I knew it, she thought to herself.

How could a fall make him stupid!

The man before her nuzzled against her like a kitten, his handsome face rubbing against An Sheng’s chest, back and forth.

An Sheng unceremoniously cupped Bo Jinye’s face and pushed him away, her gaze flickering uncertainly.

Since her Mr. Bo wanted to pretend, she would play along to the end.

“Mm, A Ye isn’t stupid. A Ye is the most well-behaved,” An Sheng said, hooking a finger under Bo Jinye’s chin.

Bo Jinye immediately hummed happily, “Sheng Sheng touches me, I touch Sheng Sheng.”

As he spoke, his fingertips brushed against An Sheng’s cheek.

His fingers trembled slightly.

An Sheng lowered her gaze to watch him, slowly taking his hand and pressing it against her own face. “Why are you trembling?”

“Are you cold?”

The girl’s voice was gentle and soft, something Bo Jinye had longed for day and night.

“Mm,” Bo Jinye murmured, leaning into An Sheng’s embrace and holding her tightly without letting go.

An Sheng hadn’t slept all night, yet being held like this by Bo Jinye, she actually felt a sense of peace.

The two of them fell asleep in each other’s arms on the sofa.

Listening to An Sheng’s long, steady breaths, Bo Jinye’s eyes shimmered with delight.

If he had known pretending to be foolish would work, he should have started acting this way days ago.

Bo Jinye gently picked her up and carried her to the master bedroom upstairs, relaxing as he held An Sheng and drifted off to sleep.

An Ruyue went to the Bo family’s old mansion and was shocked to find An Sheng wasn’t there. “Where is she?”

“The Little Madam has already moved back to Brocade Garden with President Bo,” a servant replied, glancing at her. “They went yesterday.”

An Ruyue refused to believe it, exclaiming in disbelief, “How is that possible?! How could Brother Jinye let her go to Brocade Garden?!”

“It’s only natural for the Little Madam to live at Brocade Garden. She and President Bo are married—it’s rightful and proper. Why wouldn’t she be allowed?” the servant retorted.

During her four years at the old mansion, An Sheng had been low-key and humble, never causing trouble for the servants, so they quite liked this often-neglected Little Madam.

An Ruyue was left speechless. She glared fiercely at the servant before turning to take a car to Brocade Garden.

She knew exactly what Brocade Garden meant to Bo Jinye.

Bo Jinye’s mother, Ning Xu, was a renowned architectural designer in the country, and Brocade Garden was her final masterpiece.

Bo Jinye had been very close to his mother, and Madam Ning Xu was an elegant and beautiful woman.

Unfortunately, beauty is often fleeting—she passed away when Bo Jinye was in his teens.

An Ruyue had only visited Brocade Garden a few times as a child. After Madam Ning Xu’s death, she had never been allowed inside again.

Now, hearing that An Sheng was living at Brocade Garden, how could she possibly sit still?!

Brocade Garden symbolized prestige. Someone like An Sheng, a country bumpkin, wasn’t worthy of living there!

At Brocade Garden, An Sheng was being pestered by Bo Jinye to go swimming with him.

“Sheng Sheng, let’s play in the water,” Bo Jinye said, pointing at the outdoor pool. He had already changed into his swimwear himself, his muscular lines smooth and defined, the V-line disappearing into the swim trunks hiding his hips.

His physique was exceptional—broad shoulders, narrow waist, and an inverted triangle shape—arousing yet not overly rugged.

Extremely sexy and captivating.

Bo Jinye deliberately tugged the edge of his swim trunks down a bit, swaying in front of An Sheng.

An Sheng curled her lips into a faint smile. “No…”

Bo Jinye nuzzled against her again, pulling An Sheng toward the pool. “Let’s play, come on.”

An Sheng was forcibly carried into the water by him, her light dress floating and sinking on the surface. “A Ye…”

“Who helped you change into your swimwear?”

She had only been on a call with Shen Yan in the living room downstairs, and in the blink of an eye, he had changed and come down.Bo Jinye looked innocent as he pointed to the side, “He…”

Bo Xiyuan: “…”

Ever since Mr. Bo started pretending to be foolish, life had become much more difficult.

You were the one who changed it yourself!

An Sheng glanced at Bo Xiyuan’s dark, speechless expression, her smile widening slightly. “So it was Xi Yuan who changed you.”

“Alright, then play for a while.”

Bo Jinye deliberately splashed water toward An Sheng, causing her long hair to cling damply to her cheeks. She shot him a reproachful look.

Her myriad charms, radiant smile, and sparkling eyes ensnared Bo Jinye’s heart and soul.

Even in his previous life, Bo Jinye had known An Sheng was beautiful.

Though he disliked her, he could never deny An Sheng’s beauty.

It was a natural and elegant aura that gave her an otherworldly charm.

Yet An Sheng’s features were bewitchingly captivating—compared to An Ruyue’s delicate, moonlight-like appearance, An Sheng was even more striking.

In contrast, An Ruyue, though pretty, appeared bland due to her lack of charisma.

Bo Jinye stared dazedly at An Sheng, like a scholar bewitched by a fairy.

An Sheng found it amusing yet felt a pang of bitterness.

For four years, the man had never truly looked at her.

Whatever the reason this time, she needed to know.

“Sheng Sheng, so pretty, like stars,” Bo Jinye leaned in and embraced An Sheng.

The man gazed at her mesmerized, his eyes filled with starlight.

“A Ye is very handsome too. I love A Ye’s face the most,” An Sheng spoke her true feelings.

In her youth, if not for Bo Jinye’s face, she wouldn’t have saved him.

[Do you only like my face? Don’t you like my body?]

An Sheng heard the man’s inner thoughts again, while watching him cough a few times and begin to show off his swimming skills and toned muscles.

[Look at me, look at me, baby, look at me!]

An Sheng simply took off her damp outerwear and tossed it aside, wearing only the simple home dress underneath, then reached out to Bo Jinye.

Bo Jinye moved closer to hug her, but just as he tried to get intimate, Bo Xiyuan approached, “Little Madam, Miss An Ruyue is at the front gate.”

Hearing An Ruyue’s name, Bo Jinye instinctively tightened his embrace, pulling An Sheng closer.

“Oh? Let her in. Take A Ye upstairs and make sure he doesn’t come down,” An Sheng pinched Bo Jinye’s ear before preparing to leave.

But Bo Jinye held her waist, refusing to let go.

An Sheng had to turn and coax him, “I need to see a guest. We’ll play later, okay?”

Bo Jinye couldn’t bear to part, nuzzling against her chest.

An Sheng grew slightly warm from his nuzzling, her eyes shimmering as she lifted his chin and gave him a light kiss.

Though brief as a dragonfly skimming water, the kiss made Bo Jinye’s heart tremble.

He couldn’t help but chase her soft lips for more, but An Sheng stopped him with her fingertip, “Good boy…”

“Go on. I’ll come find you later, alright?”

An Sheng smiled while coaxing him.

Bo Jinye reluctantly grunted in agreement, looking utterly wronged.

An Sheng softened her voice, “Are you unhappy? If you go upstairs obediently, I’ll reward you with another kiss.”

Bo Jinye’s dark eyes sparkled, and he left happily.

Bo Xiyuan, forced to witness all this, turned away wishing he could pay a fortune for a pair of eyes that hadn’t seen such scenes.

An Sheng was fiercely possessive—she didn’t want An Ruyue to see this adorable side of Bo Jinye.

The version of Bo Jinye that no one else saw belonged only to her. When An Ruyue entered, An Sheng was lying on a beach chair sipping fruit wine.

“Sister, what are you doing here?”
