep in mind when training and developing in the future.” Ace said as he took small bites of his food between words.

“What do you guys think we are training for?

Why does anyone do anything?” Ace asked.

“So we can live?” Amanda answered to which Ace nodded sideways.

“World domination?” Jason mused.

“Power.” Lucille said proudly.

“Power, is correct.

Some seek the power to dominate their enemies, others seek power to dominate nature, while some seek power to dominate themselves.

So what is power, and what is the most effective way of attaining it?” Ace asked after adding to Lucille’s answer.
