This was a trick he had just learned this afternoon.
On a variety show, he heard that if an Alpha is unhappy, one should hug him and offer pheromones. Although he had not yet learned how to control his pheromones naturally, he could certainly hug his Alpha.
Huo Yuheng had done so much for him; would it not be wonderful for him to take the initiative and give Huo Yuheng a hug? He could even take the opportunity to nuzzle against him, which would make him feel comfortable too. He was such a brilliant little rabbit!
The act of throwing himself into Huo Yuheng’s arms came so suddenly.
The omega’s soft, delicate body was pressed against him. His nape was very close, and he could clearly smell the sweet scent of white roses. One bite on the gland would be enough to mark him.
Huo Yuheng’s hands froze in mid-air.
Wen Yun’an buried his head in Huo Yuheng’s shoulder, rubbing against his neck and whispering softly, “Mr. Huo.”
Although it was just a hug from his omega, what Alpha could withstand such temptation? Huo Yuheng was stirred into a state of restlessness by the boy’s advances. His Adam’s apple bobbed, and unable to resist, he reached out to pull the boy into his embrace, seizing the initiative.
“Why the hug?” Huo Yuheng spoke, feigning composure, while his hand uncontrollably and gently stroked the boy’s slender waist.
An Alpha’s nature is like this; after touching the waist, he would feel it was not enough. Huo Yuheng found that he always lost control when facing this omega, and in his indulgence, he followed his impulses to pinch the boy’s sensitive little rabbit tail.
Wen Yun’an shuddered in Huo Yuheng’s arms, suppressing the urge to cover his tail, only wanting to comfort his Alpha.
“Why are you hugging me, baby?” Huo Yuheng’s voice was somewhat hoarse. “Tell me.”
“Um,” a soft, airy sigh escaped his lips as he answered honestly, “because you seem unhappy, Mr. Huo.”
“Oh? And then?”
“So, I wanted to comfort you.”
He should have felt happy, but Huo Yuheng could not help but think about how many other Alphas were still finding ways to curry favor with the boy on his chat app.
“If someone else were unhappy, would you go comfort them too?” Huo Yuheng asked, feeling bothered.
“Who else?” he asked blankly.
Huo Yuheng wanted to say his brothers, his friends, and all those other messy Alphas, but he felt that acting this way was ridiculous.
“I only want to comfort you,” he said again.
This sentence was very effective on Huo Yuheng.
“Why only me?” Huo Yuheng tilted his face to look at him, his lips brushing against the boy’s rabbit ears; they were so soft he wanted to kiss them.
Huo Yuheng’s warm breath washed over his ears. Unable to escape, he could only reach out and hold on tighter. “Because you are my Alpha.”
The Alpha’s paranoid possessiveness continued to churn; it was not calmed by this statement, but rather became more intense.
“And what else?” Huo Yuheng released his tail and pinched his rabbit ear instead.
“Um, and, and you are my husband.”
Huo Yuheng was finally satisfied and let him go.
Thanks to the wicked way his tail had been toyed with, Wen Yun’an’s face was flushed pink, and his body trembled slightly.
“So, are you not unhappy anymore?”
“I was never unhappy.”
Are all Alphas this stubborn? He clearly was!
“Is it because just a hug is not enough?” he asked naively, his hand resting on Huo Yuheng’s shoulder.
“What did you say?”
“Do you want a kiss, Mr. Huo?” He reached out and poked Huo Yuheng’s lips. Since Huo Yuheng had already kissed him before, he had experience!
Huo Yuheng looked at him in disbelief.
“If I were someone else, would you kiss them like this too?” Huo Yuheng looked at him, unusually serious.
Wen Yun’an felt dizzy from the questioning. Is Huo Yuheng not just Huo Yuheng?
“But you are you!”
“Who am I?”
He felt like Huo Yuheng was dizzy too; otherwise, why would he ask such strange questions?
He looked at Huo Yuheng, thought for a moment, and, like a little teacher, seriously explained to Huo Yuheng, “You are Huo Yuheng.”
“Then what is the difference between me and others?”
“You are my Alpha, and they are not.”
“Hmm, anything else?”
“You are my husband, and, and you are my husband.” His voice grew quieter and quieter.
Huo Yuheng finally understood why he felt so annoyed. His little omega was affectionate to everyone else, but not specifically to him. Alphas always have an inexplicable sense of competitiveness, and he was no exception.
“What was that? Baby, say husband again; I did not hear clearly.” Huo Yuheng was very happy now, having the heart to tease him.
“Husband.”
“Yes, I am here.”
Wen Yun’an’s ears were burning red. He never thought this term would be so much harder to say than Mr. Huo. It was simply too difficult for a rabbit!
He looked up, and he was not sure if it was just his imagination, but Huo Yuheng seemed to be looking at him with a smile. The atmosphere suddenly became subtle, but his phone rang at just the right time.
“Mr. Huo, you have a call, a call!” Since his hands were pinned by Huo Yuheng, he could only remind him.
“What? I cannot hear you.” Huo Yuheng remained unmoved.
Based on the time, this had to be his driver bringing his little rabbits. This was very important, and he was anxious.
“I said there is a call! Husband!”
“Yes, I heard you.” A smile colored Huo Yuheng’s voice. As he stood up, he carried the boy along with him, bouncing him slightly in his arms. He tricked the boy into wrapping his arms back around his neck, only then freeing a hand to answer the phone.
It was indeed Wen Yun’an’s rabbits arriving.
Huo Yuheng gave a brief reply, set him back down on the sofa, and said, “Wait here for me. I am going out to bring the rabbits in.”
“Um, but, but there are a lot of rabbits. One person will not be able to handle it.”
“A lot? How many are there?”
“Anyway, I am going with you!” He grabbed Huo Yuheng’s arm and shook it, acting coquettishly again. “Is that okay, husband?”
Huo Yuheng could barely keep the corners of his mouth from curling up. “Okay.”
Standing at the mansion entrance, Wen Yun’an adjusted his hat and looked toward the corner of the road.
Suddenly, a large truck with a transparent container appeared in his line of sight, driving toward the mansion.
Wen Yun’an became excited. “Husband! Those are my rabbits!”
Huo Yuheng sighed, “Yes.”
His head was starting to ache. Huo Yuheng had indeed contacted Wen Yun’an’s parents to say the boy needed his rabbits, and he was prepared for a whole nest of them, but he had not expected a whole truckload.
Huo Yuheng began calling his butler to send more people to help. After all, the two of them really could not handle a truck full of rabbits alone.
Once the truck stopped, Wen Yun’an excitedly circled the vehicle. Huo Yuheng realized it was a truck full of rabbit plushies, with the inside lined with blankets and warm LED light strips.
Wen Yun’an was genuinely happy. After he finished checking them, he returned to Huo Yuheng’s side, standing obediently while waiting for him to finish his call. He reached out to hold Huo Yuheng’s arm, blinking his beautiful eyes at him. “Husband, now half of my little rabbits can be yours. You have to be happy too.”
“If you are not happy, just hug your little rabbit, okay?”
Huo Yuheng’s heart suddenly began to race.
For Huo Yuheng, in his twenty-seven years of life, he had been absolutely certain he would never fall in love with anyone.
But today, he discovered his judgment had failed for the first time. From the moment Wen Yun’an appeared before him, he had fallen for this soft, adorable little omega, and all his strange emotions finally had an answer.
This was his omega, his little rabbit baby, and he loved Wen Yun’an.
Seeing Huo Yuheng lost in thought, Wen Yun’an tilted his head and whispered softly, “Husband?”
Huo Yuheng pulled him into his arms, his heart feeling soft, and his voice filled with a smile. “Alright, I will hug my little rabbit baby.”
