“Try it and you’ll meet your demise.”

An Sheng took a leisurely sip of fruit wine. “Call me sister?”Full novel: After Rebirth, President Bo Tears Up the Scumbag Script and Kneels to Win Back His Wife — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Others might not know, but don’t you remember what year you were born?”

“Your homewrecker mother had already given birth to you outside. Did you think I wouldn’t know?”

An Ruyue’s face changed color, her heart pounding nervously, though she maintained a smile of feigned surprise. “Sister, what are you talking about?”

“Dad would be angry if he found out.”

An Sheng glanced at her carelessly, raising an eyebrow. “Is that so…”

“If he died from anger, I might actually be somewhat pleased.”

An Ruyue looked at her with reproach. “Sister, our family has never treated you poorly. How can you speak of Dad like that? You…”

“Enough.” An Sheng impatiently cut her off. “Do you need something?”

An Sheng disliked An Ruyue because An Ruyue and her homewrecker mother had indirectly caused the death of An Sheng’s mother.

And because Bo Jinye liked An Ruyue.

She could also see exactly what kind of person An Ruyue was, which was why she had thrown out everything An Ruyue had previously sent over.

Even when Bo Jinye was present.

Though An Sheng probably never imagined that An Ruyue would eventually go so far as to kill both her and Bo Jinye.

She had thought An Ruyue quite liked Bo Jinye.

“I went to the old residence to see you, sister, and was surprised to find you here. By the way, where’s Brother Jinye? You two seemed a bit off last time. Is everything alright?” An Ruyue asked with feigned concern.

While An Ruyue and An Sheng confronted each other by the pool, upstairs, Bo Jinye leaned against the balcony railing, watching quietly.

Bo Xiyuan stood behind him, speaking cautiously. “President Bo, are you really going to continue like this?”

Bo Jinye wasn’t paying attention, and Bo Xiyuan had to ask twice before he responded. “Hm?”

“What’s wrong with this?”

“Aren’t you afraid Little Madam will find out?” Bo Xiyuan asked.

Bo Jinye’s focused gaze remained on An Sheng. “Not afraid…”

“Not afraid? What if Little Madam thinks you’ve deceived her and wants a divorce or to leave?” Bo Xiyuan didn’t understand.

Bo Jinye chuckled softly, his eyes like an intricate, all-encompassing net entangling An Sheng.

“I won’t… I won’t let her leave, even if I have to use underhanded methods.”

“Even if she hates me to death, I can’t let her go.”

The man’s eyes darkened, almost completely devoid of light.

Bo Xiyuan’s heart skipped a beat. “President Bo, please don’t act impulsively. Forced affection isn’t sweet. You might end up hurting both Little Madam and yourself.”

“If the melon isn’t sweet when forced, it still has to be mine,” Bo Jinye murmured softly.

“Then Little Madam is quite unlucky to have met you,” Bo Xiyuan said bluntly.

Bo Jinye turned to look at him, his face expressionless. Bo Xiyuan’s breath caught, and he lowered his head in apology. “Sorry…”

“You’re not wrong…” Bo Jinye picked up a shirt from nearby and put it on, slowly buttoning it one by one. “These methods of love and hate—I can only give them to her, no one else.”

“Sheng Sheng wants exactly me. You just don’t understand.”

Bo Xiyuan took a deep breath. “Yes, yes, yes…”

I’m single, I don’t understand. Fine, fine, I’ll never advise you again.

Bo Jinye finished dressing and prepared to go downstairs. “Do you know what to say?”

Bo Xiyuan felt miserable. “Yeah…”

Why didn’t he know how to manage the company? If he did, he’d make Shi Yan come suffer this instead! An Ruyue was making insinuations, “Sister, is this your first time at Brocade Garden? Would you like me to give you a tour?”

“Sister doesn’t know, this is Brother Jinye… Oh! Brother Jinye, you’re here! I thought you weren’t home. Sister didn’t say anything, leaving me standing here all this time.” An Ruyue changed her tone to a coquettish complaint.

An Sheng’s eyes turned cold as she glanced away.

Noticing Bo Jinye was fully dressed, her expression softened slightly.

Bo Jinye could tell An Sheng was angry just by looking at her expression. He came over and sat beside her, leaning in to embrace her, resting his head against her neck.

From beginning to end, he never once glanced at An Ruyue.

He treated her as air—no, even air needs to be breathed, so he treated her like toxic gas.

The smile froze on An Ruyue’s face, her eyes filled with shock and suspicion.

“Brother Jinye, what’s wrong? You look tired. Did Sister again…”

“Brother Jinye, this is just Sister’s temperament. Although she sometimes upsets you… but after all, you’re married. If Brother Jinye could show even half the patience you have with me toward Sister, she would improve.”

An Ruyue’s voice was soft and gentle, yet every word struck where it hurt.

First implying An Sheng had upset Bo Jinye again, then suggesting their marriage resulted from An Sheng’s scheming to have a one-night stand.

Finally mentioning her own relationship with Bo Jinye, both boasting and stabbing straight at An Sheng’s heart!

An Sheng let out a cold laugh, “Really? You overestimate your own importance.”

“Whether Bo Jinye and I stay together or separate is our business, none of yours.”

After speaking, An Sheng hooked her finger under the man’s chin and kissed him!

An Ruyue gasped, staring wide-eyed at the embracing couple.

What shocked her most was that Bo Jinye showed no reaction?!

How… how was this possible? Didn’t Bo Jinye always detest An Sheng the most? After getting married, he made An Sheng take contraceptive pills and never stayed overnight at the main residence. How could he let An Sheng kiss him?!

How could Bo Jinye not react?

His reaction was so strong he almost didn’t want to keep pretending!

An Sheng had originally intended just a brief kiss.

But she had missed Bo Jinye for far too long.

An Sheng loved Bo Jinye—loved him as a person, and of course loved his body too. She never concealed or disguised her feelings.

If not for considering Bo Jinye’s feelings, she might have drugged him countless times over these four years.

Love-making—perhaps through enough intimacy, Bo Jinye would become unable to leave her.

But An Sheng’s pride made her determined to try warming Bo Jinye’s heart first.

When their lips met, An Sheng sighed inwardly, unconsciously tightening her arms around the man’s neck, her soft tongue teasing.

Kissing someone you love is an addictive experience.

Especially with An Ruyue watching—she needed to kiss Bo Jinye properly.

The man obeyed like a big puppy.

[My treasure is so sweet, I want to kiss her…]

An Sheng bit Bo Jinye’s lip before pulling away, “So well-behaved…”

As Bo Jinye tried to nuzzle closer again, An Sheng held him back, allowing the man to shower messy kisses over her neck while casting a cold glare at An Ruyue, “Still not leaving?”

An Ruyue’s face flushed red, stammering, “You… you!”

“Your mother was a mistress. Don’t tell me you want to be one too?” An Sheng’s voice was mocking and icy, her beautiful face radiating intimidating authority.

“You can try.”

Try, and you’ll die trying.
