Yan Yang leaned gently against the doorframe, chin slightly raised as she met his gaze.

"The power's back on and the network is restored. Do you still need to use my computer?"

Under the light, her moist red lips parted, glossy with color. Feng Sixi was momentarily dazed and didn't catch what Yan Yang had said.Full novel: After Saving the Yandere Villain, I Crashed and Burned — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

His deep black eyes, dark enough to suck a person's soul in, seemed to harbor ever-expanding whirlpools that devoured more and more light.

"No need."

Having regained his composure, Feng Sixi appeared perfectly calm—not a single ripple of emotion on his face.

Yet just as he was about to coldly close the door, Yan Yang suddenly stepped closer, her lips mere inches from his face, exhaling a fragrant breath: "Mr. Feng, the light in my room seems to be broken. Could you come take a look for me?"

On a night bathed in bright moonlight, two unattached men and women—amidst a room full of rippling tension, a seductive woman issued a bold and direct invitation.

Feng Sixi's fingers closed around Yan Yang's shoulder, pushing her away from his body: "I'll help you tomorrow. I need to rest tonight."

Yan Yang tilted her face slightly, glancing at his fingertips resting on her shoulder.

The scorching heat that could only be felt through skin contact, wrapped in an indescribable warmth.

Hah… he could certainly hold back.

Yan Yang sneered inwardly. No matter how well he restrained himself, he'd already revealed his true thoughts. She'd just see how long he could last.

Biting her lower lip lightly with her teeth, Yan Yang's limpid eyes grew even more moist and pitiful, like a flower spirit that had attained sentience—truly capable of luring away a person's very soul.

"But without the light, I'd be scared sleeping alone at night… Mr. Feng… could you… stay with me?"

As she spoke, her soft, delicate hand traveled upward from his waist, grazing faintly over his perfectly defined abdominal muscles, then to his chest—a fleeting touch that silently hammered against Feng Sixi's heart.

Tugging at his restraint.

Just as her mischievous fingers were about to reach his most vulnerable yet most alluring Adam's apple, a blaze erupted fiercely in Feng Sixi's eyes. In an instant, he hooked his arm around Yan Yang's waist and pressed her hard against the doorframe.

The woman's waist was slender and supple, with an excellent feel to it. Feng Sixi unconsciously lingered for two extra seconds before speaking, each word deliberate: "Yan Yang, my patience has its limits."

"So… what then?"

The final syllable rose, curling in the air like ambiguous provocation.

Murderous intent blazed in Feng Sixi's eyes, masking the overwhelming desire beneath. He said: "I spent three years in prison—three years without touching a woman. Think about what kind of fate awaits you if you provoke me now."

Yan Yang let out a soft gasp: "Is that so?"

She looked utterly unafraid of death.

And of course, Yan Yang wasn't afraid.

Feng Sixi was merely putting on a fierce front. Whatever he said about three years in prison without touching a woman—the man had lived to twenty-five without ever having been with anyone at all.

With his extreme defensiveness, intense self-absorption, and dark psychology, no ordinary woman could ever get close to him.

But Yan Yang rather liked this fierce, dangerous, and coldly ruthless side of him.

He had more masculine appeal than even the most handsome man in the Central Star System.

"But I don't mind at all. Mr. Feng, are you going to keep me company or not…? I'm alone… really… so scared."

She continued her invitation, tempting him with unabashed boldness.

Feng Sixi heard the sound of the rational thread in his mind snapping.

Yet none of it was destined to happen.

Just as Feng Sixi stared at Yan Yang's beautiful lips, beginning to contemplate how he might taste them, Yan Yang's door was once again knocked upon at the most inopportune moment.

Outside, there was an extremely crude shout: "Feng Sixi! Feng Sixi, get out here! Pay up!"

The fire in Feng Sixi's eyes extinguished rapidly, covered by a thick layer of ice, while Yan Yang… sighed as if with regret: "Who are these people again? How annoying."

She pushed Feng Sixi away: "Let me go see who's come looking for you—they wouldn't be your creditors, would they?"

After turning around, the corners of her lips curved into a smug arc.

Those people outside were indeed Feng Sixi's creditors, and it was Yan Yang who had proactively informed them of Feng Sixi's current residence.

Yan Yang had calculated the timing precisely, knowing they would arrive at this moment to interrupt her and Feng Sixi's little rendezvous.

She wouldn't let Feng Sixi have her so easily. She wanted him to suffer torment, to endure a hundred kinds of agony—the more he wanted, the less he could possess…

Through such repeated torment, she would become the most important person in Feng Sixi's heart, someone he could never let go of, embedded in his bones, carved into his body, even branded into the depths of his soul as his most unforgettable cinnabar mole and moonlight.

How amusing?

When she opened the door, Yan Yang had already put on an impatient expression: "Who are you?"

Several burly men with tattooed arms stood at the doorway, fierce expressions on their faces: "Is Feng Sixi here? Tell him to come out. The money he owes us needs to be paid back today!"

As they spoke, they got a clear look at Yan Yang's appearance.

One of them traced his chin with his hand, his gaze lecherous: "Looking at how pretty you are, little miss, you wouldn't be his mistress, would you?"

Yan Yang said coolly: "Watch your language, or I'll call the police."

"Go ahead and call! Even if the police come, they'll side with us. A debt must be repaid—that's only natural. If Feng Sixi doesn't pay up today, we're not leaving!"

Feng Sixi walked slowly from behind Yan Yang, his brow shrouded in a terrifying dark aura, clouds gathering ominously.

After having his moment ruined, his mood was extremely volatile, on the verge of losing control at any moment.

Yan Yang stole a glance at his expression, barely suppressing the curve of her lips.

"How much do I still owe you?"

Feng Sixi asked.

Stared down by his cold, fierce gaze, the debt collectors felt an inexplicable palpitation in their hearts. Only after steadying themselves did one answer: "With principal and interest, you still owe us twenty million."

Feng Sixi's eyes were mocking: "A debt of five million that becomes twenty million in three years—with that kind of usury rate, do you take me for a fool?"

"Regardless, the IOU was signed that way, so you have to pay it back!"

The group said with righteous indignation: "Otherwise, we'll come to your doorstep every single day to collect."

Yan Yang clicked her tongue and shook her head. Feng Sixi's twenty-million debt was nothing but a disaster that had befallen him out of nowhere. He had been deceived by his former business partner into signing the IOU while completely off guard, and the money his company had worked so hard to earn was all wiped out in the bankruptcy.

Three years in prison, and that five million had snowballed into an even larger figure.

Feng Sixi smiled calmly, and his reply was rather chilling.

"If you want to come collect, that's fine—but you'd better be prepared. A man like me who has nothing left doesn't play by the rules. If I'm pushed to the brink one day, since there's no good ending anyway, I might as well drag a few people down with me."

The debt collectors said arrogantly, "Do you think we're afraid of your threats? Even if we can't handle you, we can go after your lover… dressed like that… you two must have quite the relationship, don't you?"

Feng Sixi's gaze turned colder, and he shifted his body to block their view of her.

He said, "Feel free to try."
