The rabbit dolls were carefully sorted into exquisite gift boxes, and Wen Yun’an was hard at work unpacking them. Huo Yuheng, afraid he would get tired but unable to resist his enthusiasm, could only sit beside him and help.
Wen Yun’an’s rabbit dolls came in all sorts of designs and outfits. He even gave each one a name. As he unpacked them, he carefully introduced each rabbit to Huo Yuheng and explained the story behind how he received them.
Born into a wealthy family, Huo Yuheng had always been different from his peers. He possessed an advanced sense of awareness and planning, never slacking off because of his family’s wealth. Instead, he held himself to the strictest standards. He had witnessed plenty of infighting and backstabbing, achieving his own success by an age when others were still aimlessly drifting.
Wen Yun’an was different. Just by looking at these carefully chosen rabbits, it was clear he had grown up surrounded by his family’s love. He lived in a pure environment, which accounted for the innocence and charm he possessed, qualities that did not quite belong to his age.
He was a clumsy little rabbit who would get dizzy from a single kiss, the purest little rose. If not for Pheromone Disorder Syndrome, his life would have been smooth sailing, spent in peace and security.
Huo Yuheng realized he was despicable, yet lucky. It was nothing to be ashamed of to fall in love with his own Omega, but this Omega had never been short of love.
Wen Yun’an was born to be loved, and Huo Yuheng intended to be the one who loved him the most.
Wen Yun’an was still humming a little tune while unpacking boxes. He had no idea what a significant decision the Alpha beside him had just made.
Wen Yun’an looked up and noticed Huo Yuheng staring at a small white lop-eared rabbit in his hands, a rabbit wearing a pretty little crown on its head, holding a birthday cake.
He happily hopped over a few steps, leaned against Huo Yuheng, and poked his arm. “Husband, its name is Xiao An’s Happy Growth Rabbit. I got it for my eighteenth birthday. Isn’t it cute?”
Even the way he named the dolls was so cute.
“Hmm, very cute.” But not as cute as you.
Since Huo Yuheng was willing to help him with his illness, what did it matter if he gave his cute rabbit to him? Wen Yun’an was very generous. “Then I will give it to my husband.”
Huo Yuheng placed the rabbit in his arms and took the opportunity to pinch his fingers. “I want the cutest and most beautiful little rabbit baby.”
“Oh!” He carefully selected for a while, muttering to himself that all the little rabbits were cute, before picking one and holding it up to Huo Yuheng. A fluffy head popped out from behind the rabbit. “Do you want this one?”
“Husband has not decided yet. I will owe you one for now, okay?”
He had not expected Huo Yuheng to have such high standards for the rabbits!
He blinked understandingly at Huo Yuheng. “Then just tell me when you find one you like, and I can give it to you.”
“Okay, thank you, baby.”
Finally, all the rabbits were unpacked. The living room was filled with them. Fortunately, the room was large enough that there was still plenty of space. They just had to wait for the housekeeper to clear out a room for the rabbits the next day.
Wen Yun’an stood up from the floor, brushed off his bottom, and took out his phone to take a family photo of all the rabbits.
He ran back and forth, snapping photos. Whenever he moved quickly, his two rabbit ears would sway in the air, and Huo Yuheng watched him the entire time.
There were even photos of him with the rabbit dolls.
Satisfied, Wen Yun’an sent the photos to the “Loving Wolf-Rabbit Family” group chat, then prepared to pick one rabbit to take back to the bedroom.
Out of the corner of his eye, he caught Huo Yuheng sitting on the sofa watching him. Somehow, he seemed to read Huo Yuheng’s desire to participate in his photo session.
“Husband,” he said, holding a rabbit as he went to sit next to Huo Yuheng. “Do you want to help me take photos?”
“Hmm? I am not very good at taking pictures.”
Other than photographing his parents, Huo Yuheng had never taken pictures of anyone else, and he considered his skills to be rather average.
Wen Yun’an felt Huo Yuheng was being too serious. Why worry about whether the photos looked good?
“Husband, just try it! You might find out you are a genius photographer!” He leaned in to coax Huo Yuheng. “I will take pictures of you, too.”
He acted spoiled like this, and of course, Huo Yuheng could not resist.
Huo Yuheng: “Okay.”
Wen Yun’an posed for several cute pictures, but as it turned out, Huo Yuheng was really not very good at taking photos. When he took the phone and looked at them, he began to grumble: “Husband! You made me look like I am one meter fifty.”
“I am not that short!” He hopped up and down twice.
It was not as exaggerated as one meter fifty, but Huo Yuheng held back his laughter and did not argue. “What is wrong? Is it not good?”
Huo Yuheng was much taller than him, and the way he took the photos made Wen Yun’an look like a little midget with a big head, a tiny body, and short legs, with two strawberry hair clips in his hair, looking incredibly well-behaved.
Huo Yuheng genuinely felt he was just as cute this way, no different from how he appeared to the naked eye. No matter how you took the picture, his little rabbit baby was just very cute.
“Hmm, well, it is cute, I guess.” He said vaguely, feeling somewhat troubled. Since Huo Yuheng said it was cute, he did not want to discourage him.
“Hmm? Is baby not satisfied? Let me try again.” Huo Yuheng easily took a few more.
Huo Yuheng: “How about this one?”
Wen Yun’an: “It looks like I am only one meter forty.”
Huo Yuheng: “Hmm, then this one.”
Wen Yun’an: “Only one meter thirty.”
If this went on, he would shrink into the ground. Huo Yuheng’s photography aesthetic was that of a stone-cold straight man.
“Husband, thank you for your hard work. They are very nice,” he said, rubbing his ears as he took the phone back. “I will take them myself.”
“Okay, no hard work at all.”
He fiddled with the settings and started taking pictures of Huo Yuheng. But Huo Yuheng sat there like a mountain, motionless and looking very serious, not matching his little rabbit style at all.
Finally, Wen Yun’an could only burrow into Huo Yuheng’s arms, holding the phone with one hand and poking Huo Yuheng’s cheek with the other. “Husband, you have to smile for the photo.”
“Okay.” He could not let his little Omega go now that he had voluntarily climbed into his arms. Huo Yuheng agreed while wrapping his arms around his waist, deliberately leaning over to rest his head on his shoulder and taking a deep breath of the little rabbit baby.
He smelled so good. His Omega smelled so lovely and felt so soft in his arms.
“Take it.” Huo Yuheng leaned close to whisper, though it was really just to smell his scent.
“Ah, yes.” Wen Yun’an was stunned for a moment, but did not think too much, busy directing Huo Yuheng. “Husband, look over here! Cheese!”
The flash went off.
Feeling refreshed by the sound of his little Omega calling him “Husband” so sweetly, Huo Yuheng could not help but let his mouth curve upward as he looked at him.
Who said marriage was not good?
Being married to his Omega was wonderful.
