Lin Wanfu’s sudden move made Father Lin’s heart leap into his throat.

His instinct was to reach out and shield Lin Wanfu behind him.

But two bodyguards in black had him pinned firmly to the ground. He couldn’t move at all.Full novel: After the Villainess Goes Bankrupt, They All Want to Bully Her — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Shen Congyan, whatever you want, take it out on me. Don’t do anything to Fufu. I’m begging you.”

Forced by the situation, Father Lin—who had spent his life planning every move—had no choice but to humble himself before a younger man for his daughter’s sake.

“Dad, don’t beg him!” Seeing Shen Congyan drive Father Lin, usually so refined and scholarly, into such a state, Lin Wanfu hated him even more.

Anger made her eyes shine, like jade washed clean by water, lending her beauty an inexplicable air of fury.

Shen Congyan raised a hand and lightly touched his stinging cheek. A mocking smile curled his lips.

“Looks like Eldest Miss Lin still doesn’t understand the situation. You’ve even got the nerve to mouth off to me. Good.”

As Shen Congyan approached, his expression unreadable, Lin Wanfu backed away a few steps despite herself. But the sofa was behind her; there was nowhere left to retreat.

Lin Wanfu dropped onto it. “What exactly do you want?”

“Since Eldest Miss Lin doesn’t like it gentle, I’ll have to be rough. By the way, I like hearing you scream. Make sure you scream as loudly as you did just now. If I enjoy it, I’ll pay you another fifty million.”

Shen Congyan suddenly leaned over Lin Wanfu. His long, sharply defined fingers clamped around her chin, and his fingertips brushed suggestively over her cherry-red, dewy lips.

A thin layer of calluses roughened his fingertips against Lin Wanfu’s skin, making her shudder uncontrollably.

“Are you insane?!”

Lin Wanfu hurriedly braced a hand against Shen Congyan’s chest as he pressed down on her. Her eyes were full of disbelief.

Was this bastard really planning to do this to her in front of everyone?

He’d certainly come a long way.

The old Shen Congyan had been terribly old-fashioned. He’d refused to do anything intimate with her before marriage beyond holding hands and hugging, as abstinent as a eunuch.

But she was an adult with needs of her own.

If Shen Congyan, her fiancé, couldn’t meet those everyday needs, what was wrong with her finding someone else?

She’d originally wanted to part with Shen Congyan on good terms. If he hadn’t stubbornly refused to break off their engagement, she wouldn’t have had nothing better to do than join forces with Shen Huaijin to frame him.

“Am I insane? You really have to ask?”

Without changing expression, Shen Congyan pulled off his perfectly knotted tie and bound Lin Wanfu’s hands with it.

He had once regarded the woman before him as a goddess. He hadn’t even dared to profane her in his dreams.

He had loved her, yielded to her at every turn, accepted her faults, and given her everything she asked for. In return, she had trampled all over his sincerity.

Today, he would make her taste what it was like to be ground into the mud.

Seeing this, the bodyguards hurriedly turned their backs, not daring to look at the explicit scene unfolding.

Some even conscientiously covered their ears.

Come on. The most important thing for a subordinate was knowing how to read the room. Otherwise, you’d never know what killed you.

Father Lin watched helplessly as Shen Congyan pinned Lin Wanfu to the sofa and prepared to violate her.

His eyes were bloodshot. He fought with all his strength to break free of the two bodyguards’ grip, but it was all futile.

“Shen Congyan, you animal! Let Fufu go!”

The next second, one of the quick-witted bodyguards clamped a hand over Father Lin’s mouth.

“Uncle Lin already called me an animal. If I don’t do something animalistic, I’d be letting him down.”

With that, Shen Congyan slowly lowered his head again and whispered beside Lin Wanfu’s ear.

“Tell me, if I take you by force in front of your father, do you think he’ll die of rage?”

Three years ago, that despicable, disgusting bastard of an illegitimate son, Shen Huaijin, produced a pile of forged evidence that left him unable to defend himself and saddled him with a charge of manslaughter.

Shen Huaijin and Lin Wanfu owed him. He would collect from them, one debt at a time.

“Shen Congyan, don’t touch me with your filthy hands!”

Lin Wanfu stared at Shen Congyan, her eyes brimming with loathing. “If you humiliate me like this, Qin Yi will never let you get away with it!”

She had never regretted framing Shen Congyan. She only regretted not having Qin Yi finish him off.

Qin Yi’s identity was a mystery. All she knew was that he was a formidable mercenary overseas, and the wealthy and powerful families of Jinghai City all avoided him like the plague.

Many people had told her that Qin Yi was a vicious man and that she should stay away from him.

She’d scoffed at that. Even if Qin Yi really was a villain, so what? Was she any better?

Besides, other than Father Lin, Qin Yi was the person who treated her best—and her strongest support.

Ever since Qin Yi had suddenly appeared in her life when she was five, he had indulged her in everything. It was no exaggeration to say that if she wanted the stars in the sky, he would find a way to get them for her and make her wish come true.

So even though the Lin family had gone bankrupt, she still had a trump card powerful enough to intimidate anyone. She had no reason to fear Shen Congyan, the mad dog.

“You mean Qin Yi?” Shen Congyan gave Lin Wanfu a meaningful look.

Then, unhurriedly, he undid the top button of his shirt. “He can barely protect himself right now, and you still expect him to come save you?”

He had always hated Qin Yi.

Other people might not have noticed Qin Yi’s filthy intentions toward Lin Wanfu, but he had.

“What did you do?” Lin Wanfu struggled to sit up. Only now did she truly panic.

She should have realized sooner.

Shen Congyan was calculating and always cautious. Three years ago, she and Shen Huaijin had managed to frame him not because their methods were especially clever, but because he trusted her.

Now he had shown up at the Lin residence and humiliated her in every possible way. That was proof enough that he was certain he could leave her completely helpless.

Shen Congyan pressed Lin Wanfu back onto the sofa. He stroked her cheek with an intimate familiarity and said calmly, “I deliberately spread the word that the Lin family had gone bankrupt, that you’d suffered every kind of humiliation and been driven to the point of wanting to kill yourself. Qin Yi really does care about you. To return to the country, he exposed his identity during a mission.”

“Take a guess: did Qin Yi’s enemies dismember him, or throw him into the sea to feed the fish? No, people like them would treat their enemies in ways even more inhuman than anything I’ve described.”

The man’s thin lips parted. His words sent a chill through her from head to toe.

A flicker of panic showed in Lin Wanfu’s eyes. “Qin Yi isn’t that stupid. How could he fall for it?!”

She said it, but in truth she already believed him, because she hadn’t been able to get in touch with Qin Yi for days.

That had never happened before. Even when Qin Yi was on a mission, he would reply within twenty-four hours. He had never once failed to.

“Qin Yi isn’t stupid, but he wouldn’t dare gamble with your life—not even if the chance were one in ten thousand.”

Shen Congyan suddenly seized Lin Wanfu’s chin and forced her to look up at him.

He leisurely admired Lin Wanfu’s pitiful, frightened expression. “Such a beautiful face. No wonder so many men are willing to throw their lives away for you.”

Lin Wanfu’s features were exceptionally beautiful; both her skin and her bone structure were so exquisite that no one could find the slightest flaw.

Her lovely face was as delicate as a hibiscus, her lips red as fire. Thick, loose black waves fell down her back, making the skin at her neck look even fairer, like snow and smooth jade.

She was indescribably beautiful.

Especially those naturally affectionate, almond-shaped eyes of hers. They always made him imagine things, fooling him into thinking she liked him too.

As Shen Congyan’s grip grew tighter, Lin Wanfu let out a soft cry of pain. “Ayan, you’re hurting me…”

She gazed at Shen Congyan, her light brown eyes gradually clouding with tears. Crystalline droplets clung to her curled lashes, not quite falling. She looked weak and innocent.

“Sweetheart, I’m hurting too. It hurts so much I want to eat you alive, bite by bite, skin and bone.”

A strange laugh rose from Shen Congyan’s throat. His voice was hoarse, his tone touched with something unhinged.
