But the very next moment—

A streak of white light, visible only to Jing Mo, shot into her mind. At the same time, countless fragments appeared in her head.

Jing Mo froze. What was that?Full novel: After Transmigrating as the Vicious Supporting Character, I Dumped the Male Lead and Seduced the Second Male Lead — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

As she stood there, dazed, something suddenly changed: a wealth of memories filled her mind, including memories of the beautiful woman standing before her.

Seeing Jing Mo standing motionless like a fool, the beautiful woman smacked her hard on the back.

“Ugh!” The blow nearly made Jing Mo throw up, but it finally brought her back to her senses.

“Xiaoxue?” Jing Mo looked at the beautiful woman in front of her and called her by name.

The Xiaoxue Jing Mo knew was Guan Xue, the original Jing Mo’s close friend. They had practically grown up together.

“Hey, what are you doing? I’ve been calling you forever. Why are you spacing out?” Guan Xue glared at Jing Mo in annoyance.

Jing Mo gave a light cough. Was she supposed to say she hadn’t recognized Guan Xue just now, and that was why she hadn’t answered?

“It’s nothing. I was just thinking about something,” Jing Mo said with a laugh.

“You—why did you come out shopping today? Before, no matter how many times I asked, you never came.” Just thinking about it made Guan Xue furious.

Ever since this best friend of hers got married, she’d been bewitched or something, spending every day fussing over her husband. She wouldn’t even come shopping when Guan Xue asked her. Every other word out of her mouth was about Chi Yan this and Chi Yan that. It was beyond irritating.

Guan Xue’s complaints made Jing Mo furrow her brow slightly.

It was true. The original Jing Mo had rejected every social invitation for Chi Yan’s sake and had offended quite a few friends in the process.

But things were different now!

Chi Yan meant very little to her. For the time being, she could rank him just behind Nanny Wang.

“I’m sorry, Xiaoxuexue. I was wrong before. How about this? It’s my treat today. Pick whatever you want.” Jing Mo put an arm around Guan Xue’s shoulders and declared magnanimously.

At that, Guan Xue’s eyes lit up.

“You mean it?” Guan Xue blinked.

“Yep. Truer than pearls!” Jing Mo nodded.

“Great! Just you wait—I’m going to take you up on that!” Guan Xue rolled up her sleeves, looking ready to go all out.

In the end, Guan Xue dragged Jing Mo around nearly the entire mall.

By the time they were done, both of them were weighed down with shopping bags.

“I can’t do this anymore. I’m exhausted. I can’t walk another step.” Guan Xue tossed the bags onto the floor and sank onto a chair.

“I’m done shopping too.” Jing Mo plopped down beside her.

“Wait—that dress!” As she turned her head, Guan Xue’s eyes, bleary with exhaustion moments earlier, suddenly lit up. She pointed excitedly at a dress.

Jing Mo followed her finger.

In a shop window not far away was a long, bright red dress.

“It’s just a dress. What’s there to get so excited about?” Jing Mo rolled her eyes.

“I think it’d look great on you. Go try it on?” Guan Xue nudged Jing Mo with her elbow.

“No, no.” She didn’t even want to move one toe right now.

“Oh, come on. Go!” Guan Xue gave her a push.

“I really don’t want to.” Jing Mo waved her off.

Seeing that Jing Mo truly wasn’t interested, Guan Xue could only shrug.

“All right. I was thinking, if you wore it, we could go dancing at a bar—you’d look amazing. Then we could pick out a few male models…” Guan Xue hadn’t even finished speaking when she saw Jing Mo already dashing into the shop.

“I’m going to buy that dress.”

Jing Mo was already out of sight; only her words drifted back to Guan Xue.

“Hey, wait for me!” Guan Xue came to her senses and hurried after her, shopping bags in hand.

Jing Mo emerged from the fitting room after trying on the dress.

The moment she stepped out, Guan Xue held her breath. Even the sales assistants stared, stunned.

“Oh my goodness, Momo, you’re absolutely gorgeous!” Guan Xue came up to Jing Mo, her eyes gleaming like a wolf’s.

Jing Mo’s lips curved at the praise.

“I guess it’s all right.” She looked perfectly calm on the outside, but inside she was practically bursting with excitement as she admired the beauty in the mirror.

Oh my God!

How can I be this beautiful?

I look like a goddess who’s descended to earth!

Jing Mo stood tall in the mirror, the bright red gown making the skin it left bare look especially fair. The dress had a high slit on one side, and one of Jing Mo’s long legs showed tantalizingly beneath the red fabric. Its fitted waist showed off her perfect proportions.

Jing Mo had long legs, a slender waist, and a full bust, and with that stunning face of hers—tch, she was truly a knockout.

“Oh, my darling, you’re a total bombshell,” Guan Xue said, patting Jing Mo on the butt.

“Cut it out!” Jing Mo swatted Guan Xue’s hand away.

“All right, I’ll take this one. Please wrap it up for me.” Jing Mo started to change out of it.

“Don’t change. Just wear it. Then I’ll take you to get your hair done, and after that we’ll go pick out male models.” Guan Xue rubbed her hands together, buzzing with excitement.

In the end, Jing Mo took Guan Xue’s advice. After buying the red dress, she let Guan Xue take her to a hair salon that looked quite upscale.

“Tony, give my bestie sexy, big waves—the sexier, the better.” Guan Xue sat on the sofa and raised an eyebrow at the hairstylist behind Jing Mo.

The moment the two of them had entered the salon, they’d drawn everyone’s attention—especially Jing Mo, who attracted the most stares.

When the hairstylists realized they were there for a makeover, they all hurried over, eager to get the job.

In the end, Guan Xue picked the Tony who seemed the most reliable.

Tony nodded at Guan Xue’s request, then studied Jing Mo carefully before choosing a hairstyle for her.

When the transformation was finished, Guan Xue swallowed.

Damn, why wasn’t I a man?

If I were, I’d definitely steal such a gorgeous woman for myself!

Tony cut Jing Mo’s waist-length, straight black hair a little shorter, then gave it big, soft waves and dyed it brown.

Jing Mo was beautiful to begin with, but her previous long, straight black hair had actually hidden some of her beauty.

Now, with her new hairstyle, her beauty was brought out in every way.

“Not bad, not bad. You know what you’re doing, Tony.” Jing Mo gave him a thumbs-up.

Tony looked a little embarrassed by the compliment and scratched his head, at a loss for what to say.

“Wait, something’s still missing.” Guan Xue gave Jing Mo a careful look and realized she needed one more touch.

Oh! Guan Xue quickly figured out what it was.

She pulled a tube of lipstick from her bag.

“Don’t move.” Guan Xue lifted Jing Mo’s chin with one hand and carefully applied the lipstick with the other.

It only took a moment before Guan Xue put the lipstick away.

“There. Take a look.” Guan Xue admired Jing Mo, satisfied. Not bad, not bad—she looked amazing.

Jing Mo looked in the mirror and was a little dazzled by her own reflection too.
