Everyone looked on normally as Ethan jumped up, his face constricted as he was visibly changing shades and his veins could be seen bulging before they watched him fall to the ground with his eyes still open.
“Ethan, Ethan!” Jack shouted as he ran over watching Ethan fall and hit the ground before he could reach him.
By the time Jack had reached him he was already out cold.
“What the hell happened, is he okay?” Jack shouted in the direction of the commander wonder what was happening with his son.
The commander was intently going through the screen in front of her swiping in all directions analyzing the data of Ethan’s integration and amplification, “This one is another one I do not completely understand.” She stated honestly as she rested her hands on her head staring at the screen.
Ace had already moved to Ethan’s side and was picking him up to take to him to the infirmary.
“I could feel it, it seemed like he had more of an internal manifestation of his energy.
You know those types are usually nearly impossible to read unless it’s something simple like a straight forward reinforcement of the body…whatever he had experienced was at the noticeable and completely impossible to read level for me.” Ace said as he lifted Ethan on to his shoulder.
Hearing this the commanders eyebrows raised in shock, Ace was easily one of the top 50 energy sensing masters on earth for him to say it was impossible to read was a statement on just how complex the ability he had awakened was.

I definitely will have to watch this entire teams progress.
Ace in a week have them remove the rings and bring them back to me for recalibration before giving them back, each ring should have changed colors when they experienced their amplification so knowing which belongs to who shouldn’t be a problem.” ” What are we keeping the rings for?” Lucile couldn’t help but ask as she looked down at the ring on her hand seeing it had turned gold and the material itself seemed to change resembling an actual golden ring.
Hearing this also prompted the others to look at their rings, Jason’s ring had turned crystalline with silver linings running across each lattice within the crystal, Amanda’s ring resembled a ring made of an entirely topaz gemstone while jacks ring had become pure silver contrasting his gold wedding band.
Each of them examined the changes of the rings they had initially been given completely amazed by the materials ability to change.
“These rings were developed by me and one of the other left hands by combining our abilities to create a material that can synchronize with the wearers ability and also with this facility allowing us and yourselves to keep precise data on your progress and development, your information will be encrypted through your bio data so we will only be able to view your data with your approval in person.
You are not required to keep the ring on but it has helped many of our FBSA members experience much more explosive growth and long term results since we started producing them than the ones that have remained old fashioned.” These rings commander said as she reached up tall stretching out and yawning.
“Ethan and Anne are both in the infirmary’s incubators, somehow Ethan managed to tear almost every muscle fiber in his body I can’t wait until he’s recovered, they said the general is going to come down to personally speed up his recovery so he should be fine in a couple of hours.
Anne is just unconscious no internal or external injuries, so we will have to wait around here until they are ready.” Ace said as he entered the room analyzing his trainees and the difference in their energy after going through the awakening process.
“What is the difference between this awakening process and what other people in the world are experiencing with everything that is happening in the world currently.” Jason asked as he looked up from his ring at Ace who was entering the room.
“Theirs is natural so in a way it’s comparable to waking from a nights rest, this is like an entire rebirth where the essence of your energy is drawn into complete unison with your body which if naturally done by your average person but could take an entire lifetime if assuming they actually succeed, for those more talented it could take a decade or longer for the people completely out of this world there’s no guessing some people are naturally just monsters.” The commander said as she shook her head towards the end feeling a chill go up her spine as she remembered just Anne’s awakening and what could have possibly happened had she completely awakened outside of the FBSA and without Ace there to knock her out.
“Who’s the fresh meat?
And what happened to the place it looks different than when I was last here.” A boomingly deep brash voice sounded as a large rough man entered the room.
He stood easily above 2 meters in height with bulging muscles he had unkempt hair and a large beard not resembling a military man in his appearance in the slightest.
The only thing that identified his affiliation was a shirt with a single 5 point star in the middle and the FBSA insignia of a sword lodged in stone in the middle of the star.
Hearing the voice Ace’s lips curled into a devious smile as he turned around disappearing on the spot launching a fist towards the man who had just entered the room.
His team didn’t see him move at all, they only heard a loud boom feeling the space in the room ripple as waves of air brushed passed them bouncing off the walls making the air in the room feel like a small typhoon momentarily as Ace was standing in front of the newcomer with Commander Valia standing in between with aces fist in one and her other hand on the new comers stomach making sure he didn’t move either.
Seeing this Ethan, jack, Lucile and Anne could only look on in astonishment amazed by the raw force to create such a torrent of air in this enclosed space.
“Hahaha, Ace it’s nice to see you again what’s the bright idea this time?” He asked as he laughed boisterously looking down at Ace and the commander.
“You two idiots better not go destroying anything in her the system updates I initialized earlier are still completing I will honestly kill both of you if you mess this up.” The commander said in a firm tone as she forcefully pushed aces fist away strong enough to make him take a step back.
“General did you already look at the boy?” She added as she stepped forward turning to look at the general who had just entered.
“Wow I ask a question, and I’m attacked then my question is answered with questions I guess I need to start being more generally or something because you guys don’t seem to respect me, but yea his injuries weren’t that bad honestly I’ve healed far worse.
When I heard the word supreme mentioned though you know I had to come here right?” The general responded while sighing before walking over to one of the seats near Ace’s group and sitting next to them.
They could only look on in awe as the man looked even larger close up.
It was like being next to a real life giant as he dwarfed everyone in the room with his stature.
“These guys are going to be my team I’m going to be training them up.” Ace said as he puffed out his chest, “and I can confirm one of our team members undoubtedly has supreme potential if not being awakened directly to supreme level” he continued as his face went from a prideful expression to a more thoughtful one.
Hearing those words the General had confirmed his suspicion he had overheard some of the people in the facility talking about feeling the energy of someone probably at the supreme level as he left the infirmary and decided to go ask the only person with eyes in the entire facility.
“Interesting, I will have to meet this recruit.
Tell me about the rest of them for this idiot to be training these guys they must not be our ordinary recon, assault, or defensive team.” The general said as looked from side to side looking at each recruit up and down as if inspecting a used vehicle.
“General Stone, this is the team with the family of the two that reportedly returned from the future.” The commander said not understanding what information the general was looking for knowing that there were a few special teams of recruits being formed in light of the recent events.
“Ahh so this is that team!
God, they sure know how to pick the right people for special teams, this makes the second recruit with confirmed supreme level talent just from this entire world changing moment of lightning huh?
I hope we’re not falling behind our enemies in power I am sure they are also getting their fair share of new recruits…
Ace you are aware of how serious your task is with a confirmed supreme talent right?” The general spoke as if the recruits were not even in the room.
“Yea, yea no one brings the best out of anyone like I do you should be well aware of that by now…
sir.” Ace said as nonchalantly as ever, putting a sarcastic emphasis on the end sir.
Hearing this the general laughed lightly, nodded and stood up preparing to leave the facility, “That has been true in the past so I will trust you, here’s a heads up the energetic changes are starting to show themselves from the environment and nature, last week a forest reclaimed an entire city, I sent the commander the footage before coming down so you and the recruits are can see some of the things we are up against, commander can you play it before I go?” Hearing this the commander swiped the screen she was working on a few times before stopping and using both hands to enlarge and push the screen outwards where it displayed a 3 dimensional cube that held what could only be described as a small piece of the real world within it.
The footage was recorded from some tall building, it was as if they were looking out the window themselves, they watched on as frenzied beast much larger than normal moved at ungodly speeds destroying everything in their path.
The trees had experienced an unnatural overgrowth, they stood just as tall some higher than the window the video was recorded from casting a gloomy shadow over the city while the roots tore through buildings directly causing many explosions and unthought of destruction as sky scrapers fell like Lego towers under the immense forge of the roots.
While the roots spread new trees grew in the place of the destroyed buildings rising through the clouds of dust and smoke.
The last thing the video showed was the camera falling violently as the roots and beast reached the building where whoever was recording was.
Seeing this even Ace and the Commander were surprised the video was only a single minute long and in that one minute they watched nearly an entire city become unmade and reclaimed by what had been there originally.
“God…” was the only word jack could mutter while everyone else looked on in pure shock for a moment.
“How much power would it take for a human with powers like you guys to do something similar?” Jason asked needing a reference point to understand how dangerous this situation was.
“The best of us like Ace here could probably manage an instant clear, but on average most of our top combat guys don’t have wide sweeping attacks that powerful so I would probably estimate around 15-30 minutes max for our top guys not at supreme level, and including ace and the 2 new recruits we’ve only got 9 people at that level.” The general said as he glanced at Jason giving him a look up and down before looking to the rest of the group and turning to leave.
“Make sure to train them up good ace, if we want to maintain any sense of order in this changing world we will need all the help we can get.” He said as he gave a wave while walking out of the room.
