His tone remained cold and flat. Nan Yi could even see the clear impatience in He Yushen’s eyes.
The man called Manager Ye looked embarrassed and quickly flattered him: “It is rare to see Young Master He. I was so caught up in chatting with you that I forgot my manners. I am truly a foolish old man.”

He Yushen nodded politely and walked past the man. Song Jing naturally wrapped his arm around He Yushen’s, while Nan Yi hurried to follow them into the hotel.
As they walked, many curious and appraising gazes landed on them.
Upon entering, they reached the banquet hall. The room was brilliantly lit with melodious music, and the aroma of fine wine filled the air. The guests, dressed in luxurious formal wear, smiled as they engaged in harmonious and elegant conversation.
He Yushen and Song Jing were immediately surrounded by many people upon entering. Nan Yi, who was not close to them to begin with, could only stand at a distance, watching He Yushen converse expressionlessly with the fawning crowd.
It did not last long, however. Yan An soon arrived and guided He Yushen and Song Jing to the side of the host of the banquet, Yan An’s father.
Nan Yi found a less crowded spot and stood in a corner, feeling completely out of place among the people who were chatting so eloquently.

Nan Yi did not notice that someone was walking toward him. He picked up a glass of wine, stared at it with a frown for a long time, and finally took a small sip.
