Night had fallen, and the bar was awash in dazzling lights and deafening music that filled every corner.

Ji Xixing leaned weakly against the wall, feeling unbearable heat raging through every cell in her body.

Heavy footsteps approached from behind, accompanied by the lewd laughter of several rough-looking men.Full novel: After Transmigrating into a Novel: the Villain Held Her by the Waist and Coaxed Her Softly to Tears — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“The little girl sure can run. Wonder if she’ll have this much stamina in bed later?”

Supporting herself against the wall, Ji Xixing gasped for breath as she struggled to flee.

The men were far stronger than her. In just a few strides, they caught up to Ji Xixing, whose legs had already gone weak, leaving her unable to run any farther.

Their obscene voices exploded beside her ears without restraint.

“This girl is really something. She’s panting after just a few steps. She’ll definitely be wild once she gets worked up.”

“I heard she’s still a virgin. Hahaha.”

Ji Xixing was petite in their grasp, and the effects of the drug were wreaking havoc throughout her body.

Unable to endure it, she burst into tears, inwardly cursing her terrible luck.

After falling asleep, she had awakened inside the unfinished novel she had been reading before bed, a ridiculous story where every character revolved around the female lead.

Not only had she failed to become the heroine, but she had somehow become the supporting female character whose sole purpose was to highlight the heroine’s brilliance.

And the scene unfolding right now was because she had offended the heroine. One of the heroine’s admirers wanted to teach her a lesson, so they had drugged her and planned to ruin her.

In the eyes of those men, Ji Xixing’s current state only made her look seductive and eager.

One of them yanked her hair with one hand while impatiently undoing his pants with the other.

“Why are you running? Just lie down and enjoy yourself.”

Ji Xixing let out a terrified scream. Fear and pain assaulted her in waves, and the sight of the men’s vulgar grins only deepened her panic.

She couldn’t let them have their way. She had to escape.

Otherwise, after tonight, not only would her reputation be ruined, she would never be able to hold her head high in the Ji family again.

She would truly become the pitiful and innocent supporting character from that unfinished novel.

Clenching her teeth, Ji Xixing bit the bastard holding her with all her strength.

The man let out a miserable howl, and Ji Xixing seized the opportunity to run without looking back.

Afraid they would catch her again, she shut her eyes, steeled herself, and rushed straight into one of the guest rooms.

Seeing which room she had entered, the men outside immediately turned pale. Their eyes landed on the distinctive golden VIP plaque hanging on the door, and hesitation flashed across their faces.

“Boss, what do we do now?”

“Should we break in?” one of them suggested.

Before he could finish speaking, he received a vicious kick.

“Idiot. Break in? Do you even know who’s staying inside? If you offend that man, he’d only need to lift a finger to smash your brains out.”

The leader standing in the middle had already unbuckled half his pants. Frustrated and unable to vent his desires, he directed all his anger at his subordinate.

“Forget it. Let’s leave. Spread the news that she slept with someone tonight. Whether she’ll still be alive tomorrow is anyone’s guess.”

The leader knew full well what kind of methods that man possessed. There was no way he would risk offending him over a woman.

Besides, they had already accomplished half of what they had been paid to do. As for any extra trouble, they wanted no part of it.

Inside the room, Ji Xixing’s overwhelming heat had consumed most of her senses, and her reason had nearly vanished.

The room itself was pitch black. Tears blurred her vision, making it impossible to see anything clearly.

Suddenly, a sharp blade pressed against her abdomen. She was restrained by a man with overwhelming force, and an unfamiliar scent enveloped her instantly.

A cold and dangerous voice sounded beside her ear.

“Who sent you?”

Ji Xixing’s consciousness was already hazy. She could no longer make out what he was saying.

All she knew was that the man’s body temperature was refreshingly cool, and that soothing chill eased some of the fire burning inside her.

Ignoring the blade at her stomach, she instinctively rubbed against him, her breathing becoming increasingly ragged.

The man restrained her movements and looked into her dazed eyes. An unreadable light flashed through his sharp gaze.

He casually tossed aside the weapon and used his now-free hand to grip Ji Xixing’s chin, forcefully turning her face toward him.

“There are at least eighty women, if not a hundred, who want to climb into my bed. Don’t tell me you think tricks like yours still work.”

Ji Xixing blinked her tearful eyes at him. Her chin hurt from his grip, and soft whimpers escaped her lips.

Her pitiful appearance caused the man to freeze for a moment, and the strength in his hand unconsciously lessened.

“Damn it. Why is it you?”

Burning with discomfort, Ji Xixing took advantage of his brief distraction and slipped free of his restraint, throwing herself against him.

“Please help me. I feel so awful.”

She continuously rubbed against him.

The coolness emanating from his chest felt incomparably comforting, yet it wasn’t enough. It was nowhere near enough to save her from the flames consuming her.

Her wandering hand accidentally touched something, causing the man to suck in a sharp breath. An indescribable emotion ignited within his eyes, as though he wanted to swallow her whole.

He grabbed her mischievous hand and pressed her down onto his lap.

Like disciplining a disobedient child, his grip wasn’t particularly forceful, but Ji Xixing couldn’t break free. She could only tilt her graceful chin upward and gaze at him with unfocused eyes.

His hot breath brushed against her neck as his heavy breathing sounded beside her ear.

“Do you know what you’re doing?”

Completely overwhelmed by desire, Ji Xixing naturally had no idea what she was doing.

But instinctively, she sensed that if she said she didn’t know, she would continue suffering.

So she nodded vaguely.

“What do you know?” the man narrowed his long eyes, clearly unwilling to let her avoid the question.

His features were cold and handsome. Even when he smiled, it was only the slightest curve of his lips. Ji Xixing had already wrinkled his black shirt badly with her desperate grip.

Ignoring the question she couldn’t answer, she moved closer to him ingratiatingly.

“Big brother, you’re really handsome.”

Her warm lips landed on his Adam’s apple, drawing a restrained groan from him.

Taking advantage of his momentary lapse, she blushed and boldly leaned closer.

The instant their lips met, she was enveloped by softness. She instinctively extended her tongue, wanting to explore deeper, only to feel a sharp sting on the tip of it.

The pain, combined with her physical discomfort, made tears pour endlessly from her eyes.

Looking at the cold and unmoved man in the darkness, she cried and pouted pitifully.

“I already praised you. Why are you still ignoring me?”

His eyes darkened, and he couldn’t help cursing under his breath as he pulled her into his arms.

The sound of fabric tearing was especially harsh.

“Just don’t tell me you regret it when you wake up tomorrow morning.”
